Truly, I came in skeptical because I've had some great green chile cheeseburgers all over this wonderful state and others as well. This place does not disappoint. It is certainly, immediately, in my top five - and it is delicious. Also had an ice cream cone, which made me feel very nostalgic for when I was a kid and my parents used to take me to the ice cream shop. Service is top notch. Worth the stop. 👍

This little mom-n-pop restaurant is just awesome. No joke - I had the best green chile cheeseburger in my life here. The owners are super sweet. It's absolutely worth the drive to Papa Joe's if you anywhere even vaguely nearby. I am looking forward to my next visit!

Great place for a terrific ice cream cone for $1.50. Go there regularly. Nice people. If you are traveling from Abiquiu to Cuba nm on 96 you should stop there.

I love this place...True story...First time I came in was with Edith. She was a nice woman I took care of . She was blind, but since she grew up in Cuba, she was quite familiar with everything for 50 miles around . Anyways, she wanted Papa Joe's real bad one day and so, we went for lunch. As soon as we walked in I could tell they knew each other quite well because the owner asked us if we were hungry . Edith said we sure are . Then he says, "Well you should have stayed home and cooked". Yup, love this place. And the owner is a crack up.

We love this place.Have known the owners for ever.P.j.makes the best green chili cheese burgers in the world.Might b a small dinner but it has out of this world food.Larry & Lidia have the the best little hole in the wall in the state of New Mexico.
