I love the Bloomfield Family Dollar store. They have great staff and generally the store is clean/well organized. Their prices are good and they have a pretty decent collection of food and household items. They are open late and you don't have to wait too long in line to checkout. I left my company debit card there one morning and when I called them about it the staff found my card and held it upfront for me until the next morning. I appreciated their honesty and integrity especially since that is rare nowadays. I was thankful they had the card and it wasn't taken by someone for bad purposes. I was lucky and grateful.

Yeahh all the bad reviews are true. I know this is a little town but JEESH, they are rude. Old ladies and teenagers going through a phase, honestly tiring. I remember needing something from an isle they were stocking on and the lady just grunted and gave me an ugly look when I asked for something. Another time I was looking at some chargers and gift cards and the woman said something with the words of "if you ain't gonna buy something get out", that might sound like a lie to make them look bad BUT of my god they are RUDE.Only good things are the clothes(sometimes).

The lady behind the counter not even in her uniform had her PJs on was talking with the cashier, giving me a go to he'll look and attude being hateful as hell! This is why I avoid going into this store always someone worker being hateful don't help always have a attude

Called the store just now to see if they had any headphones in stock. They happened to be out the other day. Instead of this woman telling me hold on I'll go check for you I got " I have no idea what you are talking about, you will have to come in and check yourself. Really? What great customer service....

So I love these lil pop in pop out places, they are always quick and easy. And they actually have some cute cloths and home decor stuff there. But the Family Dollar by my house is...... well every time I go in, there is an woman about late 50's that works there. And she insists on walking up and down EVERY ile I do, watching me and being overly helpful? As though she is watching to see if im going to steel from them or something? Lol whatever her reasoning is, I find it offensive! Im sure she is just trying to do her job, but watching someone like me to that extent is a little over the top! I would never steal from them or any store! I dont need to for one, but another reason is its wrong! Hopefully im over thinking this and she is just trying to be helpful? But because of this, I dont go into this Family Dollar as often.

I worked here..we had a good store....I am no longer employed here..however I met some of the nicest people (my customers) that I have had the pleasure to wait on!! Some of the other Managers could remember to treat those customers better...

Do not try to help out with the "coin shortage" haha! If you give more than what is owed including exact ( or near exact) change you will only confuse the cashier. 23.73 owed and 25.75 given. The cashier preferred 26 even because it was too much to calculate 2.02 in change.
