Owner jumped through hoops for me and I can't thank her enough. Family member in Las Vegas, NM had covid and I wanted to get Quercetin and Zinc to him fast as possible and he was alone and could barely walk and I'm in Chicago. In comes the Semilla heroes that delivered it to his door in around 10 minutes. That's Service! Thanks you so much again Semilla (Arianna I think?). BTW - Amazon would have taken 6 days even with Prime.

I absolutely lobe semillas as i only live a few buildings away from them. They have wonderful fresh food and anything I can't find at Lowe's or Walmart I can find there. Plus they sell metaphysical products as well as pet products and so much more! And to top it all off the staff is absolutely amazing so kind and very helpful when questions are brought to them.

This is a small co-op style health food store, where you'll find essential healthy food but not a large selection of anything especially vegetables. They focus on organic food and a decent selection of supplements, and a larger refrigerated section than you might expect. Prices are high but that's to be expected, as a small store they can't get those big bulk discounts. There isn't anything else around that's comparable (Santa Fe has better health food stores but it's 60 miles away) so it's nice they're here to serve the local health concious population.

The best grocery store in San Miguel County. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, a large selection supplements, all natural cleaning supplies, health foods and local products.I frequent this business at least twice a week. I love this store!

Awesome locally owned place.I’ll return frequently, since you’re a local business, as long as you are able to get local produce and, but I REALLY don’t want to mention it, that you aren’t over 30-40% above the big box. I’m sorry but cost vs intake wins, even though I would prefer to have you succeed while they fail. Alas, iffen farts turned into gold i would NEVER return to the big box conglomerates.

A local meet up spot! Only place for great organic produce besides Walmart. Go ahead and support a local spot that supports their staff! Top Quality! Friendly helpful staff who literally loves their customers! I want to give 11 stars!! ❤❤❤ Trying to feed my chikdren clean healthy food is possible because Semilla is in town! I moved here from NY with my 1-year old to study at NMHU. I have no car. I live about 11 minutes (of a walk) from this store, so this place is really one of two groceries I shop at regularly. Additionally, I’m gluten intolerant and can find many items at Semilla’s that have truly saved my experience staying in Las Vegas NM. Not to say Vegas people aren’t lovely on their own lol

Great selection, expected pricing for natural foods in a remote location. Not driven to return. However if you can endure bring held hostage at the checkout while your diet choices are analyzed and getting lectured on conspiracy theories by the cashier then this is the place for you.

Thank you for your valuable knowledge and insight of proper nutrition. I can only imagine how many people in this town don't like to hear it because of all the greasy or fried foods, but I really appreciate the love and support Semilla's provides. Anytime I juice fast, your produce is the first thing I think of.

Located inside an old house, has different things in different rooms. A decent amount of locally grown foodstuffs as well as items from around the world. Some items reasonably priced, while some things are quite expensive. Look around before you buy, because a different brand might be significantly cheaper.

Oasis!! Must stop. Staff is super friendly. Stocks everything one might need. They get fresh bread and pastries delivered each week which are very popular from what I heard. Cute, orange cat outside greets customers.

Fresh local honey(take your own jar they'll weigh it before you empty as much or little honey into it), ear candles, nuts and drinks you won't find anywhere else. Healthy place good service and friendly knowledgeable people. If your wondering what ear candles are. Google it.

This place is quaint, seems like a local shop but tbier prices are expensive by any standard. Considering that they are the only natural food store in las vegas is pretty sad. You can easily pay three times as much here for less then a hand basket of groceries as you would for a cars load in Santa Fe. Like most stores here seems like they have a captive market of college students, and people who think they are saving money by not going to any of the actual chain groceries in santa fe. The selection of produce is limited and they charge far to much for everything except bulk grains, legumes, and honey. Staff is so so. Sometimes they are quite nice, otherwise they have a very "special" attitude, as though they are doing the community a favor just being there. The farmers market nextdoor on weekends feels like a insiders group. The selection and prices are a joke compared to the Santa Fe farmers market. Like most businesses in Las Vegas, Semilla seems to target the less then able to travel and take full financial advantage of them. College students or townies who cant afford to drive to Santa Fe, spend way too much money here thinking that they are supporting a local business and saving money. If you have a hundred dollars to spend you might be able to get some dairy and some potatoes. Money would be better spent on the trip to Santa Fe as you could easily stock up on several items for the trouble of the trip.
