I’m not a happy long time customer! I ordered a rotary fly tying vise on 4/21/24 and I drove 2 hours to pick my online order and when I got to pick my order, they brought out was unacceptable. The vise did not come in its original seal packaging. It was delivered from another store, which they wrapped in literally trash. The vise looked used and I know when you buy anything new it come with paper work (manual, , accessories, warranty, etc), but what another Sportsman sent was probably a used and turned in by another unhappy customer. I took pictures of the packaging and the store manager at the Farmington NM store didn’t have an explanation or offer me any options. This is very concerning and disappointing. I was so upset that wrote to the SW customer service as soon as I left the store, which was within 5 mins, that’s how upset I was. It takes years to build a good customer relationship, but it only takes a few mins to lose a loyal customer.

In store is okay. Online is horrible! Says 1-4 days and been over a week. I ordered online and they have it in store and… can’t even pick it up! Makes us wait til it’s replaced on shelf. No other store does this! Never never order online. I’d rather spend few extra bucks and just buy it in person. No tracking number, est pick up time is long over due. I ordered it to pick it up same day…(like other stores do) again that was over a week ago! Already spoke to customer service, already gave opinion on customer service as well.Would just like the product I bought rather than see it on the shelf… collecting dust.

Literally not one single employee could answer one single question about backcountry or camping supplies. There was one of each item on the shelves and it literally looks like the place either just opened or is weeks away from going out of business. Despite all of the ads you see for this store saying how knowledgeable and informative the staff is, there was zero help and nobody even interested in getting the answers. I had to suggest to the staff that they ask if there is anybody else in the store that could help. Unfortunately there was not. For my first time to a sportsman Warehouse I was horrified and will never return. Don't waste your time here unless you're getting ammo or arrows, or you know exactly what you need and don't need help. Lol

It's usually easy. I generally order online, but the store is easy to find things in. The gun counter was difficult, and I never got a call back from the manager even though i called several times( I wasn't calling to complain. I just needed help, which i never got).

Another great experience at the Local Sportsman's Warehouse. I ordered a firearm from their website that needed to be shipped to the store, and I had it in my hands five days later (And that included a weekend). A great group working at the gun counter, too. Highly recommended!

Walked around that store for 45 minutes on Sunday. Not one single employee engaged me, asked if they could help, if I needed anything. Nothing, I walked by 6 or 7 employees looking lost, and every one of them seemed to be afraid to make eye contact so they wouldn't have to do anything. Don't complain because people buy their stuff on Amazon.

I would rate higher if the people at the gun counter would speak. I understand when you're busy and I understand the labor shortage, but it would be nice to know you are alive and know you have more customers.This is why I only buy firearms from East Main.

Stopped by Sportsman Warehouse in Farmington, NM today. None of the employees greeted me, or were willing to assist me. I informed an associate that was just standing there and she still didn't help me either. I asked her why they weren't helping the customers and she just shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know. I left right after. I can't believe how bad the customer service was today.

Found some awesome shirts..And kids got some toys. Pricey but they are real sturdy and doesn't fall apart like some others.The dried ice cream was delicious!I'm going to go back again soon to get more dried ice cream sandwiches. Thank You

I went into the store to buy a gun. Well also to get educated about guns.Brian took care of me. He informed me, educated me and served me well. His knowledge and willingness to help was great. His customer service skills are on point!Because of this wonderful experience, I won't shop anywhere else!

You're going to get so lost in this store, for hours. Browsing to your hearts content. I can't ever go in without getting sidetracked, every way I look there is something I want & am interested in learning about.Also, I would say that my knowledge of the items they carry is above average, well above.However, the staff are on top of their game and always provide super friendly, very informative help (now I'm not saying I've never come across an employee who clearly thinks they know it all while actually only knowing the basics) but for the most part the staff is at an expert level of knowledge. Which is nice, because if your simply browsing for something new or just want their opinion your going to have a good discussion.Also in terms of items they carry, well if you can think it, they have it. Honestly you should probably visit their website before visiting & plan out what your going to be going for. Because with the endless options you might end up missing items that you would of like to know that they had available but you just didn't see it.I come here personally for all my practice-ammo supplies(I do prefer other places for self-defense rounds)But I also get lots of other basic outdoor gear. And it's a store I never get sick of just stopping in on to browse for a bit.To sum all this upThis store;Amazing

If we could give a negative star we would. Sign said shorts were on sale. Get to register full price. Explanation “ it was for Columbia shirts”; Columbia shirts were on a differnt rack no where near the shorts I choose. Lying and deceptive advertising. Manager curled her lip and uttered snide remarks. Is this how Employee should treat their customers? I asked a simple question. And she snarled at me. Will not buy be buying into any clothing at this store. Way over priced and looks like Amazon will be getting our business. Bye sportsman will not miss you.

The old guy running the fishing department is rude, incompetent and should be fired. He clearly is upset he made poor life choices amd couldn't retire and has to work at a retail location in his 70's. Been a customer for 8 years and today was my last day ever shopping here. I will order exactly what i need online instead of trying to rummage through a poor selection of lures.

My fiance and my children grandchildren and myself went to the store my daughter lives nearby and swears it's one of her favorite places and it soon became ours as well. They have every kind of Gadget you can think of for camping they have smokers clothes and everything in between I could go back day after day and just shop highly recommend this place.

They made me make corrections on my application when purchasing a rifle. I've been buying firearms for decades, with the same address and place of residence and this place made the application look like a mess. These applications stay on record, all my applications should be identical and not be different with each purchase. I will not purchase another firearm from this place, besides the prices are a bit higher here. Other than the person in charge of paperwork everyone else was delightful.

I Been buying firearms,hunting, and fishing tackle from this place for sometime now. Almost my one stop shop for my outdoor needs. Stop by to purchase one of their firearms. They happen to change their policy to where the customer needs some form of physical address with your name on it to purchase a firearm? The sales associate didn't really know how to answer any of my questions. Any where else I never had no problems to purchase a firearm with just a drivers license. With that being said shop else where for your firearm needs. The local pawn shops and other gun shops in the 4 corners don't have this silly policy.

Always the place to go to look for ammo that's sold at a decent price for the times! They maintain that honest market for ammo when others try to price gouge! I always stop in when I can to stock up on ammo because they're decent when it comes to hard to find ammo

The fishing selection is terrible. The grunoy old man who only knows and cares about fly fishing despises bass fisherman. Refuses to do his job. Never shopping here again. Tackle warehouse orders online instead.

Surprisingly, for a smaller town, this Sportsman's Warehouse is a great place for outdoor supplies! Friendly service. A little disappointed in the stock of the fly fishing and fly tying inventory. This is one of a very few places to get fly fishing stuff so stop here before you hit the rivers.

This is 2017, I want into my local Branch and soon started talking with a gent that works the gun counter...turns out, while we were different branches of military, we served on the same base in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield. Wow! What a blast from the past! Back on topic...great store with military discount too!
