First time taking my pup to a grooming location and this place was very good! Their customer service was excellent and they were willing to work around my schedule. I picked up my chihuahua very happy and very cleaned, not to mention their prices, very within budget! Would definitely recommend!

Traveling near Las Cruces and our dog was overdue for grooming. She was scruffy and a bit matted after dry camping out in the desert for several days. Reviews looked good and I was able to book easily online. I got lost coming in from back roads and called-- appreciated that they waited an hour and kept my appointment. Groomer did a great job on my doodle and Juno seemed happy when I picked her up.

First groom , and when I walked in to pick my pup up she was just hanging out and watching the other dogs get their spa day . That’s when I knew she had a good experience. My pup was also so clean cut . This is my forever place for my doggy . Groomers and team were super nice and friendly!!

Buyer Beware! Scheduled Groomer no showed my 3/19 appt and both my cocker spaniels were not groomed as directed with photo shown and clear verbal instructions, specifically on face, muzzle, head, etc, using 10 blade. Called owner (who was out of town) who instructed me to return for proper shave at no charge. Returned today after 2 week trip and was offered only partial refund for grooming failure I paid $139.39. Would not tell me amount refund, no receipt, stated I had only paid $40, and refused to complete the full service I was extremely dissatisfied with. Employees on 3/19 attempted to collect from me twice calling me in route to Rio Rancho and requesting cc number. Very deceptive owner after 2 years of good service and 20% tips!

First time taking my older GSP to any kind of groomer and was happily surprised. We have always had a very hard time trying to trim his nails so decided to try the Doggy Shop after hearing good things about them from friends. Ordered an oil change premium and heard from the man that checked me out that my boy did great. They treated him wonderfully and he was not as anxious as I was expecting when I picked him up. Not sure who worked on my pooch, but I do recommend this shop, especially for first timers.

First time I had my poodle groomed here. I was very happy with how she was groomed and well handled. My poodle is almost 15 years old and she did very well. They are very friendly and appreciate their clients. 1st visit was great! Second visit it took 2 1/2 hours. Also my dogs cut was choppy, not very precise as it was the first time. Must of been a less experienced groomer.

My doggies looked great when we picked them up. Shocking what they charge. $30 more per canine than other groomers in the area. Yes they do the works but so do other groomers. For $75.00 per pet I expected something, anything beyond what is standard by all other groomers. Lesson learned and will return to other area groomers for same services for less. (Side note our Shih Tzu has scratches under both eyes where the groomer scraped too deeply down to the skin…it is red and raw… hello gentleness would have been appreciated).

First off there are two things I worry about when I take my puppy to get groomed.1.Was our baby taken care off,comfortable,treated like a baby by someone nice,not subjected to abuse, or even around somone with a patience deficit?2. The quality of the hair cut.And yes that’s the order I rank it in. The precision of the cut is a distant second to my puppy being treated good and being happy. Hair will grow and then it can be redone.The Doggy shop got number one down perfect I felt great about leaving my puppy w them the daughter from what I gathered is exactly what I was my puppy to be around. Soft spoken patient and very interactive w the baby! So they are a definite option in the future! The precision of the cut could use some work , a lot actually but hey that comes w experience. There are places in town that give my babies the perfect cut but I’ll never subject my puppies to that again. I strongly suggest giving these people your business as i am certain the hair cut will improve! This is a good place to keep open just for the fact that the young lady treats our babies like we would want the be me treated.

My doggo usually gives me alot of grief and resistance going into grooming shops...not this one!! He waltzed right in! As soon as you enter you can tell by the atmosphere and setup that these folks know what they are doing. Very nice. Very professional. Very affordable. Highly recommended.

My dog is usually anxious around dog groomers, but with them he looks relaxed and happy. I appreciate them making my dog feel comfortable. They also create beautiful hair cuts. He looks very sharp and clean.
