Baileys just completed our annual stove cleaning and inspection. Gabe and Devan did an excellent job, were professional, thorough, and cleaned up after. I had a question on the stove that Gabe didn’t know the answer so he called the manufacture and got the info I was looking for. Nice touch Gabe. I like that they provide a written report with photos.They’re a bit pricey but provide excellent service.

The whole crew at Bailey's are great. When I initially called they were able to schedule me and then notified me of a cancellation and my appointment was moved up. The technicians who arrived were friendly and professional and took my rambling and concerns in stride. The cleaning and inspection itself took about 20 minutes and afterward we talked at length about the aspects of our wood stove and what it meant for the health of the unit as a whole. He showed me the pictures of inside and the parts that were reason for concern. Their report is succinct and clear.Would definitely use them again!

We had an excellent experience with Bailey's yesterday. Both the young gentlemen who came to inspect and service our wood stove were very professional and courteous. They took the time to explain what they were doing and what their inspection discovered. They were also able to clean our dryer vent which was clogged with lint, something we didn't realize. It's very refreshing to have such competent and friendly folks doing a great job.

Chimney crew arrived on time. Set up immediately and got to cleaning the chimney and fire box. Good explainations and photos where provided to show before and after conditions. Crew left the work area clean once they were done. Crew provided great recommendations on maintaining the fireplace. Overall.. great experience.... great service!!!

Matthew and Devon recently demo'd and rebuilt my smoke chamber, flue, damper, and chimney cap. They are both great guys, personable, friendly, and highly skilled professionals. They took great care to protect our floors and living room and did an excellent job of controlling dust and debris. Showed up on time, communicated well, kept the project on schedule and on budget. Can't ask for more than that. I've found Bailey's to be one of the top home improvement and maintenance companies in the NNM area.

Arrived on time, polite crew introduced themselves and offered to answer all questions, covered outside of the fireplace to ensure no dirt or damage, and did a thorough cleaning and inspection for the pre-arranged price. They photographed and filmed dangerous cracks inside our 35-year-old chimney and explained the repairs needed without pushing their own repair service, welcoming us to get other bids. Very professional. Highly recommended.

Edit after their response:I wouldn’t go back to a business when they charge for a half done job, and told me they CAN’T clean my chimney. I’m sure I told Bailey’s thank you after they visited because they popped out for a fee shortly after I reached out to them, but that was August. It wasn’t until end of September that I started burning in the stove.I found a business that understood the severity of the situation, and doesn’t charge a fee for my location. Fool me once…Again, I am sure this company is good, when they’re good. But, if they aren’t able to clean the entire setup, they still charge to clean half, and leave the creosote buildup for someone else to clean.Please be careful if you choose to work with them.Bailey's cost more than most, and after using them I would have been cold and smoky all winter at best, and a fire at worst.I don't write this to rant, with chimineys/wood stoves you need it to be done right and safely.I wish I had seen a review like this before I called them.Bailey's might be fine if you've purchased a setup from them, which my tech's pressured me to do, and you might be safe if the tech knows your setup, but my fairly standard setup with a Jotul was not something they knew how to work with. The tech said they couldn't do a full sweep, although when I had to have another company out, they knew exactly what to do. It's an easy 'remove screws, slip pipe' setup. I had a terrible creosote build up, causing a lot of smoke to billow into the house every time I opened the door. Bailey's takes pictures of your pipe before/after as though that's more important than cleaning where the stove connects to the pipe, makes a big deal about being up to code, but when it came down to doing a true sweep, the work was dangerously unfinished. Also, they either knocked a piece of the airflow bar down, blocking the airflow, or didn't know the equipment enough to know it was out of place. The other chimney sweep company I was lucky enough to connect with saw it was out of place immediately, and correctly set it right.

Revising review because the owner came out and due to what appears to be a manufacturer issue on our damper assembly, he is working on obtaining replacement parts from the manufacturer. We are still waiting for the parts to come in but we had kept up our warranty and so it is covered.

They responded very promptly to my service request. Matthew was running a few minutes late but I was notified and kept informed. They completed the service, all the while being considerate about my pets and my home! Left everything clean and lovely! The report and photos were complete and professional. Great Customer Service seems to be harder and harder to find but definitely get that here!
