Omg.....loved it, chili rellenos amazing, tamales were fabulous even without the sauce, homemade chips and hatch hot stuff salsa-very hot btw, yum!! Would definitely recommend and revisit! Food tastes like what I grew up on, so it’s very authentic!! Buying the hot stuff salsa to share at Christmas!!!!

Visited this place during a road trip. I had to stop in town and try a dish made with some world famous hatch Chile peppers. This place didn't disappoint. It has a comfortingly authentic atmosphere. I enjoyed looking at the art decorating their walls, which by the way is all for sale. The restaurant is also connected to a gift shop which we explored while waiting for our meal.We sat down and were served some chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh and had an intensely delicious kick. While looking over the various options on the menu I couldn't quite decide on what to get. Thankfully, my server suggested getting a combo plate. I tried the red sauce enchilada, Chile relleño, and a home made tamale. My favorite was the Chile relleño. It was sweet savory cheesy goodness. The red hatch sauce on the enchilada was sweet with medium heat. My girlfriend's favorite item was the beans. She commended the place on them. She loved their simple, yet satisfying approach to their flavor.Anyways, if you're strolling through town and need some Hatch Chile chow I recommend checking this place out. It's one of the few places open after 3pm and thankfully a good one.

Note - This place no longer has a restaurant but it’s a great fun gift shop. The woman inside was so nice. She directed me to another place where I could have lunch. She directed me to Hatch Corner Ice Cream across from them. This place isn’t even on Google. I had fabulous carne asada street tacos with a very spicy salsa and guacamole and a limeade that rocked.

We stopped here on our way to Santa Fe and really enjoyed our chile relleno plates. The salsa and chips were so good that we ended up buying some in their gift shop to enjoy while in Santa Fe. Will definitely be stopping on our way back through Hatch. We also got a metal flower pot for our home.

It's an awesome place! If you enter through the gift shop section, they have some cool souvenirs and stuff for you to check out. Through that entrance, you find the restaurant to your left. It's definitely the best food I've had for the price. If you get the California burrito, it's such a huge burrito, and it's the best I've had!! Definitely would recommend this place. Their tacos are really good, too. So are their tortas.

The aroma of this place had my mouth watering. So disappointed. After waiting 15 minutes to be acknowledged, then seated, had to wait another 12 minutes to have our order taken. I already wanted to leave, but my husband talked me into staying. Ok so our order is taken, we all decided on water because with traveling, we'd had enough soda. Another 18 minutes and we had to ask for our water. I understand, people get overwhelmed, 45 minutes for a glass of water. I was still hopeful, needed my green chile fix. The green chile cheeseburger when it did come out was dry.... And had no green chiles on it. 🤦 the young lady brought out a little cup of chopped chiles which I poured on my burger. The only good thing I have to say is their chips and salsa were awesome. Which we got just after the water. I hope it was just an off day.😨

My family and I stopped by today to have breakfast. First time eating here. Must I say they food was great!! I has the huevo rancheros xmas style. Brought me back when I was boy, my grandfather would make them for us before we hit the ranch! The food was so good I wanted to go back in time and have it again, but I couldn't so I ordered another plate. The service was awesome, atmosphere was freaked cool and the smell of fresh smell of green Chile roasting was excellent. Stop here and get treated like family, go anywhere else get treated like a number. Good Job Hot Stuff!!

the homemade chips and salsa were excellent, the french fries perfect, I have to say the burger was quite overdone though. But overall I would highly recommend it. The green chili was pretty blazing hot so I would recommend ordering it on the side unless you're prepared for fire.

Great enchilada’s verde! We ate here back in august and I really don’t understand any of the one and two star reviews. Service was fine, People there were friendly and the food was fantastic.. it’s a 4 hour drive from where I live and I’ve been sitting here actually thinking about driving there just for the enchiladas! Instead I wrote this review and I’m preparing to make some deliveries for my families own restaurant. I will continue to daydream about enchiladas verdes.

I loved this place - the quiet, the calm, the family who own & run it, the familiar but somehow surprising gifts in the store (great blankets & the excellent house salsa), & my favorite, the food: traditional Mexican dishes done with care & personal style. Try the gorditas, so good. This is a fun, delicious place, I'll be back.

The food was amazing. The soup had the freshest, most delicious vegetables, and was one of the best soups that I’ve ever had. Their red chile beef was delicious, and was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was extremely funny and nice.

The friendly staff and flavorful food is the reason we stopped in Hatch. The Barbacoa tacos are the best I’ve ever had. House made chips and salsa can’t be beat. Loved every bite

Great real Mexican food. Our waiter was wonderful. We spend the winter in Elephant Butte about 40 miles away, well worth the drive. We will be back at least monthly

I got caught in a summer thunderstorm while passing through New Mexico. I decided to stop in Hatch to let the storm pass and have some world-famous chiles. This restaurant was a good choice.I arrived about 20 mins before closing, but staff welcomed me in. The main dining area was already cleaned and packed away but there were still some booths open near the entryway where a few families were eating.I had the chiles relleños and a coke for about $8. It came with two delicious chiles, beans, rice, salad, chips, and salsa. Good service, good food, and great value.I will definitely stop here again next time I am passing through Hatch.

This place had good reviews, so we went. It was horrible! The service was horrible, and we were told they ran out of their salsa, but we could have the “other” one , which was rotten .. noticeably, when I asked to not pay for thus salsa , the waitress said she took it off the bill, however when I received the ticket she had lied , also charged us for an extra drink. Don’t waste your money on “good reviews “

Quick stop at one of the only open restaurants on a Tuesday, turned out Great! Very nice customer service to a traveler just looking for some good Mexican foodServing size of food was a good proportion and they were very thoughtful in providing us with all the fixings needed on the road. Thank you!

Good food and service. Everything is made to order. House chips looked homemade and the salsa was good, albeit spicy. Order the agua fresca if you want a refreshing drink. It has the feel of a roadside diner inside, good food and no frills.

Staff was extremely friendly and food arrived quickly (not very busy during my visit). The green chili con carne and the chicken enchiladas tasted homemade with generous proportions. Worth a stop.

The chicharon burrito was soggy pork fat soaked in green Chile sauce. Nothing deep fried about it. Asked for a breakfast burrito instead they charged us for both burritos. The Chicharon had 2 small bites taken from it. My friend got the breakfast skillet also not very impressive. Very disappointed with this place won't be back .

I had the chicken enchiladas. While the chicken itself was good, the enchiladas tasted like they were out of a Good Housekeeping recipe made from Campbell's soup. Not at all authentic.

Amazing food. The real deal and plenty of kick. I had carnitas tacos and my husband had Tamales. Geez were the best tamales I’ve had since we were in Arizona many years ago.

Enjoyed the gift shop. Didn't eat there. Most stuff they sell is made in Mexico. Several other similar gift shops around. Loved the smell of roasted peppers!
