An absolutely wonderful breakfast or lunch experience, with a focus on making all their food with local grown, organic, farmer sourced food. The quality of the meal is incredible, and it is evident that all the ingredients are as fresh as it gets. An absolute must-stop if you want to try local produce and support a business that prides itself on being a powerful community member.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free and vegan options

All-around fantastic place for breakfast outdoors soaking up the southern light with views across towards the pueblo and the mountains behind. Definitely has a crunchy vibe with good, healthy food served with kindness and patience. If you have kids that need to get up from the table while they eat, the side area is perfect for that, no judgement, free to roam and come back to munch.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly

Unfortunately just meh! It’s a super cute place and has a great vibe, just the food was lackluster. Was a bit of a bummer also as we were sat at a table right by the door and asked to sit away from the door and there was only a 6-top and we were a party of 4. I get it in theory, but then 2 people and a child wound up getting the large table away from the door. The raspberry scone was lovely, but most of the rest of my breakfast was inedible as the toast was burned and one of my yolks was blown out so over done and not edible. Other toast completely disintegrated so bad bread day overall. My husband got the BLT which he said was lovely and the butternut squash soup was also nice and the bread roll was nice and soft. The service was fine, nothing wrong with it, just serving over done food. They gave us a slight discount for the over done meal which was nice. Maybe just an off day in the kitchen.

Obsessed with the Carrot CakeI had it on Tues. Today is Saturday. And I'm still thinking about this carrot cake. I got a chance to chat with the cafe's founder while at lunch and learned the carrots were just in from a local farm. Have this with the Mayan Hot Chocolate and trust you will be in a happy place. And remember to venture outside to take your new Insta profile pic - the mountain views here are incredible!!

Farmhouse Café is an excellent breakfast/lunch spot with a great selection of organic, healthy food that is sourced locally. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, especially for those with dietary restrictions! I went with the Bison Burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had!!Not only was the atmosphere inside super welcoming, but the view near the café is gorgeous as well with the nearby mountains and gallery. Highly recommend that you check the place out, MUST visit while in Taos!!Dietary restrictions: Wide range of options for people with dietary restrictions, really appreciated it!!

While exploring Taos, I came across this fantastic cafe and bakery. The staff made me feel welcomed. I ordered their chicken pot pie. It is homemade and hearty. It's just the best chicken pot pie I've ever had! I also had a chi latte, which is also their homemade recipe. Wow! it was perfect with the zucchini chocolate cake, especially during a cold day. I even took a croissant to go, yummy! Oh, and the view from my table was beautiful and relaxing.

Unbelievable. You absolutely will love and honor this impeccable bakery/breakfast restaurant.Admitted: I am a 72 year-old hippie. Eating a wonderful breakfast here and acknowledging the lovely ethic that this company sustains, I am in awe. Perfect food; perfect customer service; a heavenly environment; darn, is there any other places like this in America?

So lucky someone recommended this place to us. Such a great place. Outdoor seating was picturesque with a view of the mountains, art, pond and garden. Food was great. Great place to bring kids. My wife had lots of gluten free options to choose from. Definitely my favorite breakfast in Taos so far.Kid-friendliness: Parking was easy. So close to town. Great place for kids. Lots of gluten free options.

I absolutely ADORED this place. I arrived 15 mins before closing and my server was happy to take a lunch order - nothing was too much trouble, friendly and happy staff, my meal was really tasty, and the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing I didn't want to leave. I sat outside because it was so pleasant with the beautiful gardens and sound of the fountain in the nearby pond... I would come back here in a heartbeat and will be recommending it to everyone!

My husband and I really enjoyed the outdoor seating. We ate here almost everyday. The huevos rancheros were delicious. They were not the “traditional” kind but still AMAZING! For lunch we had the bison chili and Isaac burger. The chili was so good, honestly second best bison chili I’ve ever had. The burger was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the fries were *chef kiss* Oh and let me not forget the hot chocolate! I got the traditional one and it was perfect especially with the cold weather. Staff was very nice and helpful. No huevos rancheros pictures as we ate too fast.

Staff and management are spectacular and authentic.Ingredients are clean, free range eggs, many local, organic and gluten free options.Dining in or out (weather permitting) is pleasant.Although it’s just off the highway, the spectacular view in the opposite direction is sufficiently distracting.I’ve seen dozens of menus like this before, poorly executed, yet here, for a change, they actually know what they are doing. My palate told me I was in Encinitas, California 30 years ago when the ashrams could still make amazing food infused with love.

What a pleasant and quaint place! The food is fresh! The sourdough toast is excellent! The food came out so fast! The pancakes are pretty good. They are a little different tasting from flour pancakes. So be mindful of that when ordering. The location is in the center of the three buildings. Overland is on the right and a furniture store on the left. The price is reasonable for the food.

Local, organic, made with love is what we experienced! This is a very warm and inviting space, tucked away in the northern boarder of Taos, with beautiful mountain views and a forest of wind spinners to view. They display amazing artworks for purchase. They have a large selection of gluten free sweets in the fridge to buy. The Quiche of the Day was quite rich and tasty. So was the Mayan hot chocolate with coffee. An authentic place not to be missed for dining in Taos.

Waitress was very inattentive family member said something to her about not focusing on her customers wants and or needs she went crying to her boss only to run the family out without any service to the customer. Her lack of attention to this family they came into pay good money for their services and did not get the service they wanted not a very hood waitress if you have to ask the customer several times what they want after they told you what they wanted. Yikes not good.

Delicious food! I had the BLT with chèvre and avocado which was full of flavor. I had never had goat cheese before and it was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend had the Shepherd’s pie made vegan and he said it was really good also. Our waiter was super friendly and had great suggestions. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you are looking for food with fresh ingredients.

If I had to choose, I would pick my 5 star Taos breakfast place. (look for it) BUT I would definitely come back and try some more "stuff". The staff is definitely on "Taos time" and does not hustle but meanders. So make sure you have time for breakfast. The hot chocolate is awesome. I also enjoyed my pastry. The staff was friendly though. The views are great and the shopping is nice that you can walk to it. I thought the quiche was rather "thick" I prefer a european quiche. Light so I can buy and eat more (something to consider). Again, I would come back for lunch and I would come back for breakfast. I really don't think this is the BEST though I think it is VERY very good. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options and I love the ORGANIC concept. Who doesn't like great bakery? Have to stop for breakfast or lunch while in town or driving through. Adorable location too.

Nathan was my server and he was awesome. I had the slim farmer. 7.95 and coffee. My server was super nice and attentive to refills and asking how I'm doing. The food was delicious and satisfying and healthy. Food came with generous amount of food. And to top it off Awesome view of mountains from my seat. I would highly recommend breakfast here. They have outside sitting in Summer too.
