Me and my wife have been coming here for quite some time. We have a lot of pets, so we definitely buy a lot of food from here. We were told a long time ago that if we buy 10 bags we get one free no questions. We got a lot of food since then and have been able to get the free bag a couple times. We just recently bought a bag of dog food, this time expecting it to be free because we it was shown on the receipt, and employees telling us each time. But today I was unfortunately told that we are many bags away from our free one because in the past we have bought different brands( to have our dogs eat healthier) during that 10 bag process. I even tried to reason with them and ask if we could get this bag free because we have bought 15 bags at this point without it being free and they would not budge AT ALL. Do not go to this location what they say doesn't mean anything, either a loyal customer or new one. Please watch out for this location.

Michelle and Ray immediately greeted us and determined what we needed. Ray hypnotized our brand new 6wk old blue-heeler which had been anxiously looking for it's siblings...calmed him to sleep! and found the totally correct sized harness for the little guy. Michelle found us a security gate and helped with questions regarding vaccines and other new puppy health issues. This is a well stocked store with professional and friendly help...highly recommended.

Was having issues with finding a groomer near me. I would call and get no answer...leave a message and get no call back or message online and never get a reply. So decided to give Petsense a try...booked online and received confirmation of my appt immediately. Lois was absolutely amazing with my 2 dogs! You could tell she takes pride in her work. Very thorough and patient. She is definitely my "Go to" person . And the prices was surprisingly affordable!

I’ll take a HARDCORE pass on spending my coins here…. Blonde woman is pretty rude. The prices on certain things are astronomical… I think y’all’s lost your minds… I’d be HAPPY to drive across town to pet smart and spend my coins there. I hate to throw race into it but it seems like if you go here and have shade to your skin don’t expect good service. Don’t care, I’m happy to shop somewhere else… 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

We adopted a couple cars form here a few months ago. Great experience. I will say that everything is much pricier than going to a big box store but if you are in a pinch or looking for something specific for pets this may be your place. I only purchased cast supplies because I was already adopting that day but I think I paid almost double for everything that if I had purchased things elsewhere. I do really like that they offer pretty for adoption for the local shelter.

The staff is always friendly and willing to help and their groomer, Jason, is amazing. My dog has a lot of allergies and skin issues and Jason in particular has always been very knowledgeable, offers great advice on dog food, and goes the extra mile when grooming my dog to make sure that he’s comfortable and to help with his skin. Great place.

I loved coming here to get my dog groomed with Jason, but since he left we decided to give the new hire a try. Had an AWFUL experience with her & I will definitely not be bringing my pet here again! First, they “no longer” had record of my dog that’s been coming to them for the past 2 years. They gave us such a hard time about what records was needed when we had proof of shot records but “that wasn’t good enough.” After a long process on getting what they needed, they finally took my dog to the back to begin grooming process. 5 hours later, I get a call saying my dog needed to be picked up because the groomer had a medical emergency. Showed up to pick up my dog & there was no sign of an ambulance or medical staff personnel on site. The groomer was standing in the back & when I told her I was here to pick up my pet, she walked away crying. Another staff member had to help me & took me back to get my dog where I had to physically remove her from the crate myself because she was too scared to come out. Her fur has A LOT of bald patches & was cut WAY shorter than what we asked for. Again, she was there for 5 hours & barely finished one section of my dog’s fur!! My dog was very scared when we brought her home. Management did NOTHING & was very rude! Do not waste your time here!

Great place for cat and dog owners. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately I went in looking for supplies for my fish tank and they had a very limited stock. I did not find what I needed and had to go somewhere else. But is you are a cat or dog owner... give them a visit.

I have been a repeat and loyal customer up until now. I bought a Spray that's supposed to stop your cat from spraying in the house. I tried it for a week and it did not work. It cost $20. I tried to get a refund and the manager said no. I have spent so much money there throughout the years, I couldn't believe it.

We just adopted/rescued an 80 lb two year old Lab/Pit mix and wanted to be sure the integration with our small dogs would be safe. Michelle was patient and helpful in getting us a muzzle that fit correctly.Ya can't get that service online!Thank you Michelle.

PetSense in Los Lunas is nice and clean and have most of the necessities. The selection for accessories and small animal supplies is slim. Great selection of dog and cat food and supplies for them. They have a loyalty program where your tenth bag of food of the same brand is free. Overall, good quality, good store. Small and accessible.COVID safe. Never more than a couple people in the store and all precautions are being taken.

Each time I’ve gone in…zero help. The gentleman said I’d be better off going on Amazon for my fish supplies. The second time I asked for fish and he said we sell cool fish just not here. Avoid this place

The groomer is the Los Lunas, NM store is amazing. We just moved here from colorado and we’re looking for a groomer. He was polite, gentle, and did an amazing job with you baby. We have an older, “Newfoundland” who means everything to us. Our dog loved him. I have found our forever groomer. Give this man a raise. I believe his name is Jason. He is the best!!!

Ever since their groomer Jason left, this place isn't what it used to be. We booked an appointment like we always do weeks in advance for our three dogs.THE DAY BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT they call us to tell us that one of our dogs (Ollie) doesn't have a file in their system. Um, we've been coming to them for grooming for 12 months in a row. How is it that you suddenly lost the file? Ok, so now we gotta find the vaccination records for our dog to show it to them again.We show up today and present the records, but it isn't good enough and they can't bathe Ollie. Wow, so not only did they wait 24hrs to let us know, but it's now a Sunday and we can't get the record they need because the vet is closed. So weeks of setting aside this appointment are drained because of pure incompetence on Petsense's end along with the fact that they don't have a better system in place to ensure the dog is cleared for a grooming.Additionally, their grooming salon uses an invoicing system from 1999, so it is impossible for them to look up what we had done a month ago. We wanted to ensure we were charged the same amount as we have been for the past 12 groomings, but alas they can't find any of our previous tickets. The groomer is literally going one by one through 100s of invoice papers trying to find our name. How do you not have a better system in place?? I felt like I had time traveled back 20 years.Waiting until the last minute to tell us our dog isn't cleared and then losing our previous tickets because you're using an archaic CRM is just plain mismanagement and ineptitude.Lastly, new management is awful at this Petsense. The new store manager attempted to make zero accommodations for their slip-up(s) and didn't seem to care how he was treating repeat customers. Did I mention that we always bring subway cookies for the groomer? We left the cookies with the groomer and took our three dogs to another groomer in Albuquerque instead.Overall terrible experience, definitely find another store to groom your pet. Avoid this Petsense if you can help it.

I visit Petsense about once a month. Nice and clean. Service is good. They carry a brand of organic dog food that can't be found at many other pet stores. Glad they are in a convenient location.

I had my dog groomed and krissi did such a great job! Then I found out the matting of the hair can cause these sores and are uncomfortable for my dog and if they get infected it would cost me a bunch of money at the vet! So she suggest a tea tree aloe on the current hot spots. Thank you for having such a knowledgeable person to groom my dog.

Staff is friendly and helpfulThey take cats from valencia county animal shelter to get adopted. The volunteers that tale care of these cays are awesome. Kennels are always cleaned the cats have names and a little bio and they pick the bestThe fact that pet sense does this gives them the 5 stars
