Place has everything, but it always looks like a hurricane hit it. They just remodeled so it's a lot better than it was. The staff is friendly, but they dont stay ther Long enough to know anything.

The staff is friendly but the store is ALWAYS a mess.im disabled and I can't get through some of the aisles. And now we are living in time's of the Corona virus and by the looks of it every time I pass no precautions are taking place. I'm happy your busy but care enough about your customers and yourselves and do your best to take precautions...It's been month's since I've been in here...different staff as usual.Store is still a mess!!!

Here's the thing:There are a handful of Dollar General stores in the area, I worked at one for a few years in another state, and my personal expectations may be a little on the high side.First, I have to say, this store is very conveniently located, it carries nearly everything a typical DG would carry (when they have it in stock), and I haven't run into a single nasty employee.That said...This location is frequently being burglarized and is, due to that, desperately in need of additional staffing. Folks simply don't want to risk being hurt, which is understandable, but because this location is so understaffed, it's very difficult for the associates and managers to keep up with product recovery, stocking, and keeping the merchandise orderly. These poor people are so overworked and underpaid, it truly amazes me that they remain so polite, helpful, and cheerful toward the customers.While things are pretty easy to find while shopping, even in a hurry, a lot of the aisles are always in shambles, "orphaned" merchandise all over the place from people changing their mind about a purchase and then putting the unwanted item down wherever they please rather than returning it to the aisle from which it came. It's also kind of in the middle of nowhere in a spot where you see a lot of stray dogs wandering around and they'll occasionally sneak in behind or beside a customer to quickly run through in search of loose food. I've pulled in to the lot and seen the manager chasing these poor strays out the door on a few different occasions. Granted, they can't let the dog just run around the store to scavenge, but it's sad nonetheless.Overall, if you don't mind some clutter, the occasional friendly pooch following you in, and value positive employee attitudes, then, I'd recommend this location for sure. My only advice is that if you need to go there after dark, try to park close to the door if you can so you're in view of their security cameras, and, either don't go alone, or make sure you carry a weapon for personal protection because it is typically after sundown that the place winds up being burglarized.

This store is clean, but every time I go the staff is always stocking their shelves. Which is fine and all but it kinda takes up space in the aisles. Than no one is at the register, good thing I’m not a thief or I could leave with some products. Staff are always friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised. They had a little bit of a lot of different stuff-- toothpaste to food to Hostess. I found myself at the register still grabbing for stuff and sending my son for something else. The cashier was very courteous. I'm not a mean person but I really wanted to say something to them for being rude and inconsiderate (loud and kept removing their masks). Although I did make them wait, I just wish they had adhered to the 6' distance and that's why I kept mine on.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Store is ALWAYS EMPTY! workers don't care and I can understand why. Most of the time there's only 1 person there. Place is always trashed messy and dirty. The other day I went there and had to WORK THE INVENTORY just to get a bag of dog food. Today I went expecting the same if not worse. Stores closed. At 5 pm. Why? 1 person showed up and noped out. I would to. DG doesn't pay them enough to put up with that BS. Why has this store not been permanently closed if it's Corp office dgas about it? Wouldn't surprise me in the least if it gets shut down. As it should be. Trash. Psa to customers..stop you're entitled brat behavior. And this Wouldn't be the situation. DOLLAR GENERAL NEEDS TO DO BETTER!

Associates are, according to my experiences, always helpful. Two of the three, the other was working the register, without knowing that the other was helping me, assisted in looking for an item. Each stopped what they were doing to look with me. We didn't find it. But that's not the point. Pleasant experience.

There are signs that customers have to wear masks upon entering but apparently employees are exempt from mask wearing. One employee was stocking shelves with no mask. Another employee was cashiering and in between customers she took her mask off and put some food in her mouth, put her mask back on and asked if she can help me. I told her no, not until she washes her hands because she touched her mouth. I went to the other cashier and she just giggled. Needless to say, I don't trust the cleanliness of this store at all and will refrain from ever shopping there again.

Place is always a mess. Cashiers can sometimes be rude and slow. Always out of red bulls and cigarettes. Would be a great place if they could get the right people and keep inventory up. Missing out on money $$$

Store needs to improve there organization. Shelves were empty. Only one employee in whole store. DG in Los Chavez and Bosque Farms is much better.

The customer service is horrible here, the worst I’ve experienced at any retail store. They double charged me, I came back to sort it out and they just gave me the cold shoulder and told me to come back about three hours later and when I suggested a possible solution, they were very rude and told me “you’re just gonna have to come back.” Very rude is employees will not be returning after this situation gets sort out.

I love dollar General I always a us find everything I need for a low price it has same products from the Wal-Mart but it is alot cheaper it has some good employees some are very rude although it is a great place to shop

What can be said about a Dollar Store? Well, they're there for you with the stuff you want at a price you can afford. A bit scant in the grocery department, but otherwise just what you expect. Good store.

Before they put this Dollar General in it was about 10 miles to get to a store so its very convenient and the employees are always helpful and friendly.

Very convenient location, however Dollar general has a very bad habit of understaffing it's stores and as a result, it stays unorganized and messy, but what do you expect for a bargain corner store.

The dollar general in el cerro mission is one of the best store's they have . the store is clean and the service from the clerk's is wonderful .Dollar General is my store for sure. Thanks!
