It’s you’re average family dollar and for us locals, the only place that we can get a few household items and groceries here in town. During tourist season this place has a hard time keeping stocked up. The freezers and most shelves will be empty. So if you’re planning a trip up here maybe stop at a store in Alamo and get the stuff you need ahead of time.

This was by far the worst experience in a family dollar I have ever had. The store was out of stock on everything and nothing was put on the shelves it was thrown on them in random areas. Don’t even bother with the manager, she’s a total witch!

An alright store in a pinch, but not very well stocked. I went and there was no milk, which was a bummer when you’re on a mission for cereal. It was clean enough and reasonably priced.

Very impressive, not sure if under new management or what is the reason, but usually by Sunday after all tourists have been through the store looks like a complete disaster area. Today it was actually clean and tidy. Thank y’all for doing a great job this weekend.

Complete disaster, only 1 register open all the time, boxes everywhere, nothing is ever in stock. The employees need customer service training ASAP. Might be good for a few things on a trip, but that’s only if they actually have it out on the shelves. The employees are rude, and always smoking right outside the door. There is only 1 nice employee there, and I feel bad for her having to do everything.

I’ve had to make 3 trips today to Family Dollar here in Cloudcroft and have spent around $250 for supplies. Each time I’ve told myself when I leave I want be back. I’m assuming the rude woman with the long braid is the Manager. I can’t say I’ve ever in my shopping experience been spoken and treated worse by anyone that’s in the retail business. By all means don’t ask her if you have a item in stock such as matches. She told me they don’t have them. Really, I have purchased them several times previously. I would give this business 0 stars if possible. It’s great to have the availability of this business. But Family Dollar needs to do I little training in how not to be a rude employee.

They were restocking when I went @~4pm and you could barely walk down the aisles. It has been good in the past but this want so great a shopping experience. It does save a trip to Alamogordo though, if you are pressed for time.

Store was very messy. Convenient that they have groceries so you don't have to go to a bigger town. Didn't have everything we wanted. Both employees we encountered were very kind even though one of them didn't look happy at all.

Like the fact we have access to more groceries in our clean , beautiful town. Unfortunately family dollar has an eye soar of trash out side in its parking lot. Family dollar should keep it properly maintained. I WISH could upload a picture

Not ADA compliant. Not service dog friendly. The store manager harassed me and even called the police. The police stated that the store was in need of education regarding the matter and they would provide education to store staff on ADA laws. I contacted Family Dollar numerous times via phone and email to have a conversation regarding my experiences and have yet to have any correspondence returned.

Restrooms closed to the public yet they want to be open to do business, either you're open or you're closed I know the dollar store down the hill in Alamogordo employees were very courteous and allowed us to use the restrooms. Cloudcroft nothing but a tourist trap.

Pretty messy and dingey. It just felt a bit dirty in there. It needs a good scrubbin, but it was convenient. The eggs did not make me sick so no complaints on food quality.

I’ve tried to go there 3 different times in the last 3 days at random times and the store has been closed during times they’re supposed to be open. You would think being the only store in town really that they would care about their customers more.

Looking for an item I had previously purchased there ..was told they would have more Tuesday or Wednesday...went today( tuesday) and was treated like I was either crazy, stupid or making it up...rude and unfriendly cashier "didn't know what I was talking about"..and obviously did not care. Others working there seem customer friendly but NOT this one.

Handy with a good selection of merchandise. Sometimes popular staples are sold out, but that's to be expected since the only other option is Allsups. Often saves a drive down the hill to Alamogordo, which makes it all the better.

Store was nice with good selection of merchandise which was a surprise due to the size of the town. Floors were a little dirty but its hard to keep them clean when theirs alot of slush outside.
