I was able to easily pull in and out with a 49 foot rig. We stopped to fuel up, that's it. The fuel pumps and environment were clean.

My husband and I were there on Oct. 31, 2017The girl took an order for a breakfast burrito, she was very rude, didn't ask, "Can i help you", more, "I can't hear, you! Well, do you want cheese!?" And the girl at the register was more interested in what was going on out the window then the customer in front of her. Sad, people, customers, have to get bad treatment in such a beautiful area.

It seems almost inevitable that I stop here any time I go through Capitan. The staff is always courteous and friendly, the bathrooms always clean and the selection always good and well stocked.

Capitans best and only fuel station. They carry multiple grades of gasoline and diesel fuel in stock.

The Brewer, besides having fuel, serves great breakfast burritos at a decent price. There is a community bulletin board where you can browse, buy, or sell, as well as post signs for a lost dog. They have a nice beer and soft drink selection, as well as having hard alcohol for mixed drinks, though they don't carry any of the high-end alcohol that stores in Ruidoso carry.Brewer also has a fueling station with an air hose for filling low tires. They offer a grilled4 which I haven' tried yet, and and an R.O. machine where one gallon of water cadts!
