felt like i waited too long, and it seemed a little understaffed during the busy times. very small spaced for the workers and customers. Id honestly stick to just ordered ice cream there... hot dog or chili taste like it was sitting too long (got stomach pain later) and i brought 2 pretzels but only served me one small cup of cheese which was odd...

Great location. Quick friendly service. The Peanut Buster Parfait with strawberry syrup is grant. Would recommend this location. Take Out Only yet worth the stop.

2.5 to be exact. Let's just say the service in this place is like flipping a coin. I go back because this is the only...THEEE ONLY Dairy Queen in Gallup, NM. Customer service has decreased tremendously during the pandemic. No one really gives a mmmmm anymore.I only go when this particular lady is not there. If I see her, I back up and drive off. This lady uses her hands when touching the bananas, not the peel, the actual banana! She didn't even wash her hands. 🤢 Gloves should be worn when you handling food or wash your hands. 😩 I even seen her lick her fingers.Service is quick but be ready to order or they yell at you. 😂 Remember folks, you are they money that drives a business.

Why they have no lids for the slush or misty??? The employee could just have me a different lid. And if the store was all out. At least put up a sign. We all have to drive at some point.

I would rather come here than wait 30mins to an hour at Baskin Robbins for ice cream. On the plus side the staff here is friendly and the ice cream is better with more options. 😊👍👍😋

It was busy. I ordered a cherry dipped cone and a smoothie. The customers, however, were very rude to the workers but they did a very great job keeping their composer. 🙂

Wife and I stopped in for a quick snack while on the road. The food was raw. With us on the road, there was little we could do about it.Probably the last time I get food from a dairy queen.

Always go to get some good ice cream like blizzards and banana splits. We need more Dairy Queen in New Mexico: Bernalillo Albuquerque and Rio Rancho and Belen also Los Lunas. The only place we go is on Southern Blvd and near Unser is where we go all the time.

Products are 5 stars but 2 stars for staff and service! Dairy Queen is the best but franchises in Gallup just disappoint. The workers were rude as soon as I walked in and hounded restrictions before a Welcome. It was my kids birthday and I just wanted them to see for themselves but they were quick to send them away. My banana split didn't have a lid and had a wet bottom which made it slip. No refund or apologies. Was yelled at for asking for napkins because they were running lot. Just terrible service. I'd rather drive to the next town!!

We didn't have the food, which I'm sure was fine, but the staff was incredibly rude to my wife.We'd been on the road for over five hours, three states away from home, and we were already late getting dinner (a baby will do that to you). My wife really wanted a Dairy Queen blizzard.All that said, they refused to serve us because we didn't have masks due to the "mandate." Okay, fine, but don't be rude about it. Incidentally, it took them longer to tell us they wouldn't serve us than actually serving us would have taken.It doesn't matter how you feel about the masks - being a rude person because you think you have the perceived power to do so is extremely tiresome.

Been traveling all day and stopped to grab the kids a quick dinner. They rudely refused service because they didn't have masks on. I asked for some so we could at least order food and they refused this as well. Very rude staff at this location, and not having masks on hand to offer those who do not have any is not appropriate.

Lady behind the counter was extremely rude to my 10 year old son. So much so that another employee apologized to him and my daughter. Ridiculous. All because he asked for extra chocolate. He paid for it!

Finally have the 2 for $4 deal. Small place but makes the stop worth it. Miss the dairy queen on the north side as you exit Gallup. No food menu just small items like chili dogs and chicken salad for example.

We stopped because we saw a sign that said free cones for March 21st. We went in and asked for two free cones, but the lady waiting on us said you have to donate to get your free cone. Rudely said I might add. First of all that's not what your sign said. I don't mind donating to a good cause, so Dairy Queen put that on your sign! For a small donation, receive a free cone. As far as I'm concerned, this was false advertising.

We ate there yesterday...I didn't know they were not using gloves... The white lady I think was the manager was touching the money and making ice cream cones....and I didn't see her wash her hands . I told my family don't eat it...we just trash it...I know I wouldn't get my money back..... But I'm not taking a chance if there not practicing safety precaution...

The only DQ left in my hometown......small but awesome. We try and make a stop here every time for my kids. My husband loves the Orange Julias. Sad that they closed the other DQ on the northside, yet at the same time I'm glad that one remains open.

We always love DQ, but this location doesn't have any seating area restrooms if needed. I know that each location is a franchise, but the prices they charge seems to be higher than another location we go to. Thanks for keeping to the original recipe.

We were standing outside to get inside the store..social distancing and the store employee came out and told us we would be the last customers. When we got in the store, the manager had already turned off the ice cream machine. Several customers were ahead of us. She said well, you can buy other stuff, Dilly bars. If I could give them 0 stars I would. VERY BAD SERVICE, HER OWN EMPLOYEE TOLD HER THERE WERE PEOPLE STILL WAITING.

I come for the ice cream and try to ignore the employees salty attitude. Don't know if it's a short staff situation, or what, but don't expect anything more than a grumpy "please come again" after the transaction.
