I had a terrible experience and will never go to this store again. I went to this store with my son to get some cheese I had forgotten. When I walked it, there was a bluetooth speaker in the middle of the store, loud enough where you could hear it throughout the store. When I started actually listening, because it was not music, it was a podcast. A podcast was playing throughout a FAMILY store talking about murder, blood, DNA testing, describing a crime scene. I quickly grabbed my stuff, paid, and ran out of the store... this was not something I wanted my child to hear! When I got home, I called and asked to speak to the manager. The woman who answered listened to my concern, especially with my child hearing this... however, she stated that "it happens in the world". I informed the "manager" its something my child shouldn't hear about in a store, let alone her place to tell me how I should raise my child. When I told her this, she stated "I'll tell the manager, oh wait that's me!" Due to the lack of professionalism, a selfish "manager", a dirty store, and lack of compassion, this store will not be getting any more business from me. Also, if you're a parent, I highly recommend you not ho into this store unless you want to hear your child asking about blood and murder because the "manager" feels the need to do the parenting for others.

Always happy with this store. Easy stop for milk & other food items. Also fun to look around, finding new items like great home accents! The staff is always so friendly & helpful. Parking is good.

Horrible service, lady accuse me of stealing, when I barely go to this store. Her excuse was they were they same age as us. Came out of now where I was just trying to buy groceries. Never again

It's against the law to have a child behind the counter giving cigarettes to an employee for a customer then to see this child open boxes with a box cuter and stocking I mean wow so wrong that the store manager allows this to happen and nothing is being done. What more can you expect to see when you go shopping in these family dollar stores is my question. Bad business all around

The minute i entered the store i was greeted by a store employee her name was Miranda. I asked her where 2 items i was looking for she took me to them.Love to get that kind of help.Customer service was great 5 stars for Miranda.

Staff is always so very helpful and super nice, only issue I have ever had was a VERY rude DM. As far as people upset about boxes in way, so for your luck, it was delivery day and they work very hard getting your products on the shelves for you, apparently you have never worked in a store!

My name is Antonio Otero, and I'm an Assistant Store Manager at the store, I just wanted to thank everyone for the great reviews. As for everyone else I'm sorry that you had an uneasy experience. We just got a new store a couple of months ago and were still trying to get our store back to its original glory. We're still having trouble getting are people scheduled at the right time, but rest assure, we are fixing that problem. I have a facebook page, just look for the blue flame skull. I would like any suggestions and like to continue to hear what you have to say. I would also like to note, that we are having issues with our restrooms. Also we are required to ask everyone who makes a purchase on tobacco, for I.D. I do look forward to your business and thank you for stopping by to see us. :D

Closest retail store to Elephant Butte Lake, NM State Park. About 2 minutes from park entrance. No other retail until Walmart, about 5-6 miles away.
