I usually drive 20 miles out of my way to visit this location, thinking they need the business. Today, I was told in a rude manner to "take off your helmet for the cameras". I used to visit several times a week, but now I guess I will give my business to a closer location.

Clean and stocked, good service. As far a Family Dollar goes, this is one of the nicest. Other stores around town have a look like they're doing inventory or just recieved a large order of merchandise, boxes and stuff stacked everywhere... this one always seems clean and organized. Their inventory levels are better than some Family Dollar's. And the staff are helpful. This is one store I definitely dont mind shopping at.

Only giving one star because I have to. Just came home without buying what I needed left everything at the register because the cashier who was supposed to check us out after we waited for her to ring up the person in front of of us with a cart full of stuff ran off. The manager on duty proceeded to takeover she looked at us and said, "I can get you over here." and started checking out the very last person in line nevermind the two people in front of the last person in line. Worst customer service ever the manager on duty clearly did not understand the concept of a line or how it works. I will not be shopping here ever again.

Service is awful, staff is rude, ignorant and completely lacking in professionalism. Staff regularly instigates conflicts with customers of a personal nature, even to the point of threatening violence.My wife and I have had to contact the corporate office on two seperate occasions due to aggressive female staff singling is out for harassment. By harassment I mean the staff members follow us around the store like retarded ducklings, quacking innane threats of violence towards my wife. Two women on seperate occasions have expressed their desire to fight my wife over imagined slights.One wonders where store management is when thier crew wanders around the store taunting guests.One last note, and this is hearsay but it is widely known in the neighborhood that staff and management skim from the register. A few months ago the entire staff was recycled due to this sort of embezzeling. This new bunch seem no better, and I regularly witness hushed gossip and arguments having to do with the financial paperwork and the bank drop.In short, a terrible place to shop. I have forbidden my children to even enter the store's parking lot as the environment is so toxic and debased.

The opening day of Family Dollar is a Dream come true a significant Improvement in Meadow Lake and the employees are all good women (friendly). The first real shopping store in this area.
