This pet supply store is great! All of the employees are very friendly and it's a joy to come in and be treated so well by the staff. Love that they have a picture backdrop for your pets to take photos in front of!

Before we even entered the building, Joseph was helpful. Holding the door for me & my pug pack. He helped me find EXACTLY what we were looking for and was incredibly knowledgeable. I was just hoping to find a couple of items, but he made this trip so great that I will absolutely be back!A great spot for ALL your pet needs and customer service that exceeds the norm!

Very overpriced products. Most of the staff is helpful and friendly. The manager had to take care of our return in her office in a long drawn out process just to get store credit.. The manager is VERY good at being condescending. This town could use a pet shop with good, friendly service.Edit- We had originally gotten our plastic kennel from here. We returned it and picked up an almost identical version at Tractor supply for 24.99... it's less than half the price with almost the same exact dimensions.

1st trip- Older man, could of cared less if I had the right product! I called before I went in to confirm they had the product! I get there and product not available! Was given 1 box instead of two to meet the necessary requirements! He just said this should work! It didn't! 2nd trip a nice girl waited on me! I was glad the man was gone! I would have given him a piece of my mind, making 2 trips across town because of his incompetence! Thanks for listening!

I went it to get nails trimmed and filed on Chief the dog I'm sitting. The staff took care of him really quickly even though he didn't have an appointment. Wonderful staff especially Amanda and her assistant.

Very nice people. My humans took me there for a new food and water dish and a collar. I was treated very nice and got a treat when we got home. I really like going to Petsense. The vet, not so much.

Took my 68lb. goldendoodle in to get groomed at a late appointment. I guess the groomer was new and didn't realize they were closing early at 7pm that night. I called when it was getting close to closing and was told it would be after hours before they were finished. Now in all honesty the young girl did tell me she was new and it wouldn't be perfect. However, I would have been happy with just okay. What I got was an hour and a half appointment resulting in a sloppily done job. There were tufts of hair left all over, parts left long, part almost skinned, the feet were left long which I specifically asked to be 'clean', hair under her legs patchy, hair over her eyes had not been cut and her tail was cut to the skin. Plus it was overpriced! $83 for a lousy job!

It's an ok pet store. Considering that it's one of 2 options in town this is the better one. Staff is really nice usually but sometimes you get someone who is really rude but I just chalk it up to them not having a good day. Most of the staff don't know how to work with the computer and if the manager isn't there then your SOL.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. I have 5 cats and 3 dogs, so we go through a lot of food. Shelves are usually full of what we need, and if not, there is an employee stocking it.

As far as Carlsbad goes, this is about as good as it gets. I've been in Pet Sense in other parts of the country that I have to say are much better stocked. They are very good about ordering things for you.

Absolutely worse grooming experience!!Paid for bath brush and blow dry . Added nail file deshed and oral care. I stood at the window and observed the girl did a great job with the bath and did a great job with the blow dry....... she only brushed him one stroke that’s it ...... then put a neck bandana thing on him and said here’s your dog . This is while I’m watching her the entire time ,, so who knows what they do when you’re not there definitely will never be back. Charge was $52 plus tax.

Trying to be PetCo/PetSmart, but not. Employees are usually friendly, but could certainly be more knowledgeable. The store could me cleaner, and a sense of pride in their work would really improve this business.

I was shopping here for dog food and they had a good variety. I was in the store for probably 20 min and no one asked if I needed help. If you buy dog food here and the bag has a hole, it's because the employees literally thrown the bags down the aisle.

I like Petsense but they really don't have a lot of stuff for rabbits. I went the other day to find some spray to prevent my rabbit from chewing the carpet but they don't have anything like that. They don't even sell rabbit cages and their alfalfa is expensive for a small bag. If you have a dog or cat this place is great! Otherwise go to tractor supply.

The store is always clean. The cats that are up for adoption are well cared for. The staff are always friendly and seem happy. The selection is very good especially for such a small store and the prices are good.

Just about anything you could need! Today I used the self serve pet tag engraving machine. You only pay the cost of the tag, not extra for more lines or even engraving the backside. My cats are very fashionable in their new collars!
