Rico- Store Manager likes to harass Native Americans and he thinks his privilege to park where the online order pick up is located. But chases other people off. Why is he privileged when others are not allowed to park there unless they have an online order. The African American lady thinks she needs to obligated to make rude remarks too, needs to know her remarks are not needed while on company time.

Empty, devoid of life shopping experience. Every single time. Every service outside of cashier is closed early or just nowhere to be found. One employee deadass made eye contact with us before proceeding to turn off the lights and close the department roughly half an hour early. Interesting to have a butcher dept closed / shut down w everything still sitting out on display / on the table (doesn’t seem sanitary to have meat out in the open all night)

I swear. I got off work, tired, and hungry. The lady denied me everything, she is old and on isle 5. She didn't feel comfortable selling me some food let alone the alcohol. These guys take their job so seriously. Sad 😢. I got money and I was just hungry getting off work..Update*** 4/28/24I want to give a MASSIVE shout-out to Judy, we had a great talk, she reminded me of my mom. Judy? I appreciate that talk we had. Thank you. We need more workers like you.

I purchased the 4 packages for$20.00 today, two packages of steak and two packages of pork. The pork is good but the beef was spoiled. I cooked it and it looked ok in the packaging however once cooked, it smelled spoiled. It's very disappointing.

I hit Safeway to use the Safeway for U coupons. I save tons on cat food, litter, cakes, 8 piece chicken. There's just a lot to get!

I bought a fresh coconut but when I opened at home, i found that it’s rotten. Tried to bring back the item for replacement but the salesman refused to replaced it even just within an hour that I bought it.

I always like shopping at this Safeway because the cashiers and security are always super friendly. I can't recall a time where I've ever had an upsetting experience.

I really want to like this store! It’s convenient, lines are never too long, but the negatives outweigh the positive pretty quickly. You’re either going to get an extremely nice staff member or a very rude employee. I shop there often enough that I’ve become familiar with rude ones and try to avoid their checkout stand if others are open. Lately, I’ve questioned the quality of their meat. It just doesn’t seem fresh before the expiration date. I will continue shopping here for things I might need on a whim, but I won’t be buying my meat from here anymore.

This store is not the same without the previous store manager. It’s 7am & whole store smells like cigarettes, not telling people they can’t smoke but why in the front of the store? Doors wide open, and there are always uniform employees, at least 3 to 4 , smoking every time I shop. One register open, long lines, due to the employees being outside smoking! Bad enough the deli or bakery is never stocked .. what happened to the sandwiches, or the hot food???& doesn’t anyone know how to face the store? Poor management/ staff & careless workers in my book. My business will not be at this store. PS; labels were not changed or did not reflect the scan price & was charged an extra .50 for a dozen brown egg $2.99 / charged $3.49. Petty but how many customers were charged extra?

I was passing through and stopped to get a few items for lunch, soda and water. After driving for 3 hrs my brother decided to stretch and take a bike ride. I decided to go geocaching for a while and meet back at Safeway. At 6pm my brother went in for food for supper. I went in to get liquor for a cocktail at the motel. The cashier took the bottle and stated she couldn't sell it to me. I was surprised and asked why? She said she was told I was already in the store that day. I was confused, I can't go in the store more than once and attempt to buy alcohol the same day? Very bizarre. Never in my 55 years have I been prohibited from legally purchasing alcohol. If I ever end up passing through Farmington in the future I'll avoid this store.

I went to Eastside Safeway to get my vaccination and in between a month that passed and went back to get my second shot it was a recall so it was raining so I was waiting for a ride security guard came and said what did I steal and he said I was drinking I was neither now I did people at Safeway either the people work there or the security says that other times kid and I was stealing they make their own rules still alive

I have shopped the west main Safeway Food store since it opened many, many years ago. I have always been treated with respect and they have have been very helpful when I need it. I shop the west main one because there is ample parking. I just like the west main store better because it is never as busy as the East main store and I usually know where everything I need is. Had a little trouble a few months back when everything was changed--now I see it made shopping much easier. The Manager is terrific and puts up with a lot of nonsense some of which I have witnessed. If there was a 10 star rating I would give it to them.

A much smaller store than the East location so stock is often limited. Prices seem higher than other grocery stores in town. Convenient location however. Staff watches you like a hawk when you are in the alcohol section and feels the need to call you out at the register when you make an alcohol purchase.

Store is awesome to pic up lunch. A real staple of the community. You will find a working staff and a humble attitude with the working people there. The only draw back is the high expectations of the yuppie transplants that show up at the store and expect lighting service.

Safeway awesome friendly service and clean. Less crowded and some products have great prices. If you like to be in less crowded place, try Safeway. I love to get the full chicken meal for great low price.

This place has the feel of a small - town store, but has just about everything you could want as far as groceries. Mostly nice people. It is a bit more pricey than Walmart. Better meat selection though!

Great place , nice staff , has a lot of products , and available for money services at most times, just need have cashier call for someone if no one's at desk , and they accept EBT , clean environment, with accessable areas for handicap as well, had an above acceptable experience, for your average shopper.

I've always liked Safeway it's such a relief from that wallyworld. Their pharmacy staff is the best, professional, courteous, and very friendly. Been going there for years and never a problem. Jenny and her crew are the best.

This Safeway consistently sells outdated, stale, and expired food. The other Safeway on the Eastside does not have this same problem. I would make sure to check the dates on products before you buy here.

We love getting there veggie an meat an cheese platter here on the west side Safeway. Was hoping there would be some. So I went an purchased there cheese, crackers an when it came to meat an chips they were all expired. So please take a look at the expiration date...

I liked that I wasn't limited on certain items I could freely walk around and buy what I needed and I got respected and appreciated for my service it was not like City market in Shiprock where u r limited on every item u purchase I didn't have to wear my face mask and I still felt safe. I wasn't being treated like a child.

Saw a gentleman who seemed down on his luck, plug in his electric scooter in one of the outside outlets and was pleased to see the security guard treat him with respect. We all need to practice being kind and understanding during this unprecedented time in our lives.

Found this Safeway accidentally, the workers are very helpful & friendly. Safeway carries a lot of items that some of the other grocery stores no longer have on their shelves.

I was working inventory here and the store is pleasant and seems pretty stocked. On my break I grabbed a snack and the checker was very nice. Great store, nothing bad for me to comment on.
