I don’t eat the food here, but once in a while, I come here to get a mini sonic blast. Today 10/22/22, at around 2:30 pm. I went to this location and, at first, ordered Reese's blast with whipped cream. They tell me they don’t have any whipped cream. I was okay with that and just ordered Reese’s blasts. I get to the window, and they say they ran out of Reese’s, so I got an Oreo blast. I paid for it, and they handed it to me in the usual cup, but instead of the clear bowl lid it usually comes with, it had a regular soda lid. So, that was the first off thing about the blast. I open it up and see just a couple of big Oreo cookies sitting on top :|. I start thinking, “it looks like there are no Oreos in this blast.” I start digging more into it with a spoon, and sure enough, it’s just ice cream, and I see at the bottom of the cup some Oreo crumbs. I didn’t eat it at all. I threw the whole Blast away. I probably won’t go back to this location anymore.

I placed my order via the APP, paid for it, received receipt, checked in and then I sat for 30 minutes. Nobody would answer when I pushed the red button so I walked up to the lobby and asked what was going on with my order. At first they said they did not have my order. I showed my receipt and then they said that they did get my order but they were out of grape flavor slush. OK why didn't someone let me know this before I wasted 45 minutes of my day. No apology, no offer of compensation, nothing! I gave them several more chances and each time it was about the same outcome, wait was way too long and order was wrong or burnt.

Ordered a small online order through door dash, took the driver only 10 minutes to get there and they waited close to an hour. We even called when it had been 45 minutes and they said they were making our order. Waited another 15 minutes and nothing. Gave up and canceled our order. I even tipped the driver extra for having to wait for them to get their service together which never happened. Driver stated other people were going through drive thru with no issues and getting their orders. Should have been absolutely NO reason we didn't receive our order, even after an HOUR! And when I called to tell them our dasher was waiting for 45 minutes i didnt even get an apology or a reason for why it was taking so long. I've worked in customer service, fast food done it all. This was absolutely unacceptable, ridiculous, piss poor service. Won't be going back to this Sonic, ever.Also, maybe the owners should work on commenting on the reviews that are negative feedback instead of only the positive feedback reviews. Just a thought, that maybe you should care what happens in your restaurant and try to fix it with customers instead of ruining it at every angle.

Got wrong order except for hot dog. Took a long time to get correct sandwiches and second order of onion rings. Onion rings+ are not edible...not fully cooked, limp, coating separated, barely warm. We should have kept the tater tots with the wrong order even though they weren't really hot either.

Service was very unprofessional the lady on drive through had a friend in the drive through and talk to them for half an hour after I pulled up to a stall to not only get got we're short staffed and to go through drive through than proceed to help people who pulled up to stall after I did once at the window they proceed to talk and have the friend pick someone up very dissapointent in the night crew bunch of slack off and need a baby sitter very very unprofessional i hope corporate get ahold of for this behavior.

Seriously fast! I read all the comments about the slow service. We just traveled from South Texas and I have to say this was quickest service we've ever had. 5 mins top and the food was HOT! Now the only complaint I have is a medium here is a small in Texas. So, the large popcorn chicken was small. 5 stars to NMs Sonic

Living in different states over the pass 27yrs and moving back to NEW MEXICO. SONIC is always my favorite place to eat. I Have been to this SONIC more then once. I put up with the SLOW BAD customer services, because it's the nears one to me. I don't think i should travel to another local for better service....With that being said. Today I had the most WONDERFUL service I have ever had at this local. 🤯🤯THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING SURE MY ORDER WAS PERFECT.... "AMARIE"!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK NEED MORE WORKS LIKE YOU.👍🏽👍🏽Food was hot and delicious.👌🏽👌🏽🍔🍟🥤

No onion rings, mozzarella sticks or blue coconut. Old oil used, chicken tenders were extra crispy (I did not request it) and dark with a nasty flavor. The crackhead sitting outside against the wall was decorative though!

I ordered a #10 crispy chicken sandwich large fries and a route 44 cherry limeade. The girl taking the order thought I said extra ice, I said large fries. I get my order and the route 44 cup is full of ice, I told the car hop that I didn't order extra ice, I ordered large fries. She shrugged her shoulders and didn't bother to correct the issue, so I paid for a cup of ice. Customer service is becoming a thing of the past. So sad.

I haven't had a pleasant experience at Sonic for the entire year we've lived in Aztec. They don't seem to care about making sure the food is presentable. I've paid for things that are no longer available and they don't wanna give me my preferred substitute or refund the purchase price for what I ordered. It's just so disheartening to spend $20 on two people and our food look poorly put together along with wait staff that doesn't care. When we went the stalls where closed. We used the drive thru and then immediately parked in a stall to eat. I don't know how the staff didn't see us do this but when the food was wrong we pressed the button in the stall to advise and see if we could come back through the drive thru to have the food fixed. They guy said the stall was closed and refused to speak to us while parked there. I was furious bc we had food and it was wrong. They didn't tell me they were out of bacon but still charged me. They also didn't use fresh tomatoes nor any condiments as asked. It was sloppy and poor and I didn't want to eat that especially for the price we paid. So we go all the way back around, wait to speak to someone who told us they'd fix the food but they didn't. I wasn't advised about the lack of bacon until the manager came to discuss it with us. They didn't want to comp anything but tater tots and when I got my second sandwich it looked the same as the first one, a mess. I get so frustrated when I think of Sonic now, used to me one of my favorites, not here.

ENTIRE order was completely wrong.. went here to get a snack for after the Hot Springs..Evening shift was Understaffed an seemed more interested in talking rather than checking orders.. wasn't worth the drive..

Took over 25 minutes to get three drinks. There were no cars in the drive thru and only three parked with me. When I asked if they were hiring the young boy said "no we aren't, we are actually over staffed" so I had to ask what took so long for three simple drinks and he said "yeah I don't know"Either hire people willing to work or fire those that aren't. Being overstaffed usually means there's an abundance of employees to serve the customers in a timely manner. What happened to the timers above the orders? I've noticed many reviews about this recently.

The reason why i rated this 5 stars is because the food actually looks like the pictures! They have the best ice cream of any Sonic in the area - its very smooth and creamy, not grainy or icy like the others - and the staff is typically friendly.Update - I've been here several times over the years and must have had the best folks working that night I initially wrote the above review. On several occasions my order has been forgotten, and after ordering food I was informed it was in fact out of stock or condiments/plastic wear were out of stock! Where is the customer service??

EVERY time I go here they are out of something! One time I ordered the twisted bread with cheese. Got my order no cheese! Asked why, oh we r out of that!! Well why didn't they tell me that first?? Middle of the summer, sorry no ice cream??? Just went today, no medium cups!!! Used to be so good there when Gloria was the manager. They must have a kid running that place! So discouraging!

The girl working morning shift here is an absolute boss and deserves sonics love and a raise she legit run circles and still will smile and is just so positive when I come in she legit was the car hop cook and cashier this morning when I stopped in and made it look easy when we all know that sucked for her thanks girl your truly a mvp

Went today 4/13 to get some ice cream.pulled into stall 15, pressed the button, only to sit there for 10 minutes and get no one to answer.People who pulled into the drive thru (who came after I arrived and already activated the button) were serviced before myself, and still no one came through the speaker to take my order. Last time I checked, people who arrived first and are ready to order should be given a higher priority. Even if the machine was perhaps out of service there could have been a sign hung, or even a member of your crew could have been sent out instead of making customers wait.This sonic is starting to garner a reputation for bad service and I don't want to spend my time or my money here unless they clean up their act.

We ordered 5 shakes. 3 cars with full orders cleared out, and then a half dozen in the drive through. After more than half an hour we were the only car parked in sight, so we left without shakes. Don't waste your time with this one.

4 stars for good food and drinks! Don't know what these people are talking about, cold food, soggy food, poorly mixed ice cram, and so forth.Also the employees are always nice. Sometimes you can tell they're peeved but they don't take it out on you.Of course they also get your order wrong once in a while, they're only human, don't act like you never forget something or did something wrong in your lives, especially if you're stressed out. It happens. They'll be more than happy to fix it for you.Anyway, the food is good, always. Would've been 5 stars but the part about them being slow is true, but it's no biggie. The food is worth it.
