A picture is worth a thousand words and let me tell you, this Walmart was a hoot. Being from Texas, we thought the spirit section in the back was as hilarious as this case in the center. The only weird thing was that everyone smelled like weed and it was difficult to navigate the store because they were doing a lot of rearranging. Overall funny experience

What you have done to your store here in Carlsbad is unacceptable I will shop anywhere else but Walmart. I am fed up with everything you got going on. I used to say if Walmart doesn't have it I don't need it now I say if Walmart has it I don't need it.. I know you don't care if I quit shopping there but I guarantee I'm not the only one there's a jillion people in this town that are not happy and sick of your store You have poor management, you have poor help that can't even speak English, I speak Spanish but they still don't even want to talk to you. Most of them are very rude and could care less about helping you. You moved everything and even your employees don't even know where it's at. Just the traffic in front of your store is enough to keep people away but your poor management and customer service is a cherry on top. Adios and good riddance. Oh and yourself checkout fees you can stick those between your toes.

This place where to begin the staff is absolutely no help shelfs are always empty every few months there is always a full store arrangement that literally makes no since and to top it all off self checkouts. It's like they don't value humans at all if I could absolutely rate this as negative stars I would and to top all of this the staff is as big about saying what they can't do to push you to shop somewhere else.

Always a good place for great value....Our Hometown Walmart is under renovation, and it looks like it's all for the better! All though...My biggest complaint is that there are not nearly enough self checkouts to handle the masses.

The customer service people are fantastic which is why I gave them 2 stars. I recently bought a pool that was on sale from them. Apparently it was from a 3rd party seller and they never actually shipped the pool. Unfortunately walmart couldn't get us a replacement pool so they refunded us our money (we just wanted the pool). I am so disappointed that Walmart allows 3rd party sellers to create false advertising and not actually intend on sending the items.

I visited this Walmart for two reasons.(1) This store was near Chosa Campground in Carlsbad NM, where I planned to hang out for a few days to dodge high winds causing dangerous travel conditions for motorhome drivers. I arrived on Mar 20, and couldn't make a race for South Dakota until April 3.(2) Since we ate all of our stocked food supplies and jugs of water while at Chosa, we had to restock the cabinets and refrigerator before leaving Carlsbad NM.During my visit as others have stated, the parking lot was small and crowded. Took some effort to park my 34-foot motorhome with a tow vehicle attached.At this time, I found the store to be well stocked, and workers were working hard to clear aisles by emptying additional deliveries and adding to already stocked shelves. Most employees I encountered spoke English. They were friendly and helpful. I did encounter one employee who didn't speak English well, But he too was friendly, and got another person to escort me to bungee cords I couldn't find.There were shopping carts scattered all over various parking lot areas which were abandoned by customers once their groceries were loaded into his/her vehicles.In my opinion it shows a lack of respect not only to store employees, managers and other customers who have to dodge shopping carts while looking for a parking spot. Respect and consideration for others are not just words, it's a verbal and physical action. Just doing the right thing makes us all winner's. Good job Walmart employees and managers.I hope all of your customers (residents and travelers) will help ensure the safe arrival of other customers by returning carts to designated areas and deposit their own trash in trash cans provided on your parking.

Worst walmart I've been to ever! Staff is not helpful at all. Supervisor/manager is an idiot.. did not want to take my i.d. because it was "mangled" when you can still see clearly the info on it. She looked more mangled than my i.d. I don't know why she's still there working.

I'm sick and tired of Walmart claiming people are stealing from them when they are stealing free labor from the public. We don't work for them nor do we get to use them on are taxes at the end of the yr for doing there employees job.wake up Walmart do your job and stop stealing from the hard working people that made you what you are today......

Worst Walmart I've ever been in.its crowded always no matter what time of day. Impossible to get in and out. And not enough help. And half the staff does not speak English and are not friendly. I ask for help and they say no English and look at there phones. It's like being in another country. Does not feel like America.

Provided they have whatever I'm needing in stock and on the shelf and I don't have to ask the employees for any help than it's ok. But if you need to ask for an employee to unlock something or just have a question about something good luck!!!

I was looking for a microwave. I seen an associate and asked her about it. The price said $64.84. And she said this is the only one we have we do not have any other in stock. I looked down there was like 8 or 10 of them. The same microwave. It was price much higher $79. I asked. What does this say $64. 84 you say there's nothing in stock when there's 8 or 10 of them right here at $79. I said could you help me with this and find out the correct price for me. She said I have to go up front and talk to them they don't have radios. I went up front. Talk to the lady who had a RADIO. She said. I have to talk to my team liter. Went back to the microwaves. Same lady I had spoken to before. Said I had to go up front. They don't have radios. WAS the team leader. The team leader. Could have taken care of it right then and there. Instead of saying I'm making this mistake that the pricing was wrong. Did not give me good customer service. As a team leader should. I had to prove to this team leader. The pricing was wrong. She did everything she could to avoid me. Put it off on her employees that she is to be supervising. I do not believe she is a very good team leader. This is at walmart in Carlsbad NM. Thank you.

Just wanting to put it out there so everyone can be aware i got these less then a week ago and opened one and smelled really bad and a green color one the top, I called and tried to report it to a person in management but would get the run around when I told someone what it was regarding then someone answered in the ordered area and told me just to bring it back and would give me another one but I asked if she can report it to a management and she said I was going to get a new one anyways so there was no need the fact is management seems to busy to answer questions but when we go the are talking around the closed lanes I don't understand.

Well, we are from Texas and the fact that Walmart sells liquor is freaking awesome!However, it was very crowded, and it was no different than our local Walmart. That’s not necessarily a good thing. Lol.

Found everything I needed, but genuinely frustrated that for such a busy time of day they only had 3-4 tills open. I get the money grabbing to keep prices down...supposedly...but it was busy enough to warrant 6 or more cashiers open. Ridiculous.

Walmart! Not everyone wants to check themselves out. Especially on items were we have to type in the serial number and codes. Please get a mixture of cashiers and self checkouts. I will continue to give 1 star at every visit until you bring back the cashiers.
