We haven’t stayed there yet. I just wanted to acknowledge how easy and accommodating it was to get the hotel blocked for a wedding. The woman I spoke to was very nice and sent me the confirmation in a timely manner. When planning a wedding it can be so stressful trying to find a place for our guest but they did a wonderful job. Highly recommend so far.

Our cabin was very nice. We were pleased when we walked in. Upon closer inspection, the shower had hairs in it, the toilet had urine streaks running down the front, and when we turned down the bed, there were hairs in it. The pillows smelled terrible because that pillowcases obviously hadn’t been changed. We asked for new sheets and we’re given one flat sheet. When we checked out the next morning we didn’t complain further but we won’t be back. I would’ve been pleased to pay $160 a night had it been clean. The lady at the front desk apologized, but offered no discount. It was the worst night we have had in a long time. We slept fully dressed, and in our jackets, instead of using the dirty blankets and sheets. We won’t be back.

I have stayed at the Riverbend Lodge about six times. It’s reasonable and perfectly placed for my trips to Colorado from Texas. My last trip the manager put my 3M anniversary service ring in the safe. When I went to retrieve it she was gone and the desk clerk didn’t have the key. They agreed to mail it to me. Over a period of several weeks I inquired about my ring and at first she stated, “She took it out of the safe and put it on the counter and she doesn’t know where it is.” A few days later I called again and she said, “I vaguely remember putting it in an envelope and mailing it to you.” Each time they stated they investigate and return my calls, they have never contacted me. I sent a registered letter requesting them to file an insurance claim and they have not responded.Noteworthy details: I don’t trust the owners.

I stayed there for 2 nights.Lovely location. The town would dry up if not for the Combe Toltec train. A couple of restaurants were open. The room was very clean.Here's what needs help.NO ICE!! The management is aware that people are filling up their coolers and depleting the ONLY ice machine on site. They have a message posted on the machine, do not fill your coolers with ice, you're on camera, but no one seems to enforce it.So, why doesn't the owner have a small ice machine in the office where it will be monitored? You know, for those of us that just need a small quantity?

I took my girlfriend to the Lodge for Mother’s Day 2023. I chose the cheaper room not a cabin. We were placed in a room closest to the office # 101. We were disturbed many times by slamming doors, people arguing. The noise was coming from the room next to ours occupied by the office employees. Things finally settled down. I almost had to find another place as it was upsetting my girlfriend. We woke early and we’re having coffee, it all started again. Woman yelling at another woman. Then woman yelling at a man. Doors slamming. Sounded like a domestic dispute. Very awkward and not pleasant at all. Room was decent for the price . Microwave,, small fridge, comfortable bed, decent Wi-Fi. I will not go back . If you do go request to be a few doors down from the office. The arguing employees ruined our stay.

I was fortunate enough to stay at this lovely lodge for almost a month through. There was a hiccup with the water in the entire city but the staff went so far out of their way to ensure they did all that they could for their clientele to ensure comfort and convenience despite the issues at hand that were way out of their control. I have never been to a place that out forth so much time and effort for the guests, beautiful area and a magnificent blend of rustic to modern in the rooms. I would Greatly recommend staying here for anyone coming through the area or even as a peaceful getaway.

Quiet, peaceful, room was clean. Bed was comfy. Great location next to the Chama River. Relaxing. So peaceful at night. Enjoyed my stay here while working in Dulce. Looking forward to my return trip in a few weeks. Will stay here again. They also have cabins here if you want more than a room. The scenery around here is beautiful.

The atmosphere and community seem very chill. It's nice, and decently clean (the exception is the upstairs loft area, which in my cabin, wasn't too clean.)It does seem a little old and run down, but overall, its nice. Also, the wifi sucks horribly... But it's a good thing I could care less.

Wonderful place to stay with kids! Staff was all wonderful to us durning our extended stay, including getting the kiddos set up with volleyballs and hot coco almost daily!Wildlife comes on the grounds and around the cabins the baby deer were a treat. Plenty of space and well set up. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

I was more than happy with our stay there. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The cabin had all we needed for our stay and was comfortable and clean. I would recommend it to family and friends and the grandbabies are already asking when we can go again.

The beds were VERY uncomfortable. And no TVs in the bedrooms. Wanted to get away and relax, lay down and watch tv but no dice. We reserved 2 nights but left after one. People very nice though. Location nice also. Too bad about the beds and tv situation.

Well the outside is nice and the people were friendly. The cabins weren't the filthy but they also weren't clean. There was food from the previous guest left in the grill and the microwave. The showers wouldn't stay warm and the soap provided smelled like hand sanitizer. The AC was very loud and will wake you up. There were also quite a few spiders and cobwebs everywhere. There were also stains on the linens. It seems like if they did a deep cleaning and upgraded a few things it might be worth the price.

Very beautiful cabins with wonderful scenery and a great river just feet away. But, terrible wifi (either nothing or connected without internet) and our cabin would loose power if we ran the microwave and air conditioner at the same time.

We stayed in the cabin with the king size bed. First the good; grounds and location are beautiful. Cabin was reasonably clean and and quiet. The bad; mattress was several years over due for replacement. Cabin was about three hundred square feet, functional but a bit cramped (I can't imagine having a couple of kids in the loft also). A/C was undersized, noisy and could not keep up with the 80 degree daytime temperatures. We had friends staying at some of the other nearby motels and this is definitely the best of them.

The cleaning staff were amazing! The owners not so much. Another occupation broke a window while we were staying and the owners were hauling butt on their golf cart and other SUV’s/large trucks and nearly hit my 9/yr old nephew. They also got very upset when we used the community grill. Not very friendly.

Surprised by how new and woodsy the rooms were with new cabinetry (cedar?) and walls. Owners are extremely kind and helpful. The outdoor hot tub was nice and hot and was a hot for our running team's weary legs! Had a nice and peaceful rest.
