What a Wonderful find in North East New Mexico!! My wife and I were out in New Mexico to renew our wedding vows on our 25th Anniversary. We did a day trip to the North East part of the state, finished what we wanted to see and did a search for "Rock Shops" near us. Rocks Ore Minerals came up and it was on our way back to Taos.We called to see what time the shop closed and was told by Shiela, the owner, in 30 minutes but we were still 45 minutes away. Shiela kept the store open for us and we had such a wonderful time there. Shopping for stones, I make custom Cabs and Sterling Silver jewelry , and just talking with Shiela.If you are EVER near Cimarron NM stop in and talk with Shiela!!!

Loved the store. I don't know much about rocks, minerals, or gems but I think the prices were fair. The lady working was very nice and lovely to talk to. A great little rock shop. If I come back to Cimarron I'll definitely be stopping again :)

A gem of a rock shop. Very reasonable prices and a decent selection. The owner was friendly and shipping was a nice experience. Not your typical tourist trap rock or crystal shop.

Very cool place with a lot of unique rocks, minerals and other decor. The owner is very knowledgeable of all the product and is very nice. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone staffing or going out on a trek to Philmont who has the extra time, or just to anyone passing through Cimarron.
