I’ve never thought of leaving a review for a grocery store but I feel like this location deserves one. We’ve been coming here consistently (maybe twice a week) for the past 3 years and not once have we had a bad interaction with employees. We do prefer the afternoon shift employees. They always seem to be in a better mood and friendlier. But other than that, this location is ALWAYS clean, from the produce section all the way down to the egg aisle. The butchers are always kind to help when I ask questions about the types of cuts they have out. I love this Smiths location. I’ve had to go to several in Albuquerque and none of them compare to the Los Lunas location.

Looks like the old Kmart stores. Homeless people outside doors. Asking for cigarettes, etc. bathroom doors with no locks, minimal vegetables..crowded aisles with no space. no space to place items in self checkouttheir best to help people in Multiple self checkout lanes with no space to place items on shelf.

The store manager is a bag of garbage so are most of the managers in they. Don't care about nothing but their bonus prices are high unsafe practices the Hr lady only hires fummñ7

Good sales when they have them. Not really couponer friendly. Was told mega event items don't qualify for items that have digital coupons which makes no sense. That's a sale item, not a double coupon. Some of the older veteran employees are burnt out you can tell, not friendly anymore. Had a issue with one of the employees in meat dept was very rude. Overall it's ok store.

Where I live, we are limited to 2 grocery stores unless you want to drive a considerable more distance and at my age, I don't. So given that, Smiths is ok, but I'm disappointed in the produce. Not much selection although to be fair perhaps it may have to do that I live in a rural area. I'm just to feeble to grow my own like I use to. Sometimes there are not enough checkers and you stand in line for longer than you like. Staff very friendly and checkers very very fast. Store always clean. I suppose it's everywhere but every time I return the price are higher. You know it's a documented fact that all stores charge more in rural areas cause the know most people won't drive to the city to buy their needed items. Either shame on them or brilliant depending on how you look at life. Enough said.

Smiths mails out coupons but apparently checkers don't like them. When going to checker gave her all valid coupons. However, we saw her tear up some of the coupons at the end of check-out. Her name was "Trish," and she said nothing about the coupons....no explanations about the coupons. We will not return to this Smiths Store.....unable to trust them. There are other grocery stores ln Los Lunas !!

Been a customer here the last 5 years. They have some quality selections and specific items I can't find at the other local stores. Organization is a bit iffy. A few items were completely out of stock well over a week before turkey day but the biggest disappointment is they have now restricted self check-out lanes to "20 Items or Less." Not cool. This store is always busy with lines in every lane. To restrict self check out especially during holidays is completely counterproductive. I had to wait in line but the cashier was friendly and counted all the bags I brought. Checker & bagger were fast, friendly and efficient. I like this store but don't like being forced into the lines.

Horrible place with horrible service, my disabled friend waited for someone to bring an electric cart for 2 hours, the employees are so rude. This isn't acceptable.

Los Lunas Smiths worst produce I have ever seen I have been shopping at this location for at least 30 years it use to be a nice store but for the last 10 years it's gone to hell so we go across the road to Albertsons for our produce that is more expensive but much much better so don't belive there stupid commercial about the produce

Employees here are extremely nice. I am yet to find a rude one. From the cashiers, to grocery, meats, and the people collecting the carts. I love coming to places like this where employees don't seem like robots.

This is ridiculous 1 cashier for a afternoon rush lines down the isle I don't blame the store it feels more of a corpate problem of not hiring enough workers waited in line for 15 min

Alwats Fresh green Chilli cheese bagels in the mornings sometimes bacon and cheese with green chili. Then I grab the 79 cent packs of pastrami or ham and make the best breakfast ever for less than 2 bucks. For my travelers wake up and have a great experience before continuing your trip. Families are welcome and bathrooms are super clean!!!

PAMELA IS SO RUDE. There was a gentleman in front of of us in line who must have calculated his total for EBT wrong and she had to take off a few items for him because he went over. He told her “I’m very sorry about that” and she just shouted at him “31.73!” (His total) prior to this he was trying to explain something to her quietly and she just shouted “I don’t understand what you are saying!” I don’t care how a costumer is paying for there groceries, they should not be treated that way. Then we are next and she is literally throwing our food! She was tossing our drinks (cans), and using her scanner and then slamming it down. She made checking out so uncomfortable for no reason at all. I’ll stick to shopping in the evening, evening employees are much nicer!

I would check your meat if you bought any from this store in the last week. I bought some on 8/18/22 out of the three different kinds of meat I bought 2 were Rotten(1 chuck roast and 1 pork chop rotten ). The sell by date was 8/22/22. I returned my meat with no problems. FYI

Worst store in existence. The employees are extremely rude and unhelpful. The pharmacy is useless. And their dairy section has a putrid rotten milk smell. The food here is not even safe to buy. Save your money and go somewhere where they'll treat you like a human being and not sell you poison.

The pickup service is awful! Bread was bagged with canned food, raw meat with veggies, spoiled lettuce, pasta box in with the chemicals (ie soap, dish pods). Baggers need education when it comes to cross contamination!*UPDATE* this has happened 3 times, called manager the 2nd and 3rd time, the 3rd time the manager of the store connected me to a line that just rang forever! Not acceptable officially lost a customer! Did I mention I used to bag groceries, required to get food handlers license, I know proper procedure! Educate your employees before someone gets food poisening!

We bought some ribs tonight,tired after work thought it would be a good idea...not so much!! 10 buck's for a rack of rib that was probably from yesterday..burnt no meat....sad.it should come with the day and time it was made but no such luck....come on Smith's do better!!!!......the lady that checked us out on the other hand phenomenal!!! Super nice....another customer was being super rude to her and she kept her composure...loved her!!!

After shopping about an hour w my service dog- she wasn’t vested- per the ADA service dogs aren’t required to be vested-after paying through self checkout was I approached by a clerk and told I couldn’t bring my “dog” in next time yet not once while shopping was I asked if my dog was a service dog. I did speak speak w a manager w the clerk present, the manager telling me he knew about the ADA rules re service dog. Because of this clerk I no longer feel comfortable shopping there even w my service dog vested. Before I end this review service dogs,per the ADA, don’t need to be registered/ certified and lastly not all disabilities disabilities are visible.

I have to say during this time that stores are packed. And shelves are empty. I went in and the lines were very long. The employees were great getting people out fast and were still stocking shelves as fast as they could. I was so impressed with how you all worked as a great team to get things done.

We ordered a holiday meal for Christmas. When my mom picked it up the cashier shook her head and commented to my mom "You can't cook?" Way out of line and very rude. The last time I checked customers didn't have to justify their purchases to the cashier. Because of that rude cashier and her unsolicited comment we will never be back.

Found what I came for. Staff helpful and friendly. If you can't find whatever today someone will tell you when a particular item is due in. There is a good shortage due to the hurricane season so one must take that into consideration. You may have to wait a day or two if they're out of something. They're doing the best they can with what they have to work with.

Found everything that was on my list easily and effortlessly. Checkout was fast, problem free and all the advertised sale items were programed into the computer correctly. Cashier and bag people were friendly and helpful. This was a pleasant trip to Smith's.

R u serious the dm had an associate confront me about my service dog he been in there many of times no manager said nothing I've been threw alot the last 4 yrs n u make my friend that knows wat I've been threw tell me something how dare u make him do this u wanna speak to me about my service dog do it not someone else

My local store is corporate but its country like we are. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked usually, good sales and coupons. Bring your own bags for more savings at the gas station.
