This store is ridiculous! It has the absolute worst pharmacy. I spent 20 minutes wandering up and down their isles looking for a simple bottle of diretics for a client. The temperature outside is 53, which is like a nice spring day to us and they had the heater on full blast. I even went up to an empty consultation counter just to quickly ask where they were located (after already wandering up and down the isles for 15 minutes) and the clerk became agitated and literally shoved her whole body out of the opening at me saying, "can you please give us a minute) Yes, I'm autistic and cannot stand certain things that would not affect most people but I still felt that behavior was inappropriate. After she helped who she wanted from another line, she didn't even bother to help me. She just stood there talking to a co-worker, obviously not busy. I had to ask my client where the pills were.

Excellent customer service! Was there for scheduled vaccination and was checked in promptly and with a friendly smile. While waiting I witnessed the entire staff helping others with issuing prescriptions and advise along with location of OTC items as well.

Great and convenient for quick shopping although prices can be a bit pricier they tend to carry specialized items that aren't available locally. Store has excellent customer service!The pharmacy has had its problems. I went through the drive-thru and was told to go back around after an hour long wait. Then, the 2nd time thru they refused to give me my prescription stating it was expensive and my insurance didn't cover it anyway. Went to Walmart and paid for meds without issue.I tried the pharmacy again 1030am and was told I had to wait a couple hrs to let prescription process. Went to the drive-thru 2pm again and they claimed it hadn't been sent through at first and then "found the fax" told me to return in 45 min or so. Returned around 5pm, waited 80 minutes in the drive-thru line only to be told to "go around again". I told her the meds were time sensitive and I'd been waiting since morning. She kindly spoke to the head pharmacist and issued my prescription. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Drive thru has been "broken" for a solid month, maybe two. Hey Walgreens in Edgewood....what exactly do you need, a new speaker? A new transfer box? Let me know because I will hop on Amazon get it ordered. Ridiculous.

My OTC card didn't go through. They wouldn't check why with one genius telling me that OTC didn't work for Visa backed Spendables cards. The fellow was arrogant, lazy, and ill informed, no doubt they'll promote him.

the pharmacy is incompetent and horrible they waist your time telling you your prescription is ready when the haven't started it when you get there they tell you it will be another 2 hours completely unacceptable

Been going here for years, but this pharmacy has gotten worse. They are always apologizing that they are behind in filling prescriptions and instruct you to come back in a few hours or tomorrow (after standing in line for 25 minutes). Yet they have no problem completely shutting down the pharmacy entirely for lunch every day instead of taking staggered lunch breaks. I had surgery one day and my doctor called in my meds that morning; I went in late afternoon, but was turned away and had to wait until the next day. Just poor management overall, and that includes scheduling and administering vaccines. I'm done with them.

Long wait times, not enough staff to stay open during the lunch rush hour every day, unable to reach by phone even after thirty minute wait times, never get sms notifications even though they keep telling me they signed me up for them, missing info, the list goes on and on. I'd recommend somewhere else for your prescriptions, until they get this figured out.

My Walgreens App only works when I'm in the parking lot of Walgreens. I have a hard time with the Walgreens app when I get inside the store.

Extremely unhelpful and rude pharmacy! My doctor ordered a cream for me to take, instead of ordering it I was told to look in the 'foot section', to which I could not find anything with the name of the medication it, then was told they are in fact out of the product and go somewhere else. I politely asked if they could just order the cream like they were supposed to do in the first place, and then the pharmacist I was speaking to asked for the next customer. Very rude and impolite as well as unprofessional. Looking for another pharmacy.

I am a REGISTERED NURSE- nursing compact license with the state of WISCONSIN. This is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL pharmacy I have ever spoken with or utilized. It appears to be run by children- who place their own interests before patients. I doubt the female pharmacist working today has been a pharmacist very long. She gave me a pity party story of not having long enough of a lunch break. Go work somewhere else then or get into a different field. Go work as an RN and see how many lunch breaks you are able to take. I had a prescription, which I was figuring out the logistics of, while on a phone call with one of the pharmacy employees. I asked for the Walgreens address of the 24 hour location as I would not make the cut off time of this store’s closing. I asked this question at 1:31- one minute past the start of their lunch break and the woman on the phone refused to take one extra minute to get the address or that location for me and told me to call back in an hour. When I did call back and told the person that when they give addresses to people they should spell out the name of the street- she proceeded to berate me and hung up on me without spelling out the street so I knew where to get my medication. This is not currently a life threatening situation requiring medication - but is treating something that can lead to a kidney infection and possible sepsis and death. I suggest the pharmacy take a class on professionalism before messing with the health and well-being of individuals. They are clearly not patient advocate and hate their jobs. Absurd behavior.

The pharmacy at Edgewood Walgreens is horrible.It takes days to get a prescription filled, not hours but days. Sometimes I will get a text saying my prescription is ready, when I get there they say, it’s not ready. They definitely don’t like when you show them the text saying it’s ready. Yesterday after waiting three days for my dad’s foot cream to be filled, yep cream, no pill counting involved, just slap a sticker on the box, I get there at 4:30pm and the pharmacy is CLOSED!! If you don’t have high blood pressure, the frustration alone at this place will spike your blood pressure. I was frustrated enough yesterday, that I had my dad’s, husband’s and my prescription transferred to Walmart yesterday. Hopefully everything goes better at Walmart, can’t possibly get worse!Also maybe Walgreens should consider staggering lunch times instead of closing altogether for lunch, if they are already behind in filling prescription, closing completely down for a 30 minute break will only get them further behind.Tip for new comers, just go to a different pharmacy, don’t waste your time at Walgreens pharmacy

Extremely disappointed in this pharmacy. Not only is it hard to get someone to answer the phone, my service was less than satisfactory. I had a dental surgery and was called in four prescriptions at 12pm. I called at 5pm to make sure they were ready for pickup. I was on hold for 30mins so I just drove to the store. I was told they were working on 3 of them and the 4th one they had to get into the vault for and to come back in 15mins. 30mins later I receive a txt that they’re ready for pickup. My husband went to pick up my prescriptions and was only given 3 of the 4. I called back to see why he wasn’t given the fourth, which was the pain medication I actually needed ASAP. They said sorry the pharmacist is still working on it she may get it done by closing. My husband waited for 2.5 hours and talked to the pharmacist multiple times, had my surgeon call the pharmacist as well and she still wouldn’t fill the medication or transfer it to a 24hour pharmacy due to the surgeons name being wrong in their system. I’m all up for following rules and procedures, however why could you fill 3 medications but not the 4th if his name was incorrect? He called and gave the approval/credentials and still the pharmacist wouldn’t fill it without approval with the DEA. At this time it was 9pm and they closed and still no solution. I had to spend my night in pain and unnecessary frustration. However, Smiths Pharmacy was able to fill the prescription immediately this AM with no issues. Needless to say I will take my business there from now on. Do better Walgreens do better!

It shouldn't take two weeks to get a life depending medicine filled just for the pharmacist to not fill it, go home early because she "isn't feeling good" and not bother calling to let me know she can't do her job.

Worst place to get prescriptions filled. I called because my prescription was supposedly not covered by insurance. The pharmacy tech felt it was more important to argue with me that it isn't covered and called me a liar. Called Walgreens in Albuquerque and the pharmacy technician was nice. She looked at the prescription and guess what it is covered by insurance. Will take my business to town from now on.I should have known better than to try using this store as I called a while back about getting the COVID-19 Vaccine and was told repeatedly to sign up on. I told the woman over and over I can't get it to work online that was why I was calling, please help me. She curtly said they have same day appointments I needed to call back. I asked what time and she said the times change every day and hung up on me. My husband and I (both of us cancer patients) got the Johnson and Johnson at Smith's on Tramway again in town. Guess what - their pharmacy technician was polite and helpful. Yes she did first refer me to the state website.i only had to tell her once I could not get it to work and she said no problem it happens and got us in now wait.

I know everyone is getting tired of the “we’re really understaffed right now” excuse. But that’s the fault of the corporate execs who realized during the pandemic that they could run skeleton crews and then pocket the extra money. It’s not the fault of anyone at this pharmacy, they are doing the best they can and always seem to be hustling like mad back there, so let’s all cut them some slack.

This is the worst place! My prescriptions have been held hostage twice now. Apparently they can't keep a pharmacist there. The first time, I thought ok, life happens. Once I get my Rx this time, I'm going somewhere else. People have life saving medications that they need and these people can't send someone from another store to give us our medications!?!? Tried to call corporate number. My phone breaks up at my house, the lady got mad over it and hung up on me. Called back and told the person who answered don't hang up on me like the last person, next thing I know I'm transferred to the covid-19 line. Customers service is a joke to these people. Stay away!!!

Horrible customer service. Up at the frount register the cashiers are super rude the customer infront of me was having a hard time putting his card into the chip reader and the cashier just was telling him no instead of telling him the the card has to face down. I have never in my life been to a walgreens that is so rude to its customers I would rather drive 30 minutes to Albuquerque to go to a nicer Walgreens. Corporate needs to do something.

I suggest you never order prescriptions from this pharmacy. They are very unreliable. In the last 3 months I have tried to order medication on the due date. Each time problems arise and we are without our medication for 3 days. When I spoke to the staff they suggested I go somewhere else to get my meds because the situation was not going to be resolved in the foreseeable future.

Nearly every time I go to Walgreens, there is a price issue, and it’s always been an overcharge. You really have to watch items that are marked on sale, but when you get to the register, they don’t ring up correctly. The cashier today was very nice and found the sale tag and corrected the price. Other than that, the store is clean and the staff is helpful.

The pharmacist at this location feels it’s better to argue with a 60 year old patient with many ailments than to just get to the bottom of the issue. He was very unprofessional, rude and persistent. Right before apologizing (he was wrong) he asked what the medication was taken for, like it was his business. I would not recommend this pharmacy at all! I plan to file a report to New Mexico board of pharmacy.Stay away!

I will never get a flu shot here again. The woman administering the flu shots waited until at least 7 people filled out the forms. Then she decided to make it easier for HERSELF, so she prepared ALL the flu shots. Because of that, I waited 45 minutes to get a flu shot AND she mixed up the order of the paperwork, so the last person who filled out the form was given the flu shot before I was (I was 3rd in line)

Pharmacy USED to do OK. Now that they have branched out into healthcare, its a nightmare just to pick up pills! Staff seems young and uneducated- or maybe Overeducated that they d ont know how to deal with real people. The one girl there who did know what she was doing (pretty, red blond hair, lots of beautiful arm tattoos ) seems to have been replaced by 4 incompetent men (boys). Takes too long for just a pick up. They are too into the program kicking back money into their pockets playing on peoples fear. Going to take my business where they Just dispense medication not dip into too much other stuff. Way too dependent on their computers. If they crash they cant do anything. Not the way to run a decent business

Walgreens is NOT honest in pricing. If you don't have insurance, they charge you MSRP. Problem is, my doctor told me the drug he prescribed should be "less than $12.00 and usually around $6.00" but they charged me $140.00 Then they refused any compromise on the price or to use coupon discounts available. Very bad pharmacy management, very bad customer relations. They no longer will get any of my business, nor that of all the friends to whom I have told of this event. Going out on Facebook as well. Seems very poor corporate policy to run off thousands of dollars in business to rip someone off for $135.00.

My daughter went in to get her meds and they told her they were refilling it and it shouldn't take long, so she went to walmart to grab a few items and the lady said that it WILL be ready when she gets back. Then when my daughter comes back to pick it up they said it would be another 10 to 15 min, and she ended up waiting another 45 minutes just to find out she couldn't pick half of them up. This pharmacy gets a one star. I come here all the time and I am thoroughly unimpressed and will not recommend this place for anyone dear to me. I hope Walgreens is happy because my daughter was sick and you Walgreens just exposed a whole bunch of customers to it because you couldn't keep up to date with your meds. She saw her meds had been sitting and ready that whole time because they said they would let her know but instead let her suffer because they don't know how to communicate. I am lividly upset

Thyis has happened multiple times: I'm waiting in my car for drive through prescription pickup, and I can clearly see through the window that the pharmacist (not a tech or aid) is not wearing a mask. That's in violation of state mandates, of medical common sense, and it risks transferring covid virus from the pharmacist to everyone picking up prescriptions.
