Great experience. I had a deer processed there and picked it up yesterday. They are extremely nice, explain everything thoroughly when placing your order, and you get what you pay for. The summer sausage so far is excellent. I cannot wait to try the rest of it. I highly recommend them and hope to do future business with them (elk, deer again, etc.)

We've been using Fort Sumner Processing four our grass-fed direct-market beef for 15 years now (spring and fall) and have always been very happy with their excellent service. The place is clean and nice, and the people are nice helpful and friendly. They run it professionally and have always provided us with great service. Our customes are very happy with the cuts and packaging of their meat. I highly recommend them for your processing needs. Just book a long time in advance as they are usually booked for a year!

Not very happy with how our half beef was processed.I told them that we wanted the most amount of ribs out of our half and we only got 4 small packs of short ribs…seriously the smallest ribs I have ever seen.I asked for the brisket to be left in one whole piece, because we smoke the entire thing, but they cut it in half. This is very disappointing and not ideal, since it’s about an $80 cut of meat.I asked for the least amount of ground beef possible. We got about 316lbs of beef total and over half of that is ground beef.Very disappointing, especially for the price that they charge. Definitely won’t be doing business with them again.

Great prices, multi products, very good service!! Stopped to get dog bones, but when I saw the low prices on steaks, and other meat...couldn't afford not to buy. If you're going to see Billy the Kid museum, stop by, Mon -Fri, 8:30- 4:00 (?, might be 8:00- 4:30)

Fantastic place for wild game processing. I've taken an elk, oryx, and deer there and they have always done an excellent job and great turn around. Super clean store and friendly employees.

Easily the best cuts of steaks and sausages I've ever had. Everything here is extremely fresh and flavorful. Their selection of different cuts of beef, sausages, pork, chicken, etc, is fantastic!They will do as much or as little as you want. From about a pound of cut steaks to half a cow or a whole lamb if you'd like one.Finally everyone is extremely friendly and helpful.

Accompanied a friend who took a pig, and then was with her when she picked up the rendered pig. The owners are very nice and quaint. The price was ok, and the meat was good. The bacon was a bit salty, but still very good. I recommend this place for others needing animals processed.
