I love this store especially their cakes. It's great to know that they customized cakes based on your desire. I've been ordering cakes every time here since one of our friend recommended it. Just today, I'm not that satisfied with the writing on the cake that I've order so that's why it's only 4 stars T&R. But overall, you're all doin good! Staffs and store. Good job!

Propane dept needs to be certified ...had my 20 lbs refill on Sunday Jan 7th 2024.. .and come to damage the valve..due to over fill...had to take the bottle to Gallup propane still full of propane has to be empty out and repalce a new valve by a professional tech...due to unprofessional wrk by TandR propane.....

1 star because Google says they are open til 10pm. They are absolutely NOT open til 10, they are open til 9pm. I wonder how many years this error has gone uncorrected when it takes 4.5 seconds to correct it.

Always my last stop for mutton or head, groceries, an neat enclose gift packs. My chei hot stop for groceries in the orginal T& R, now the clothing marketing an animals supplies and etc.

We bought fully cooked ribs from T&R. It looked & smelled delicious. Lady behind meat counter said enjoy. We were cutting it up and lo n behold raw center still bleeding. Picture is worth a thousand words. Who also had this happen to you?

I am very disappointed on the bakery. I came from Grants, NM because of how beautiful the cakes they advertised. I called on September 11, 2023 to order a Roblox Birthday cake for my son, I spoke to a young lady and gave details on what I wanted. Which was an edible Roblox cake topper, round cake, red trimming, Happy Birthday wording. We discussed over phone and email, and was told that they needed a week advance to make the cake. This cake was to be ready on September 22, 2023. When we arrived to pick up the cake I was told there was miss communication and my son’s birthday cake was made last weekend and was sold. The lady told me she can make the cake under 20 minutes. She showed me the email that was sent on the 11th of September, along with the edible topper. I waited for 20 minutes and the cake was NOT what I expected it to be. The topper was faded and obviously you can tell it was rushed. I was charged for full price $24.99 and $10.00. I am very disappointed and not satisfied with the bakery. I will not be ordering from them again. The bakery is false advertisement. What good is it to place an order in a week advance with someone taking there time detailing a cake than it to be made in 20 minutes. I was better off purchasing a cake behind the glass. I expected better from this place especially with this being such a big community store.

Looks great coming in but I would never buy your meat products from here. Why? Well, I went there to buy mutton. The guy that helped me was arranging the meat products (where customers get the packaged meat). He used the same gloves to get the mutton meat I wanted. I asked him if he changed his gloves! He said, "no." 👀😫 .Some people don't wash their hands but you're handling raw food. Look up norivirus.Then, decide if you want to buy your meat products from here. If they package meat there, imagine what happens in the back room (where you can't see). 🤮

I ordered our daughters sweet sixteen birthday cake from T and R and I was not disappointed. I told the lady who took my order to design it appropriately with the colors I chose . I picked it up the following day and it was beautiful!! My family took photos of it and it made this milestone that much special. Thank you T and R for employing talented designers! I highly recommend them to friends and family

I was trying to order a graduation cake, and they told me they only do basket design... but I saw on a review that they did a different design for a wedding cake, so why couldn't they do the design I wanted for my cake... are too lazy to do it, they shouldn't call themselves a bakery... it's there job

Ordered my wedding cake from here and Tommy and Rochelle were easy to work with! Even in the result of me having to post pone the order. Our cake was delicious and well made. We didn't even have leftovers to take home lol the cake topper and flowers were put on ourselves.

I used to love shopping here. Because cashiers were nice and for the overall customer experience.That all went down hill once they installed them self check out stations.Since no one wants to work anymore I order online now. Pick up my order now at Walmart.And I get my meat at Albertsons now. Since they never make me use self check out.

The meat department staff is always helpful and nice. Also very clean, organized store and only place I get fresh cut mutton. We usually visit every other month and it's about the same every time, we like it! I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for mutton and prices are fair!

Ordered a Birthday Cake sent my cousin to pick up, she didn’t know it was supposed to be a certain cake. When she showed up to the Birthday it wasn’t the cake my daughter wanted!!! Thanks for ruining a Birthday and not only that they messed up another ladies cake from here!!!! So you guys messed up 2 Birthdays today!!!! I tried calling repeatedly no answer!!!!!! The bakery did an amazing job for a birthday cake. All I did was send in a picture of what I wanted on the cake and they were able to print the picture out on an edible sheet which was great because even Walmart couldn’t do that. Then they created the cake to the exact specifications I wanted. The cake was ready for the time needed and I didn’t need to order in such a drastic advance time (like other bakery stores that ask for 3-4 weeks in advance). They were professional and nice and they even take and communicate their orders through email which was convenient for people with busy schedules and another thing Walmart in Gallup doesn’t do. Definitely be ordering from them again.

I was up on the Navajo reservation visiting my grandparents and I went to this place to do my taxes. Unfortunately I suffered a coma and memory loss. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks. I’ve called and called so many times and no one has called me. The IRS website states it’s been done and sent but cannot get a hold of someone. Very disappointed.

Do not cash your Economic Stimulus Check with them. They charge 5 percent of the total. We filed our taxes with them and received a check within their company with their store account but they still wanted to charge us the 5 percent check cashing fee for our Stimulus Check. Which is 450 dollars in fees. It is their own check from their company which the IRS deposited into their account because we filed with them and they still requested a fee. Their excuse was its not their money so they have to charge. How is it not their money when the deposit was made into their account. Major Banks do not charge a fee if it was issued by the same company. Yet T & R charges a fee. On the phone they said they cash their own checks free of charge but in person they said no. All too Greedy and how many Natives did they steal from. Shame on them!!!

The employee's within the Pawn Shop are extremely rude and disrespectful. If you believe in, "The Consumer is Always Right," then sadly- this isn't the place to be. The cashier are very sarcastic, and impatient. Pawn or not- how can you trust the establishment with your valueable items? One of the cashier was unfriendly when communicating with seniors. I would recommend to be wise when coming.

Bought cooked lamb, was very disappointed. We or I traveled about 6 hrs, granted I had some personal business to attend to in area ( Window Rock), stopped in to purchase a rack of cooked lamb for my family because it's a treat for us, but when I returned home and invited my kiddos over to eat, sadly it was pure fat, was maybe only a very small sliver of meat, I paid good money for it and I will not be recommending this place to friends and family in future. Question, do they deep fry their meat, if so that's aweful, it looks like they do. Anywho, so very disappointed!!!!!

This place is a hidden Jen and has one of the best little trading posts inside filled with jewelry and other native crafts and trades. I got a beautiful hand made turquoise bracelet here a few years ago and my mom got one as well. Love stopping here on my way through.

My mom bought a sheep yesterday from there. The Meat had green fluid coming out and smelled very bad along with some bruises. Called the store and was told they couldn't do anything about it in a very rude manner. Reccomend checking the sheep all the way around before buying.
