If you're passing through Cimarron New Mexico for a Philomont adventure or just to enjoy the area, Hikers Coffee is your place to fuel up in the morning. The coffee is delicious and prepared by a skilled barrista on a state of the art machine. Service couldn't be any better - fast, friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is 100% in alignment with what you expect from a top notch Hiker oriented coffee shop. This team handled out wild band of San Antonio scouts. Best place to make it happen in the morning. I highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Staff and layout conducive the large groups while not making it feel crowded

Saw this as we drove to our place 2 blocks away and was craving it the next morning. This is a great hangout spot to enjoy from the summer heat with board games, books and a small shop. We enjoyed the Happy Camper latte blended and someone asked what it was when we picked it up smelling the salted caramel and cinnamon. Looked to have some Boy Scout counselors there enjoying the brake from the kids.

We stopped here before and after our 625 trek in 2023. Great coffee, good breakfast sandwiches, and nice atmosphere. Recommend this for crews before checking in, and after checking out, at Philmont.The owner is an experienced Scouter with multiple treks under his belt as well.

The coffee is great and the vibes are immaculate. The owners and workers are consistently polite and quick to take and make your order. This shop is honestly the lifeblood of all coffee-loving Philmont staff. I personally recommend the iced fireside chat, iced zia, and the dirty chai latte. It's one of the places you have to go if you're passing through Cimarron!

Detour 20 mins from the hwy and well worth the visit. Kids loved the hot chocolate and pastries and we enjoyed the coffee and break. The atmosphere is great to play some games while enjoying a coffee. Added bonus of a little park across the street.

Stopped in for breakfast after staying the NYE night at the Hikers Cimarron Inn & RV Park - same owners. Lattes, drip coffee and chai latte were delicious. Hubby and I each had the breakfast sandwich special and the kids each had the pretzel special. All really yummy. We had intended to grab and hit the road but the place was sooo cozy and inviting that we ended up staying there awhile - playing a game of checkers and talking a bit with the owners. If we ever find ourselves in Cimarron again we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended stop.

We stopped at this awesome coffee shop on our way to Philmont Scout Ranch! The atmosphere is great with plenty of seating and games! They have an old piano to play and a jukebox! The owners are delightful and want to make sure everyone has a great experience!

Hikers Coffee is an awesome coffee and ice cream stop in Cimarron. It was our first stop after our Philmont Trek. The affogato (espresso and ice cream) was a welcome treat after a hard hike. The family-owned business is friendly, clean and comfortable.

Plan to stop here!!! We discovered this gem leaving AngelFire and heading home one morning. Cute, local coffee shop. Owners are so friendly. Just opened in the midst of Covid - living their dream. Got a Spicy Mocha oat milk latte - delicious! Family tried the pigs in a blanket, blueberry muffin, sausage breakfast sandwich, and churro donut! Checked all the boxes. Will get us through until our next stop in 3 hours! 😄

Very cool little coffee shop in Cimarron, with exceptional service, delicious coffee and pastry and comfy decor! Loved their lavender latte with extra shot! They use Red Rocks roasters coffee and it shows, superior coffee indeed! What a wonderful surprise in this little town of Cimarron!Dietary restrictions: All the choices of milks.

I stopped here after a long trek, and this was my first time being inside a public place in weeks. Holds a special place in my heart. The ice cream was delicious, the sticker I bought, witch I still keep on my water bottle, and the atmosphere was amazing. Would recommend.

They want to be the local Starbucks without the franchising.Eclectic decor, good coffee, they didn’t have much to offer for breakfast alas, it is a very small town. Gal at the counter had trouble understanding a more broader English, her ear seemed too used to the local jargon .Hope they improve on the menu and the customer service as well.

Great coffee and a cozy place to sit and enjoy your beverage, ice cream or breakfast sandwich. I asked four oatmeal and they added it to the menu! The hikers theme adds to the environment. There is plenty of comfortable seating and some good merchandise to buy. This is a family run business and they are prompt, friendly and make you want to keep coming back. Don't miss it when in town.
