Such a great place to stay! Peaceful, relaxing, and super friendly. The rentals are spotless and adorable. The owner is wonderful! Pet friendly. This was our first stay but I think we're going to be regulars.

I really enjoyed my stay the past couple of days. The host is a very kind person and really loves dogs! We brought my fiance's family up here for his grandmother's birthday and she really enjoyed it. We brought our own RV but there are RV's you can rent as well as RV spots for your own full hookup. There is a creek that runs behind the village, but at this time there wasn't any water which was a bummer but we would like to come back again and see it when it's full and running. The Gila National Forest isn't too far away so you can take a nice cruise up there to see the rock formations and really neat landscapes!

This is a wonderful stop for traveling cyclists, and very inexpensive, like $2 a person to set up your tent. There is a shower and toilet, but those are fed from the same hose, so if you're going to boil spaghetti, you fill your pot from the shower. You flip a valve to turn on the toilet when you want to flush it. There is also wi-fi there, but you have to hunt for reception. There's also a group campfire area apparently, but we didn't use it.

Quiet yet not too far out they are close to the general store cafe which is the only food in the town.

I stayed in the Canned Ham “Virginia”. It was such a cool experience. It’s run by a sweet lady who treats people right. Recommended!!!!
