The first time we've ever seen a Family Dollar/ Dollar Tree combo store. It's alot of fun to look around here, some interesting stuff. Also for the area being as busy on a Friday, things were pretty relaxed here. There's a single restroom and it was really big, even clean at this time of day too. Easily a place we'd come back to again.

The local Family Dollar store here in Clayton is the best. It's my favorite store .Stopped in for a few things. Took 2 i like about it. There is always an employee to help you check out on a timely manner.Love how clean & organized the aisles & shelves are. They are always stocked. No messy boxes or items sitting on floor.The employee 's are friendly, and professional. Overall it is the best store with the best help in Clayton.

The store was well stocked with lots of new items on well organized shelves. I was there around 3 pm on Easter Sunday & they were pretty busy as most other stores were closed for the holiday. So was glad to find it so clean and organized. I definitely recommend Family $ to anyone.

I only give it 4 stars because we are a small community with limited choices and this store doesn't have some items that I use. Other then that it's a clean well organized store with friendly helpful workers. I like the later hours but only wish they pened earlier.

I work at this store. Since the old manager it was very bad but since we have Liza working as our manager now it's been very organize. And we work very hard to help what they are looking for and making sure they are helped.

Very unprofessional, there where 3 people behind the register and yet all they wanted to do it seemed was giggle and flirt with one another.I believe y'all had a vender in there as well .He seemed to try and be as patient as he possibly could.This is not anywhere close to being the only time my wife and I have been disrespected do to lack of service.I have personally tried to visit with the manager only to be talked to like I was a child..Thank you and I'm sorry that it isn't a very good review of y'alls store....It takes a lot for me to get upset enough to write a darn complaint..Ps. I sure hope you can fix that mess here before you end up losing more customers than my family and friends.Have a Merry Christmas And a HAPPY New Year...GOD BLESS

We had an overnight in Clayton and decided to go ahead and pickup a few things before supper. My adult daughter and myself went to Family Dollar around 6:30 pm last night and noticed a female employee stationed "guard like" at the front door as we entered. We had walked 15-20 feet inside heading straight back when we heard someone say "excuse me, ma'am, ma'am". I turned and realized the "guard" was talking to me. She then informed me that I had to leave my backpack at the counter. I wasn't allowed to enter the store with it. I told her that the backpack she was referring to was actually my purse. She said she didn't care, it was still a backpack and I had to leave it at the front. Needless to say there was no way I was going to leave my Tumi backpack style purse at the front and we left.I have used a backpack style purse for a number of years, travelled all over the US and to many countries and never have I had this happen. We've travelled through Clayton numerous times and this experience was definitely a first. Honestly if it had happened before we would have overnighted in another town. I understand that every store has to institute certain policies to adapt to their geographical region but let's just stop to think what this experience says about this town. Certainally not one that I would like portrayed. Whatever the reason for this action, I certainly hope that this location is able to get it under control before more customers are lost.

Stopped in this family dollar passing through from Texas. I couldn't believe how rude and upset the cashier looked. I seriously wanted to apologize to her for shopping in this store. Never again will I stop there again.

For living in a small small town, this Family Dollar is very well stocked. Almost anything & everything is there. Employee's very welcoming and nice....every time you walk in 😄

The manager there is horrible..she dont speak any english she us always on her phone when I go in looking for items she just says no..I understand spanish but she dont even attempt to try and help she horrible and that place needs better management 😡
