I stopped in late-night while on a long road trip. I was pleasantly surprised how nice this store was-- well lit, wide aisles, a fantastic selection of salsa, fresh produce, and some excellent farming equipment. Was really taken back when I saw 3-liters of soda, I haven't seen those in Colorado in more than 30 years. It almost looked like it was closed when we pulled up, not the best parking lot lighting, but I am glad we went inside. I wish we had a selection of salsa like that in Denver.

This is one of the cleanest Market I have been too. It's super cute on how the incorporated vintage farm equipment through out. The deli had the best fresh hot fried chicken ever. They had a great selection on salsas that are local to the area. The customer service was outstanding. I wish I lived close by, this would be diffently be my go to Market.

Great market. Very clean and attractive- like a fancy boutique market but with real grocery options. Their tasty and cheap breakfast burritos and coffee saved us the other am when everything else was closed. Seating inside near the bakery and outside on the terrace. All the hatch chili products as well.

Tired of the wait at Sparky’s? Need a quick lunch or just about anything with Chile? Check out the deli for lunch, maybe pick up some groceries or a Chile fix. Deli has the standards- green Chile enchiladas, burritos, etc., along with sandwiches and drinks. Tables inside and out on a patio if nice outside. Where many locals stop. “Aieee. The food is all good”.

This supermarket has the fun perk of being filled with vintage buggies and tractors. It serves tourists and locals alike with a wide variety of chille themed merchandise and other essentials

I shopped on friday afternoon around 2 pm. It was busy but the store clerks were friendly and professional. The store shelves were well stocked. They even had some items I've been searching for. Wonderful selection of New Mexico salsas and hatch produce.

I witnessed the saddest thing in this location I witnessed a customer yelling at an employee at Village Market yelling at an employee over something so simple and calling for a manager shows how much of a Karen they are! But the saddest thing I witnessed was How they preferred to take the side of the customer instead of protecting their employees it really showed that Village Market does not value its employees and it’s probably one of the worst places to work at. Village Market is one of those places that is pretty from the outside but it’s the most nastiest thing from the inside “management “ needs to Learn to value their employees because that’s what keeps their business open . People don't leave bad jobs... They leave because of bad bosses, poor management, who don't appreciate theirvalue. To be a good boss and manager it requires both fairness and bluntness and village market has clearly showed that they don’t have any of them .

This is what good management, the right people for the right job looks like . Great friendly courteous atmosphere everyone seems to take pride and job they're doing as you can see from overall look of the store. It s gorgeous clean functional warm and welcoming it's just a work of art honestly the staff and everyone that puts in what is obvious hard work and pride into the store keep up the good job you all are truly one of a kind. And we read in this I see I've used the word pride a lot but honestly I really couldn't use it enough it does shine through!!!!!!

It's very clean! Staff is not all so helpful though but that's perhaps because they're a bunch of kids working. I usually go here for there nice variety of produce and meats. Also in my opinion they make the best pizza in town that has that homemade taste. I like the laundromat they have next door too. I find myself hard to get change in hatch for some reason! And it's great that, probably the only place, it's has a cash to coin exchange machine.

I love this market. Friendly people especially the older gentleman that takes care of the produce. They even offer to help you out to your car. I'm totally blown away by the few one stars. I guess if they expect to meet people like themselves, they do.

The store itself is great but the worst department is the bakery, The Manger Maria is very rude, with customers and mistreats her employees.

We visited Village Market at their new location last week. The new store looks nice. The bathrooms stank bad, which is odd for new construction, tells a lot about the staff. Nobody working in the store greeted us or asked if we needed assistance. The cashier was indifferent and it seemed like we were an interruption to her day. After cashing out I took a step back to turn and go and I backed into a big store cart that was right behind me. The cashier hardly looked up and did not even inquire to see if I was ok. We will probably never return.

They must have a different cook. I purchased take out fried noodle and baby back ribs today. The noodle taste weird and really salty and dry. The ribs was bland and doesn't taste as good as it was before.

Love our local Village Market. The patio is huge. My daughter loves the deli Mac and cheese and the donuts. The new store is clean and very nice.

Poor management that doesn't informed rules evenly. Neglects to enforce the "covid mandates" to every employee and if one of the employees that they do enforce it on doesn't want to comply to the tyranny and blantet favoritism, then they are sent home without pay. Not lying, I will and can confirm it

Went looking in Hatch (the center of the chili universe) for local salsa to take home . No luck anywhere until we tried the Hatch Village Market. We immediately stumbled on the salsa shrine , shelves 10ft wide and 10ft high with only the local stuff. What to buy? We were asked if we needed help and we looked overwhelmed so they sent over their salsa sommelierand he proceeded to help us make decisions for over 15 minutes. He was very knowledgeable about them all, who made them, who jarred them etc, etc. A great experience and it made our stop in Hatch a success.

On our way home from Silver City, needed to pick up supper tonight, and this place had what we were looking for. Full grocery, deli and bakery. Appreciated the displays of John Deere and other vintage equipment.

RIGHT AFTER WE BUY OUR CHILES WE LOVE TO STOP BY AND PICK UP FRESH CHILE JAMS (VARIETY) AND MEXICAN TYPE FOODS. THEIR FRANCISITOS AND SWEET BREADS ARE YUMMY DELICIOUS!! VERY CLEAN ESTABLISHMENT INCLUDING THEIR REST ROOMS. FRIENDLY STAFF AS WELL!!
