Great place to stop, looks modern from the outside but enter the door to a different world! Friendly, warm welcome, rustic style interior. The menu board threw all ideas of just stopping for a coffee out of the window! The aroma of coffee and food was too delicious to ignore!Avacado toast was delicious as was the Chama Roast Beast.Sitting eating there was a cheery greeting for everyone who entered, advice for those who needed it and obviously a place for locals to pop in too.

Everything about this cozy little spot is amazing. The food and coffees are made from scratch and with true artistry! Have patience cause it's truly a HOT spot in the summer but we'll worth the wait!!! They started doing dinners and you can't go wrong!!Dietary restrictions: Just let owner know and she will see if she can cater to your needs. Good friends of ours gluten free and the make specials for them upon request.Parking: Huge lot!!Kid-friendliness: The seating outside and we'll as creative decor inside offer warmth and personality! Dog friendly too!!!

Rio Chama Espresso has added lunch - Monday through Thursday - and dinner on the weekends. Nice having eatery options actually open in Chama. The coffee menu is great and competitively priced, the food (lunch and dinner) offerings are surprisingly very expensive so bring your money roll. Popped in to pick up a couple coffee cremes (OUTSTANDING and you should definitely have one!) the line was very long, not a problem, it is challenging to find staff in Northern New Mexico and this location has definitely been through most of the available local workers. Two custys directly before me, one had sandwich, drink, pastry, total: $32, next, sandwich and sparkling water $20. That customer said, "WOW, how much is the sandwich?"Overall, Chama is fortunate to have Rio Chama Espresso Wine Bar & Kitchen it's open, consistent and tries very hard!!!

Big group, they were quick, everyone loved what they got. They were busy but kept everyone going. Raves to the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. (Friend noted the "cinnamon roll" was a little dry, could use more butter and frosting- apple fritter was apparently a little dry too. The scone was good.) I didn't see any gluten free options but did have alternative milks.

Great cafe to work out off. Wifi was fast enough and we had a good time working here for an entire afternoon until they closed. Baristas/staff is very helpful and courteous. They had a delicious collection of baked items and awesome coffee too - we got the cold brew and mocha ☕️ . Washroom was neat and clean.

Really nice to see a proper coffee shop in Chama! Lots of options on the menu, and a good selection of whole coffee beans to brew at home. We ordered an iced caramel latte and a hot mocha. Both were very tasty and just what we wanted! It took a while to place the order, but they were slammed & short on staff. The inside is nice & would be a great place to chill. The seating outside is a great place to sit and soak up the outdoors (with a fire pit!).

Nice atmosphere. I have eaten here many times while in Chama. It can sometimes take a few minutes if they are busy. Pastries are always fresh and tasty. Coffee, espresso and lattes are made to order. The patio with an always lite fire pit is very comfortable. Very clean and employees always wear masks now, again.

Fantastic coffee shop. I was here on vacation for a few days and Rio Chama Espresso was the highlight of my mornings here. My favorite drink, the Vanilla Caramel Macchiato. The scones were fantastic. And the almond croissants were the best I ever had. Everyone was so friendly. This place is an absolute treasure. I wasn't able to talk to everyone because they were so busy. But, I did get to meet Cassie. If you do stop in, say hi to her. She makes the BEST foam for the cappuccinos and latte's.

Just passing by south bound and saw this gem of a coffee shop. Best latte and scone I’ve had in months. Thank you for being COVID conscious as well. Lovely bakery items, good breakfast options, and enticing lunches. Loved the fire pit out front. Very friendly customer service.

I enjoyed the little time I had here. Owner Alayana Alariana was very attentive. She explained all of the coffees and breakfast she had to offer. She also explained why and how she could stay open at this time. Excellent place to come get your coffee.Wished some costumers could abide by state regulations. I'm sorry that man who stated he was a doctor and would not put on his mask, then said he was give them a bad review because he had to put on his mask. Love this home town shop, pray you all make it threw all this.

Such a sweet spot. Loved the home feel to this cute little place. And talk about great coffee. Both my husband and I loved our specialty coffees and options for milk! Must stop in and try this place out has everything from great coffee to a nice atmosphere to really good friendly staff.Just found out my friend's credit card was charged twice. I hope they credit his account or find some way to make it right we really enjoyed our visit there.

Just stopped for a cup of coffee and discovered this wonderful place! Ordered coffee, tea and muffins, and all were wonderful! Muffins were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and served warm. Tea was freshly brewed in an individual pot and was perfect. Good selection of black, green and herbal teas. Seating available both inside and out. Great decor! Super friendly staff! Glad we stumbled on to this place...great find!

My husband and I found this place on fb years ago and finally got the chance to stop in this morning. The regular coffee is decent, pastries made in house are to die for, gluten free oatmeal was delicious, baristas were genuinely friendly and informative. Lots of choices for drinks and food. Very cute and clean and the old veteran sitting in his spot to chat with anyone who walks in really made the whole experience what you or we expect from a coffee shop. This will be a permanent stop when our sons wrestling tournaments take us this way.

Such a cute place, the staff is great, friendly and the fireplace was a perfect touch for a below freezing morning. The coffee, and the breakfast sandwiches were fantastic. They have keto options for drinks and one of us had the sandwich without the bagel and the eggs, bacon and cheese were very tasty. We can't wait to go back and have another coffee and enjoy the atmosphere and relax. They do have GF options for food some things are not always available but they always have something GF.
