Cool atmosphere! Self order and pick up style.(no pics of food. Had pulled pork sandwich/ potato wedges in a basket..Was Eh and I would say overpriced by at least $2.00). Noticed Lots of little signs for self serve. Like no straws, drinks this way, etc..Atmosphere was amazing. Lots to look at while you eat. Men’s bathroom clean. Solid 3 star experience. Cool place for hatch.

Enjoyed a James Beard Finalist Hatch Green Chile Cheese Burger. Cooked perfectly, medium rare, a generous beef patty, perfect amount of Hatch Green Chile, slice of cheese and a soft bun that was designed for the burger. Excellent!! Pineapple slaw was sweet, and crunchy.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families enjoying their meals. Spacious family centered seating. Fun collectables to enjoy.

The wait doesn't disappoint! What all the other people said about this being the best burger is true, but you will have to wait in line to get one... Or call ahead and order to go. The atmosphere is a pure Route 66 nostalgia trip, so be sure to check out the inside before you leave!Took us 1 hour from getting in line to leaving, so expect that as a minimum. Food is served fairly quickly once you order. Got the green chili sweet corn side and just yum! Burger was wonderful without sides.

The green chile cheeseburger is out of this world delicious! I had a smothered burger this visit and it was *chef's kiss* perfection! The atmosphere is fun and kitschy - the place is decorated with all kinds of fast food memorabilia. Plenty of seating indoors and there's a great patio out back. The restrooms are limited, so I'd suggest taking care of business elsewhere. It's a stop I'll make in Hatch, NM, anytime I can!

This place is awesome... food is off the chart.. burger itself melted in my mouth extra chile made it even better... seasoned steak fries sausage bites just sent everything over the edge.. place you need to stop at in Hatch NM.. . What a great place to hang out. The place is lively and fun, and there certainly is a lot to look at.We had the green chilies cheeseburger, absolutely fabulous! I can't recommend this enough. I'm not someone who usually orders a burger when going out to eat, but this burger, I'd definitely have it again.

We stayed a week in Hatch, NM, by staying at the RV park. The hours for Sparkys are awful. We wanted to go on Monday and they were closed. We wanted to go for dinner on Thursday and they were closed at 5:30 pm. We finally go for lunch, and the burgers were not that great. You can go to Valley Market and buy the contents for half the price. The chicken nuggets and fries were unseasoned. The line at the front was unnecessary and could easily be fixed. You can get a better burger at Isleta Casino Ember Seafood and Steak House. I was extremely disappointed and probably will not ever go back.

As Vincent Vega said in Pulp Fiction about Jack Rabbit Slims, it's like a wax museum with a pulse.We had a pulled sandwich and plate with the Chocolate and Green chile Ozzy shakes.The food was very good but the green chile in the shakes tasted freezer burnt, so we didn't finish them. I would still recommend checking it out.

Recommend by my colleague. I ordered brisket sandwiches and pineapple coleslaw instead of their famous green chili cheese burger as I couldn’t eat spicy food. I loved the both sandwich and coleslaw. My husband ordered same sandwich and French fry with queso cheese. It’s very good fries and queso had a great flavor, but too spicy for me. He loved it though. We visited Thursday afternoon. There was no long wait. The service was excellent. We will be back again.

Josie and Tico are among the VERY BEST DELIGHTFUL PEOPLE I have ever met! Their restaurant is certainly ONE OF A KIND, or simply OUT OF THIS WORLD! 🌎 People from all over the country or world come to taste their WORLD FAMOUS GREEN CHILE CHEESEBURGER 🍔 😋 which definitely doesn't disappoint! Among the finest and very best burgers I have eaten while listening to the Blues. They have live music on Saturdays and Sunday events. Don't forget to buy a Sparky's Souvenir T-shirt to show your Sparky's Hatch Pride!

Lunch stop, passing through Hatch 12/3/23. This place is fun, 'whimsical' pieces on the walls take you back to another time, or before your time... Double green chile burger was exactly what I hoped for: juicy (yes, greasy), and delicious! The thick seasoned fries are also just how I like 'em--not those wimpy shoe-strings. If you use the men's room, get a chuckle from the sign on the back wall (see photo). Giving only 3 stars for service, only because there's minimal service: you order at the counter, then go pick up your food at another counter when it's ready. While you wait, enjoy staring at the walls & ceiling... seriously.

*DEFINITELY RECOMMEND **10/23:Had to stop to see what was going on in Sparky's because there's always a lot of cars, a long line or people walking towards the building every time I'm driving through Hatch.I found out for sure! These burgers taste like a well seasoned melt in your mouth backyard, charbroiled style burger.Lawd Have Mercy!!!! It was yummy.. I ordered 1 plain cheeseburger combo and 1 green chile cheeseburger combo. The potatoes were hearty, but the burger is what does the stomach a few favors. Meat patties are not small/ thin. No garnish on my burger, but there is a place near the drink station to spruce up the burger if you'd like.Please give them a try! Happy Eating...

We had a group of 22 and they accommodated us wonderfully. We called in our order to save time and somehow we missed a burger. They made sure everything was correct and didn't charge us for what was probably our mistake! The food was great, and the service was awesome. Great spot to check out when you're in the south. For the best Green Chile cheese burger in the State of New Mexico, Sparky's by far is the best. Even a 3 hour drive from Albuquerque to Hatch will not disappoint rewarding you with the best burger you will ever have. And to top that off, the shakes are incredible. Once you try Sparky's, be warned, you will be craving that burger and shake very soon. Get ready to come back soon.Parking: Sparky's has a lot of parking, so no worries. Just drive to Hatch NM and you know you can just park.

This place is a hidden gem! If you're driving by Hatch it's easily worth the stop, even if it's crowded. I've been a few times, everything is good, but especially the green chile cheeseburger. The atmosphere is really fun, they've got all kinds of old statues around and oftentimes have live bands perform in the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and stop here sometime!
