Lovely park on a man-made lake. They allow RVs to stay up to three nights. Nice large spaces with electric and water hookups, covered picnic tables. Very clean and safe. Great walking path around lake. Nice grocery store in town. Thank you, Jal!

Nice park to camp for up to 3 nights. Water, electric and covered picnic table. There is also a dump station. It is free - no donation box. Clean pit toilets. Nice walk way around lake and play areas. A little noisy but does quiet down by 10 or so. Lights at basketball courts are on 24/7. Safe place to stay. Stayed here in March w/33' fifth wheel.

Love the new play sets they have a smaller one for the little and a bigger one both have shade over them. Cant wait for them to turn the splash pad on. Nice for get togethers bbq. Plenty of space to be in your own spot. Bathrooms are decent.

Very much enjoyed our time there, the park, the little town and the people. The park was clean, trash cans emptied daily. The rv parking spots (6 of them) were level, with 30 and 20 amp power outlets and water at your site. RV dump close by. The rv sites also have lighted, covered, picnic tables. There is a nice cement walking path around the lake. About 7/10ths of a mile with resting benches along the way. A nice play area for children and tables for day use. Lots of friendly ducks that want to be fed and will follow ypu all over if they think you have food for them. If you stay in the rv area you will likely be visited by a nice gentleman that has lived in Jal his whole life. He will stop by to welcome you to Jal, answer any questions you may have. He offered us a tour of Jal. A half hour later we were back and impressed with his knowledge of the area. We took pictures along the way. If you are lucky and get a tour, or if not, be sure to see the 22 ft tall by 400 ft long metal sculpture of 17 cowboys on horseback herding cattle.

An oasis in the desert. Nice park with a small pond and ducks. Great playground for sports! It's a shame that dog owners don't clean up after their pets!

Well kept park with a lake, free RV hookups, splash pad, 2 covered playground and a very nice exercise area. RV sites have more space than paid parks. Great place to take a break and for kids to play.

This park was such a blessing! In town for 2 days with work and looking for a place to plug in a Class B motorhome for 1-2 nights. Called all over town and no one had available spaces and only rent by the month. Very kind lady told me about this beautiful park and I am SOOO BEYOND THANKFUL!!! There are 6 RV spots with electric & water. RV dump station onsite. Each site has its own covered picnic area, grill and trash container. Basketball court across parking lot. All spots are paved and level. It is located next to the Lake with walking trails and benches all the way around it. Ducks playing and was very quiet. Get ready folks.....all of these beautiful amenities where FREE! Yes, you read this correctly! FREE!!!! The city of Jal allows people visiting their little town access to this park free for up to 3 nights. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, City of Jal!!!

Nice place to stop and rest. Has 5 rv spots with electric and water. Dump station down the road. All of this is free. You have a 3 night limit.

It’s more like a small park with a body of water in it. It’s nice enough place to come to relax and chill out, and feed the happy ducks that are all to willing stalk you for food.It has a concrete walkway along the perimeter of the park for walking or jogging, with a affixed work out area. Has large open grassy field area to the right. Has basketball and tennis courts, and RV parking no-hookups.Not really sure how safe this place is at night. People do gather here in the evening, so have a buddy system in place.

Nice park. It has a lake, playground, walking trails, two restroom on opposite sides of the lake, and RV parking/staying up to 3 days.All this for free!Only down side to staying over night is that the park is next to a road that has large trucks going through all the time. Other than that very quiet.

Nice park and lake to visit. Free RV parking with water and electric hook ups for up to 3 nights. We stayed 1 night. It was a nice spot to park but traffic noise and a train didn’t allow for much sleep

So nice! Clean. Playground- splash pad- ducks- fishing. Even a big pavilion with lots of outlets. Perfect place for a party me and my girls had a little dance party. Next time I'll bring a speaker. Living the good life out here with this good warm weather and cool breeze. It truly is a great place. I love it.

Nice of the town of Jal to offer 3 nights of free camping with electric and water hook up. Dump station nearby.Pretty park with trail around the lake. Not good for dogs!!! Goat heads everywhere, even on sidewalks from the wind.

Diamond in the rough. Literally. This was probably the most nice place we stayed at in Texas, and it was free. Awesome park, I have three kids and they loved the splash park. It was all very clean.

Splash pad kids loved. Feed the ducks around the lake, nice walking track, covered pavilion and restrooms available. The 4th of July festival and fireworks are a must see.
