Really cute little store! A wide variety of items, kept finding something new around the corner. I was visiting so didn’t have my dog with me otherwise I would of gotten one of there cool looking dog donuts. Plus it was fun to read all about the pet turtles that live in the store.

This is a great local spot for everything pet related! They have such a wide variety of items and easy returns with an easy account setup. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a pup in Los Alamos!

Love taking my dogs there to get treats and toys! Offers wonderful selection of food brands as well as toys and treats. Pet friendly so you can take dogs into the store and they offer free treats to all pets!

The staff is so knowledgeable and compassionate with the questions I have about our dog. They have gone out of their way many times to walk me through food allergies, appropriate substitutes, and how to alternate proteins. Most recently I went in with a picture of my pup’s eye which was irritated and after suggesting I get the vet to check it out, they quickly gave me a recommendation to help ease his discomfort until we could get it seen about. Super great people and the store has a great variety.

It's been a long time since I've been to Pet Pangaea. It seems bigger than I remember from 13 years ago or so. Anyway everything was fantastic in the store and fun to go through while shopping for my new adopted pet. They have great options for all price ranges. Also some things that I didn't know existed and we're fun/healthy/exciting options. Since I didn't know my way around and also being handycapable I was able to both get around the store with no problem in my scooter and the cashier, Diane, was extremely nice, informative, and patient. Thank you for everything we look forward to our next visit to get our pets supplies!

Pet Pangaea is THE SPOT for local Los Alamos pet care and provisions.Their prices match online retailers and their product selection is curated with your furry loved ones health and long term well-being in mind.As a product conscious pet owner I am comforted by the conscious store offerings. They do the work for me so I don't need to search online to know if the food is good for my puppers. If it's bought at Pet Pangaea I know it's good for my pets.Also, no matter how big the haul their store experts ALWAYS offer to help me out the door and to my car. I always say no except one time I said yes because I had four bags of cat litter (don't ask) and boy was I grateful!It shows they really care. Shop local. Support Pet Pangaea. Five stars.

Good supply of food, health products, and toys, and they can special order anything that's not on the shelves. High quality stock. The store will also provide emergency support if you need a middle of the night rescue for something like a skunk spray or a neck cone.

I live out of town but, this is the only store I choose to buy my dog food from. They're knowledgeable kind and very attentive to their customers. Typically, my usual purchase is already sitting on the counter before I can make it across the store from the front door.It doesn't help that my huskies are very picky about their food, treats, and toys; they only like high quality amenities. It's Pet Pangaea or NOTHING!We love them!

I buy guinea pig items here and they are all very reasonably priced and they have a great selection. I also buy CBD for my dog which help him so much with getting around because he is older and it helps his back hips so much. The staff is always friendly and helpful I definitely recommend going here!

This is a good place. They are small, and unfortunately, the only pet store in town. But they do a good job. They don't carry everything I might hope, but that's a function of their size. They recently expanded their space, and this is getting better. The service is really good, and they will often order things they don't carry.

Coming home with an unexpected new kitty, we stopped here to get set up. Never having a cat before, they did a wonderful job getting us set up with everything we would need for out new family member. This store is great, and Cindy and her staff go out of their way to accommodate Los Alamos residents. This is the ONLY small store in town that I've found that actually caters to preferable customer hours, versus convenient employee business hours, and that alone has made me a HUGE fan. Do you need to stop by after work? They're open! Do you need to stop by on the weekends? They're open! Even on Sundays!!! Do you have an "oh crap:I forgot that I'm all out of cat/dog/fish food" emergency or need to order something they don't usually stock? They will go out of their way to help you.I've lived in Los Alamos for ~15 years and I have to say that I've taken most of my business off of the hill in the past because of the extremely poor customer service and pricing that I often find in local specialty businesses. However, in Pet Pangaea's case, I'm willing to pay an ever-so-slightly higher price because they are willing to help me, and they make it so darn convenient to do business with them. And I really like having a person behind the business name, and Cindy does that well...
