This is the only grocery store here. Although it's a mom & pop shop, it has everything you could need. They always have good sales and the high school students who work there are always friendly and helpful. The cashiers aren't, but they are never rude. It's like they are just waiting for their shift to end.They have the best selection of Doritos and salsas!!!I love their selection of hair products. They keep old school Aquanet, VO 5 hot oil treatment, and Prell in stock.

I know this isn't a big box store and their variety was outstanding. However, their prices were shocking on some items. I'm rating them primarily on staff friendliness and product availability, but they really need to do some price comparisons.

Since the shut down they have really gone up on prices 11.00 for miracle whip wow totinos pizza 11 for 4 of them

I know it's close to Thanksgiving but the shelves were all empty and I couldn't find everything I wanted so I was kind of disappointed but it was my first time going to that store because I live in Albuquerque. So I'm hoping the second time I go to the this store it will be more stocked with food. Plus the fruit, the apples, the pears, the peaches were very hard and their prices are on the upper side rather than down home America. But I enjoyed my visit to this store. I'm looking forward to going back again.

The only grocery store in town. Incredibly over priced but 3 positives:If you ask for something they usually will try and order it for you andThey gain a star for supporting our local youth leagues and agreeing to help Lea County take care of our sports complex for youth sports.Nice new signs, as well. They were definitely needed.

Compared to Walmart their prices are at least $2 more than Walmart prices. Their shelves are empty and unorganized, they do not have everything you need in the store, everything I was looking for was not there. The cashiers are not nice they're not friendly and they do not have help for people using the electrical chairs

I only go here if I really need something. Other then that I will drive the 20 miles to buy groceries. They really have an issue with their meat and produce being bad. Management is good though.

I'd give them 5 stars if they could keep coffee mate French vanilla creamer in stock. They have an awesome selection of creamers...just always out of the regular French vanilla.... Great produce!!!

A great place to shop. Big city people don't be fooled by the name. You can get your groceries from the stores you are used too in this store. There is a small town appeal within the store. Growing up in the grocery business, it reminded me of the times. It is one of the charms of Lovington, and I do believe family owned. Great people there. I stayed in town for 3 months and enjoyed it.

They have people that touch your basket and bag the food, then asked for money, with a smile. I was scared then realized that is normal or used to be. Loved it.

They've got a lot of the groceries in Hobbs beat on some prices, one hell of a wine list, most of which a working man or woman with a champange taste and beer budget would like. If they don't have it talk to someone I'll bet they could start carrying that item if it's going to sell.

Produce ALWAYS looks like dogs have been playing in it. Doesn't last more than a day after I get it home. Prices are higher than other thriftways! Store is dirty. Bread is WAY over priced! Junk all over the cheese and meats area. Looks like a rummaged sale, not a grocery store. I have also gotten items that were damaged, broken, or opened and I don't realize until I get home! A few of the cashiers are very rude! But mostly all of the produce is rotten or a day or two from it! Just sad to be the only store in this area!!!

Bob's has great service and they have folks to carry out your groceries, there is always a good amount of registers open. There is one issue and that is the prices, being the only grocery store in lovington they have higher prices. On the other hand Wal mart is not even gonna carry your things for you and you always have to wait there...Bob's is a decent store if you don't mind supporting local business and paying a little more.

We shop here often. Service is usually pretty good, not usually out of this world fantastic. The produce is usually pretty fresh but you do have to keep your eye on expiration dates of frozen food. Pay attention to your bagger because a few times I've had my meat on top of the produce and the juices render it useless. The prices are pretty average for a HomeTown supermarket.

Damian was a very good sacker.....there was two other young guys standing there seeing me sacking my own groceries and he finished where he was sacking for the other person and went to help me....that shows he is commented to his job.....we need more like him.....

They are always stocked and the store is always clean which is great but the cashiers are horrible! Not all of them, I have been through a few great ones, but the other ones dont say a word to you and are rude! Even the lady at the customer service is always rude to my husband. I try to avoid the place if I can!

I just have a question... why wont you rehire me? I worked under Glenna back in 2003. She cslled me and offered another job and I was pleased but because of having 2 jobs I could not return... when she tried to hire me back a few years back, I jumped at it but then realized I could not because of the 2 jobs I have had nearly 17 yearr..Now I need a second job. I can work monday - friday after 3 and all day on Saturday and Sunday. I'm very reliable and love cashiering at grocery stores. Come on give me a chance. I've noticed several new cashiers in the last month. Try me out again. You wont disappointed.

Very oddly layed out store. All of the clerks on the floor were clueless as to where items were. The meat market clerk was very kind and helpful, but the quality of the beef and pork were lacking. Very little fresh offerings, no fresh breads or deli and very little produce. Cashiers were rude. The whole store had an unappetizing smell of old vegtables and burnt grease. Only grocery store in Lovington, so if you don't want to drive to Hobbs you have to shop there.

They're great down there in Lovington! I called looking for cases of Cherry RC Cola, and not only did they have some, they put cases aside for me. :)

Three times the sackers left an item unsacked. I live out of the city limits, and it is very inconvenient to drive back and get what they left on the counter. They dont pay attention. Busy talking to the checkers.

Bob's is expensive and the store is dated. Great customer service. I love that they still take your groceries out for you and employ so many high school kids.

I like to buy my meat and chicken here at my home town supermarket, the only thing I don’t like is that they don’t show their sales ad online like other supermarkets. That would be much appreciated if they do that so we don’t have to go all the way to the store to fetch a sales paper 📝
