Clean, tidy, well-kept and SOOOO Friendly!!! We boarded our German Shepherd here for a week (his first nights every away from family). He was happy and well-adjusted when I picked him up! PS: HIGHLY recommend grooming service!!! LeAnne did an amazing job cleaning & deshedding him!! He's never looked & felt better!!!

Patti is absolutely amazing! She does such a great job with all 3 of my dogs! I have to really express how gentle and loving she is and how she is so willing to accommodate the dogs. My dog recently had a major back surgery and being a poodle he has to be groomed, she did an amazing job and never over stepped boundaries. He looked so handsome when she was done and didn’t seem to be in any additional pain which was a major concern. She’s the only one I trust to send my pups to. She also does boarding and when I leave them there I know I will come home to 3 healthy happy dogs no questions asked! Hound Haven also offers dog training through Michelle and my oh my is she awesome. I have my Belgian Mal. in training with her. She’s so patient, calm, and knowledgeable. Hazel and myself have learned so much from her. I highly recommend Hound Haven for any services they offer. The employees treat you and your fur baby like one of their own.

It was great, lucky it wasn't to hot that day for the dogs, wish they would have water bottles for the humans and drinking areas for the dogs. It would of been nice if a vendor was there selling food also like last year when there was free hotdogs or burgers ,

My dog and I both love Hound Haven. Patty treats him like one of her own, and my dog loves her so much. I can’t say enough about how great she is with him. I will never take him to another groomer. I have also boarded him there, and he was treated great! They even offered to stay late for me to pick up because I was not getting back in to town before closing. Hound haven is a wonderful place for my furry baby!

Never again! Took my dog there for boarding and while I was dropping off my dog another customer walks in and the lady stopped helping me and helped the other customer taking her time while I just stood there… left clear instructions for some treats and chew bones for my dog since they basically lock your dog in a kennel all day and night alone, so I wanted her to have something to help entertain her, but at pick up the chew bone still had a paper tag and no chew marks, and half the chews were still in the bag so they not only have poor customer service, but they can’t follow simple instructions. Also I had surprise charges I was never told about, and they charged the high end of the quote for grooming when she said it would likely be the lower end of the quote. If I had not had to make last minute travel plans for family, I would have never taken my dog there. Outside is all for show, they just lock your dog up and they get a few bathroom breaks in a small side yard that is extremely foul smelling!

Patti and Hound Haven *literally* acted as living miracles this week! My husband and I were driving down I-40 with our dog, when our vehicle caught fire. The whole SUV was completely engulfed in flames within 3 minutes. Patti saw us on the other side of the fence and drove all the way down to the exit and back up the interstate to pick up our dog and keep him safe -- while we spent hours on the shoulder dealing with cops, crying, towing, devastation and insurance agents. THEN she refused to take money from us for her work. THEN -- she answered our plea for help and came to our hotel at 7am to pick up our dog and take care of him all day while we bought another car -- again she refused to take any money! Kind, good, caring, generous people DO EXIST :) And Patti makes my heart explode with joy and gratitude. It was so cool seeing the facility which is top notch, well maintained, and super clean. I would forever and always use Hound Haven if we lived locally! Thank you Patti for everything you did for us -- you are our hero!!!! xx

We have been using Hound Haven for several years and we have been very happy with how they care for our dog Snickers. Snickers is always happy to go there and Patty does a great job of grooming him while he stays there. I never worry about Snickers because I know he is being well cared for at Hound Haven

Patty is great. She understands dog behavior and takes great care of both our dogs. She has a special bond with our Mexican hairless who tends to be misunderstood by others. We’ve been taking our dogs here for several years and never had any problem.

Our 2 dogs got sprayed by a skunk and after several attempts to bathe them at home it was clear we needed help! Patti fit us in the same day and used her own deodorizing solution to get the odor out...it worked great. We were very appreciative!

I’ve been taking my dogs here for grooming every two months for the last year and have been so happy each time I pick them up. Both dogs came from the shelter and have trust and anxiety issues but Patty is so friendly and welcoming, taking such great care of them both.

Thanks for the great job grooming Frisco, the mini schnauzer, yesterday.He is always so clean and neat when he gets home. He was matted and uncomfortable when I took him in. He is so much healthier and handsome after Patti cleans him up. He will be back for his next haircut!!Thanks, again.

I had read some really good reviews about Hound Haven. My daughter took my glam baby for her 1st grooming. Her ears were butchered, and looks nothing like what we expected. We are so disappointed. Staff was provided with a picture as to what we expected. Wewill not be returning.

We adopted a little special needs fur baby. She is paralized in the hind end and has incontinence issues. The cut they did for her not only made her look so adorable but sure help with her hygiene and easy clean ups! Great job at a great price.

Hound Haven is a beautiful facility with experienced Dog people taking care of your animals. Hound Haven would like every dog in New Mexico to be part of our family. When they stay here, We treat them that way.Intact dogs are welcome, and the site also offers a huge 10,000 square foot dog park for the dogs to run and play in.Full Service Grooming Salon is also available through Hound Haven. Our groomers are registered members of the National Dog Groomers Association of America and have many years experience grooming pets and show dogs as well.

We brought our three dogs to Hound Haven to be groomed. Our caren terrier usually can't wait to leave the groomers. He took one sniff and knew what our intensions were and he turned around to run. We dragged him back in. They clipped nails on all three and groomed two of them. When we picked up the two who were groomed the caren terrier had to be dragged away. Don’t know what went on after we dropped them off but we will make the 4 hour drive to have him groomed here again. Thank you Hound Haven for taking away his fear of grooming. Five stars for sure.

Was passing through, my Scottish Terrier needed grooming. Called Petco, they had a week wait. Found Hound Haven in a brochure for Hidden Valley RV Park. They fit me in and got Abercrombie cleaned and cutHe loved it there?

My dog mr. Skittles stayed with Patti and Bronson at Hound Haven for 3 days and loved it also mr. Skittles said that it's a clean his kennel he had ever stayed in I will be happy to take mr. Skittles back to Hound Haven anytime also he gets groomed there and he always looks nice.

Attended rattlesnake clinic, it took all of 2 minutes, they shock your dog with an e collar and charge you $90. Sounded more involved in the video I watched but wasn't. Would not recommend to anyone.

This lady did not know how to trim and cut Schnazers i brought in a beautiful dog and lett with a dog no hair no beard no markings that a Schnazer should have? Beard is still dirtty not clean should be white ! He had the most beautiful coat of hair now its gone! Doesnt even smell good like hes been to a groomer?whoud not go there ever again!!!

The training venue is really nice. It is fully fenced and has soft astroturf footing. The trainer and other students in my class are awesome. There is a clean indoor bathroom and parking is abundant and close.

My friend left her dog there when she picked him up he had peed all over his bed. They don't take the dogs out like they say they do. I asked for recommendations on FB good reviews but the private message we're not so good.
