Horrible customer service from Twila. I was picking up an online order and she refused me at first. Until I had asked for a manager. She called Elias from receiving. He stated he would work on it and bring it to the front in 30 minutes. I was okay with that and waited. 30 minutes past, I went back to customer service. Twila seen me and did not respond, until I was on the phone with my husband letting him know she has not spoke to me & it's likely not ready. Twila told me i needed to call the store and tell me how to do their job. The had the most unprofessional attitude I've experienced at Home Depot; especially when my daughter was beside me. I also let her know the attitude was unnecessary, but was mocked from it. I also let her know I was not there to have conflict, but only to pick up my item. She or Elias didn't seem to care at all. This really hurt my experience with Home Depot. I will reconsider purchasing anything from this store because of this. I presented 1 star, due to the night manager able to help without attitude. Loading my item into my truck in 15 minutes. Apologizing and making the picking up an order right. I appreciate his effort, work and time.

Cashiers at the pro desk and pick up desk need to keep their personal matters to themselves.I don’t want to hear you guys venting to one another or over hearing your gossip about other employees. Show emotional intelligence and do it on your own time when y’all aren’t dealing with customers.

If you’re the type of person that doesn’t like to be overwhelmed by associates and do the shopping by yourself, this is the place. If not then you’re pretty much on your own to get help. The last few times we came here we had to help other customers with items, my dad is a handyman and he gave more help and advice to customers than the workers. Every time I come here workers are always chatting away in the corners of the store and laughing. Me and my dad had to help a nice worker with linoleum flooring because her partner in that department bailed and we had to wait a good 15 minutes to have another worker help. The painting department couldn’t be any more rude. Hire more knowledgeable workers or at least offer more training to employees because they know nothing, only a few know what they’re talking about. Whoever is in the management department do better!

Just stopped in to pick up a brass fitting.The store was in the best shape I have seen in a home depot.Clean, shelves were well stocked not over stocked.Cashier was very pleasant. Kiddos to the managers and floor personell.Other stores should look at this store.Sorry bout the caps oops.lol.

Purchased a very pricey, whirlpool washer that could not be delivered to Fort defiance (30 miles away). They charged $29 for the washer to be delivered to the store, because they keep nothing in stock. The icing on the cake, was not qualifying for the veterans discount because it was a "special order"--after spending tens of thousands at HD over the years. This community deserves better. It is screaming for a Lowe's to be built next door.

Wondered around the store for an hour. Walked all the isles, getting ideas for home Improvements and repairs. Wasn't greeted or offered any help, but that's just the culture in Gallup. No smiling allowed in Gallup. None. Other than that, great selection!! Came in for herbacide, got some concentrate, gonna spray it thick on these Rez weeds, see if it works. Ortho and Roundup!!?? Rez weeds just laugh at it and grow 3 times faster and thicker. I'll update next week.

Tristan in Lumber was very helpful and kind young man. Me and family were gathering materials for a loved one we lost. He made the process for gathering and cutting materials so much easier for my family as were are going through a hard time.Ashinééh Tristan in Lumber ❤️

Nearly every customer service encounter at this store is aweful. Either you aren't acknowledged at all or treated as if you are wasting the employee's time. Nearly every employee acts as if they hate their job, especially at the customer service desk. I think the only place I've had decent service at is the paint center. Ordering online for pickup is a waste of time, unless you enjoy being talked down to by the women at customer service and standing in line for 20 minutes.

Very disappointed in this home Depot many of the employees I have encountered act like they're right out of prison with their chests all puffed out calling you bro and not willing to help you in any way. I Always check the website before going to the store to make sure they have sufficient stock and then when you can't locate it in the store the employees are quick to tell you we don't have it then you have to find a manager so he can scan the item and locate where it has been placed in the store and find a team member that's willing to do some work even though Albuquerque is farther away I think I'll go to that store instead of Gallup or maybe I'll just order online and have it shipped so on my home better than being threatened by employees at the store

Better pricing than some places in Gallup but they constantly mislabel their boards and pricing.... the 2x4's they claim are $3 something are actually 1 1/2 x 2 1/2.. I've asked for the 2x4s for the price its labeled as but they ignore me and tell me it's over the correct boards..it's a sham..they won't even change the sign and people have been buying the wrong boards at the wrong price for over six months with no corrections

Worse customer service ever at this store. Hard to find help when you need it and when you do FIND an associate, you'll be told "this isn't my department," or they'll send someone to help you and walk off. You wait and wait and nobody comes, an endless cycle looking for assistance. Most of the the associates need customer etiquette.

I went in for a handrail bracket and asked a clerk where they were. Two other associates joined in the conversation. They told me aisle 11 but they don’t usually stock them. I didn’t find anything on aisle 11. I went to my car, which has internet and searched myself. They had 15 in stock on aisle 10. Not one of those ladies made an effort to help me but we’re just giggling away with all the other associates when I went back in. None of them were attending to any customers because they were too busy playing around. So disappointed.

Paid for and scheduled a delivery, which depot canceled and delayed for 4 days.They don't apologize, they don't offer to compensate for my workers standing around with no materials, they just don't care.Since I usually enjoy at least fairly good service at other depots, I'm forced to believe that the management at the gallup depot is either incompetent or just plain liars.

Thank you to the person who works plumbing department. I hit a snag when installing a faucet. He helped diagnose the problem and came up with the solution. He educated me on PEX-A and walked me through the remainder of my install. With his guidance I was able to complete the install.

Customer experience needs improvement. Instead of offering help, I was chased out of the aisle to make room for a forklift and no one directed me to find a shower valve, I was pointed to the wrong aisle.

Don’t understand why these employees have jobs but to just stand around. Tried asking for help they act like they know what they’re doing but just take off & never return. Don’t get me started on the rudeness & unprofessionalism from the loading crew. Never buying here anymore. Spent thousands of dollars today with no help from the employees in the future I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Spent almost 2 hours getting the run around trying to order paint. No fault to the new guy working the paint section the whole time I see a women employee chatting with other employees flirting come to find out she was the supervisor for the paint section. When she decided to lend a helping hand she gave nothing but attitude the whole time. We spoke to 10 Home Depot employees who all Attempted to assist us all of them responded that it wasn’t their area and they will go find a person to help. The pro desk was not help as well. Home Depot should also remove the military discount banner at the entrance I was told they do or offer a military discount.

Went into the Gallup N.M Home Depot store to buy a replacement sink and counter. Looked for someone to ask about counter top. Passed a gentleman sitting at a desk on his phone speaking aloud about help everyone just kind of ignored me and my son. I finally approached the man sitting at the desk told him I needed kitchen counter and asked if they could cut the counter top and cut out the hole for the sink, he replied "no" and walked away. Customer service needs to be reiterated to employees. We left the store and headed over to Gallup lumber and Ace Hardwear, they helped us with everything we needed and gave us a phone number of a person who can cut our counter and help with the sink. Thank You Gallup Lumber for helping me and my family!!.

I love the Gallup Home Depot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would like to personally thank Nicolette Garcia in the garden department. I lost my phone in the Home Depot when I was shopping there last month and she was so nice. I gave her my phone number and she called my phone while I was looking for it until I found it. She went above and beyond to help me. I hope the Home Depot in Gallup will recognize her for her good deed.

Website inventory is not accurate neither is customer service. If you are traveling 50-100 miles for an item better keep this in mind. You cannot trust the inventory. Was told there were 17 2w wheelbarrows in stock website showed the same. I get there an hour later and there is none. Wasting your time.. THATS the power of the home chepo.
