Don’t come here for any emergency repair. My wife and I were traveling through got a flat the night before so we stayed over night. In the morning I went to their service department as their operation hours state 7 AM, 7 PM when I got there the gentleman advised me that they couldn’t do it until noon because there was not enough of personnel.

Always have a good experience when I come early in the morning. This store has Excellent cashiers, some stand outs are Amelia, Sharon, and Emma. Also the store greeters are always so friendly! Some more stand outs are James, Susie Q, Socorro, and Maria! Thanks for employing such friendly people.

I drive a truck, so I go to A LOT of Walmarts all over the country. This is one of the better ones, especially since it doesn't carry firearms (I've found that stores still carrying firearms tend to be the best). This store has a decent selection, and I actually saw the employees doing their jobs. Getting in and out of the parking lot with a truck can be a bit tricky during busy times, but it is possible. Overall, it's not bad, but the best, but far from the worst.

This WalMart was quiet for a night's stay but only after the store closed. Before the store closed there was all kinds of crazy locals in their pickup trucks being very loud and obnoxious. I guess they don't like travelers invading their territory. It did turn out to be safe to stay for the night.

It's a great hand soap!!!! I really really really like it, it leaves my hands feeling smooth and clean!! and the smell amazing!! I don't know why they're are so many negative reviews 🤔 but hey I like it and that's all that matters😁😁😁😁

Walmart never disappoints me, but this one is a let down. I’ve been asking for disinfectant wipes since September 2023 and now it March 2024 still nothing. You can never go a get a basket they act like every day there is a Black Friday, and when they do decide to take some in their is dirty diapers or something disgusting in it, it seems like no one cares, I won’t even start on customer service that’s in a different category “AWFUL”. The worst Walmart in the USA

Auto care department is straight garbage! Brought my truck for an oil change and they stripped my draining plug off. They couldnt take it off and didnt fix or pay the damage!

I wanted to buy a sports bra for my 11 yr old daughter and they wouldn't let her try them on to see if they fit first. I had multiple associates "help me" but never a manager.

I love Wal-Marts you can find a lot of stuff but sometimes you find lazy or annoying employees, i was waiting for 30 min for someone from the guns department to unlock something I was going to buy and never appear then I ask a lady employee if she can help and she only reply with it's going to take a long time to open because I need the keys and I don't have them, like saying don't wait we dont want to help you

Let me first start off by saying that I appreciate the fact that I'm able to purchase groceries from a well-stocked store. My frustration is with the checkout. I was told back in October 2023; they were going to be opening more of the cashier's stations. Every time I've been here, there are usually only 2 cashier's (in the afternoon only) and extremely long lines. I can see the frustration on the cashier's faces. I like the self-checkout when I have a few items, but I don't appreciate the worker's standing around watching me do their job with a full cart. I am NOT a Walmart employee; I am the paying customer. And then you have the audacity to stop me before I leave the store to check my receipt?!? If you're worried about theft, hire security guards to stand and check receipts. You're the only Walmart in Hobbs and I know how busy this place gets. I'm sure you can afford it. C'mon Hobbs Walmart, do better.

I have tried two different times to get some items from the deli. Both times there is no one that can speak English. This wouldn't be a big deal if there was a way to communicate. The staff were very friendly and we tried to figure it out. Management needs to do a better job at staffing areas that require more interaction with customers. There were a few of us trying to get items that this was an issue.Then there is no manager around, no one will answer the phone. So my conclusion is this store needs to work on their communication skills.

The cashier was wonderful. The store was very confusing and not well stocked. Refuse to to use self checkout after wondering around looking for what l need, for 2 hrs. No one to even ask for help.

Hate the fact that there are usually only one checker on duty. They make you have to use self check out. The personal shoppers that stand in the isles and block all traffic through that isle. These shoppers can certainly do this during the slow hours such as early in the morning or late at night before closing. Can’t stand the commercialism of the WalMart stores.

Always able to check out quick here, and the only Walmart I have ever been to where an employee ear hustled my husband and I and helped us find exactly what we needed without even being asked. Awesome.

My experience was bad could’ve been better but I was asking an employee a question about an item and some lady walked up and said I needed to leave her alone she was working so I left without getting what I needed because it’s clear my time is also not needed here.

Tons of choices, and most all of the employees are really nice. Big Mike and his pit crew really know how to get it done. Stopped in for a pit stop, and they had my head lamp changed out in a flash! Would definitely recommend...

So, I'm not excited about this, that's a inch gap between the h and the messed up a. But I needed to go, so I took the cake, paid good money for the largest they make. I asked the 2 ladies that were working yesterday if this can be fixed. They told me no, they can't fix it. I got the impression that they just didn't want to. This should not happen. I think whoever manages over the bakery, needs to have words with the staff that worked yesterday 4/29/22. If I would have had more time I would have asked for another one.

The rating for this store is dropping everytine I go in there. I love Wal-Mart, but this location (Hobbs) is terrible. They need to fix the air conditioners and there is never...and I repeat...NEVER enough checkers. You have to stand in line for 15 to 20 minutes to get checked out. And the self checkout is usually backed up to the frozen foods. Please...for the love of GOD....either get more checkers or build a new Wal-Mart location to support the amount of customers in this area.

More help is much needed! The employees need to be people friendly, not point fingers were to find items, instead show the customer where the item is (walk). Parking lot needs security for customers especially the elders!

It's like any typical Wal Mart. Clean parking area but for some reason people are so lazy on putting the carts in the coral they will leave them just in random areas, they'll even do it while your in your vehicle. But I digress, they have plenty of self check out, the side where the groceries are seems to be the busiest at times. The areas are usually clean and the staff are quite knowledgeable and helpful depending if they're busy. My only gripe is the electronic area but can't really blame the staff seeing that it's usually two of them and they are constantly being called away to help customers for items that behind the glass case si it will take them a while to get to you. Great place to shop for everyday needs and they do carry FR clothing.

I am a Buddhist mendicant which has taken a vow of poverty (I do not handle money or accounts.) and someone ordered food for me to pick up as I am traveling. Just in town a few hours and a pickup order is placed earlier, but they wanted 29 hours fulfilling an order placed 1/21 12p with 8 or so items and the manager wouldnt be reasonable even though staff are available and considered my request of pulling the items from the shelf and fulfilling thd order unreasonable and was rude. Cashiers insisted the order is for the 22nd at 5p despite the order being placed the same day and the order viewable by them and charge run against a credit card.
