I will definitely recommend this Vet clinic for your pet. They were extremely patient with our dogs and thorough when explaining their needs and specifics about their health. Our pets usually behave a little anxious in other places but felt comfortable there and with the staff. All of our questions were answered in detail our visit was never rushed. And we received our pets lab work results soon after. We are happy to know our pets will be well taken care of. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF!!!

I was having a horrible day and screwed up the time of my appointment for my two dogs and showed up half an hour late. Dr. Spohn and her staff (I’m so sorry I didn’t get your names!) still made time for us even though we were clearly the last appointment there. They took the time to really listen to me, assess my dogs, explain treatment plans, all without feeling rushed. I felt like they really cared about the well-being of the dogs. I would highly, highly recommend Pawz to Care! Thank you all for your kindness!

I had to put my 15-year old Aussie down. She was with us since 2007... I love that dog and she was part of us. It was so hard. But, the receptionist helped me get through making an appointment. I thought I couldn’t even get that far. They were very kind to my dog and super patient with me. They explained everything and didn’t rush us. My dog kind of sat down as the premeds hit her and she just rested. And then she peacefully went to sleep and they administered the last dose. I was so sad I thought I was going to pass out, but they just understood. I was allowed my grief without concern. My dog was allowed a quiet passing. I cannot thank them enough helping me through the hardest decision. I still feel terrible, but at least my dog was treated so well and professionally and she doesn’t have to suffer any longer. ❤️

My pug Bubbles is limping for no obvious reason. Although not an immediate emergency, it was concerning enough to me that I have her evaluated as soon as possible. I was given an appointment four days later which is reasonable. Gayla, the receptionist, reached out to us the next day stating an appointment had opened up for that day! That meant so much to my family knowing that she remembered that Bubbles needed to be seen. We have always had a great experience with Pawz To Care however this simple yet kind gesture reinforced our thought that we truly have the best veterinary team!

Should be no stars! They offered my dog no service or options. They acted like I wanted everything for free even though I was willing to pay maybe it was my skin color. This was twice in a row they did this to me. Anywhere else is a better option.

Very communicative and friendly. Staying safe during covid times while also staying accommodating! Unfortunately received bad news about my dogs condition but they were very detailed and helpful in providing me with my next steps and what I need to do to help make my decision. Recommend.

We took our puppy to Pawz to Care after we found worms in her stool. They were great....not only did they get us in under a hour from calling, but the appointment was very informative and our puppy was feeling better in 24hours! I would definitely recommend this vet and we will be returning in the future!

I've been here a few times for my dogs and cat. Because of COVID you have to call in and wait outside, yet the team comes outside right to your face. Doesn't make sense. I set a neuter for my kitty, they require a check up first which was about $120 (that's after a 25% discount from a pet insurance i have). They said I'd get $60 back from the blood work once i did the neuter. I ended up not needing to do the neuter but didn't the $60 back 😂 one way or another, they keep your money.

I called in the morning as my girl was not looking good. Jody the receptionist was so kind and asked me when. I said ASAP. She got me scheduled for that afternoon. The doctor was right on time. She let my dog lie on the couch where she usually say. She was so patient and let us watch all the prep. I was the one to say when. She let me carry her to the day for her last ride wrapped in her favorite blanket. I can not say enough about how wonderful everyone was. Did not have to wait another day to send my sweetie to her peace. Would highly recommend these angels to help you through a difficult time.

These are two of the best vets I have ever dealt with. They are not only knowledgable but very compassionate. I have had three furbabys euthanized by them, and they did their best to help us through it. Highly recommend these folks. I am a medical doctor too!

I was so thankful for this vet. hospital. They were the 5th hospital I had gone to, to get my dog a rabies shot. My dog needed a current rabies to get groomed. Thanks to all the wonderful ladies we are good.

I was very impressed with the entire staff at Pawz To Care! I walked into their vet clinic this morning with my male miniature schnauzer . He had been vomiting a lot after getting an insect bite. Dr. Lauryn was very professional, polite, & listened as I explained what I suspected happened to him.My previous vet could not take him in today, & did not even give me any alternative recommendations of where to take him.Thank you Pawz To Care staff for helping my Winston! I would highly reccomend pawz to care. We had to euthanize our 10 year old German Shepherd "Bullet". From the very first phone call the staff was empathetic and professional. We felt that they actually cared about our position rather than rattling off a price list like other vets did.The doctor arrived promptly on a holiday and stayed with us for over an hour making sure Bullet was calm and sedated before proceeding.We are so sad that our shepherd has passed but thank you for your compassion and kindness throughout the process.

Pawz to Care was so kind and caring when it was time for my old cat, Edgar, to make his passage from this life last month. He was a little difficult at first because he was scared, but the doctor and the tech handled it with great kindness and helped him relax. I Love this Vet Clinic. When we were in Tx a few months ago, we had diarrhea issues with one of our dogs. I took him to our previous vet in McKinney and $450.00, 1/2 day and multiple tests later it only came down to he was fine. wait it out with a bland diet with special food I had to purchase from them and pills he did not need.45 days later one of our little girl's had similar issues. I bought her to Pawz To Care.I was there for 40 minutes max. No unnecessary test (she said she could but it would be a waste of $ unless the situation continued). She instructed a bland diet, total cost $42.00. Dolly was fine a couple of days later.On another issue, our McKinney vet wanted to put one of our boys on allergy shots to the tune of $400.00 a month! I declined their offer and we used children's allergy pills that I found worked fine after much on line research.When we moved here to Bernalillo, Pawz To Care wrote a script for Vetadryl which works fine for him and is only $20.00 a month. I love this vet clinic

They were very good along the way as our dog went downhill, but the mobile unit that came to our house was not good putting him down. They could not get the meds in the vein to calm him so eventually just shot him in the heart. It was a very sad time of course, but we paid for both meds I'm sure and there was no offer for partial refund. Not that I would have necessarily taken it but it would have been acknowledgment that they understood it did not go as planned and it was harder on our boy.

Dr. Spohn has been taking care of my 19 year-old Penney for a few years now, and I couldn't ask for better care for this little girl. By far the BEST veterinary services one can find in the area! Dr. Spohn is incredibly thorough in her approach and makes sure that you are fully aware of all options available for your pet. Service is never rushed and as a result, Dr. Spohn takes the time to really get to know your pet and to tailor services to your pet's particular needs. While the office is located in Bernalillo, I guarantee you that the drive from Albuquerque is also worth your time!!! Hands-down AMAZING services!
