**BEWARE OF THE MIGHTY VOLUNTEER** After lining up with the other cars since 7 am. A rude volunteer decided to lie and say I hit him with my car because I blocked a driveway for 5 seconds (no one in driveway) so I was asked to leave after waiting 2+ hours. It's really pathetitc. Had I hit him with my car, there would've been witnesses and the cops would've been called. And they believed him! So any lie he chooses to tell can get you thrown out. Wow!! What a waste of time. Good luck getting your food box. Also note. I've been going for years. And have always been courteous of peoples driveways. Just letting everyone know the mighty volunteer has all the power.

There are very few items with clearly labeled prices. For the most part, the employees pick and choose the price based on the customer that they're checking out. I was told, when I asked, that the books and magazines would be $1.25 ea. As the gentleman was counting through my selection, a female employee rudely interjected that the price will be $1.75 ea. And when I stated that I had already been quoted the lesser price, she proceeded to berate the elderly gentleman cashier. Her behavior was despicable! She would rather no sale, than to sell to a white person. That's just fine. I don't want to help your charity anyway. Bye.

They can't move any large items to your vehicle (short staffed). But otherwise very nice people with a wide selection.

Samaritan House shelter has the best support and resources. The staff members are all amazing. The Samaritan House shelter is a safe and friendly environment. The Samaritan House saved me, they got me off the streets and kept me off the streets. They helped me better my life and myself, I am very great full for the Samaritan House Shelter.....

This is an amazing and worthy place to go for families or individuals facing great hardship. Christina and James are the best people to talk to to start a case for those in serious need for housing support, food and shelter. Call them it's worth the Google.

This place has come a very long way...the employees and volunteers just keep on tryin'ta help the less fortunate. Busy? YES, but they'll help a person even if they don't have the means...they'll find it for you. Thankyou for Y'all being there for EVERYONE!!!

The Samaritan House is filthy with garbage, urine, and vomit covered porch. The police are called during the day and night to the facility. Where are the counselors coming into the facility? Do they step over the vomit and syringes when they enter?
