Just arrived home from picking up some chicken feed and dog food from Bernalillo Feed.I noticed the bag of chicken crumbles had a couple of tears , I asked the warehouse man to exchange it for a different bag that wasn't ripped, and the owner who was standing a few feet away asked him why he was bringing the ripped bag back into the warehouse.I responded that I didn't want a ripped bag.Long story short, he assured me that it was a full bag, and none of the contents had spilled out.Well, I trusted him, but I have a scale in my garage, and when I got home, I weighed it.My 50 lb bag only weighed 47 lbs.I then noticed that the dog food bag that I bought was taped up. It had a huge hole in the bag.It was 3 lbs light also.Needless to say, that was the last time I'll buy anything from Mr Honest again.I know he's not going to miss my 70-80 dollars every 8-9 days. It is all about being fair and honest.

You will find everything when it comes to feeding your animals here employees are always friendly and willing to help, the owners are great and honest about their products! Will recommend Bernalillo feed to friends and family!

Sickening! 🤢 the poor animals are kept in horrible conditions .. there are sick chicks kept with live ones in the same place… no water or food for the animals. The goats and pigs are kept together in a very small space where they can barely take a few steps before stepping on each other . Not to mention they look very depressed. One of the adult chickens had open wounds while the other chickens pecked at it continuously…I’ll be surprised if it even makes it till the end of the week before dying of an infection or being eaten alive.😢these animals are getting neglected & they don’t even care to do anything. I was a loyal customer but not anymore. I’d rather not do business with people that are okay with animal cruelty. Bad customer service as well I don’t know what is going on here but it is not okay! 😡

I spent many thousands of dollars buying mostly dog food in this store. Recently they have some super terrible customer service, rude and unrespectful. Animals are sick and dying. Never going back to that store again. Stay away from them!!!

I bought a bag of grain took it home and it was molded. Took it back in a tub as I had thrown away the bag before I noticed it was molded and the gentleman would not give me back my tub and said he didn’t have any other place to put the grain to give me my tub back. The very rude employee made it sound like he was doing me a favor by giving me another bag of grain. Took it home, opened it up, and once again, the grain was molded.

Above and beyond costumer service!!!! Had an issue with my truck on a Friday night... not only did every single store employee try to help, they called their mechanic friends to help and even neighbors stopped by to try to fix it. Amazed and grateful!!!!

I really like this place bc there are always all kinds of farm pets to buy. Turkeys, pigs, cocatiels, chicks, rabbits...The staff is very friendly and thier grain prices are reasonable. They have a good variety of pet foods and snacks for you.

I used to love coming here to get water, buy lottery tickets and cash them. Recent employees have no trouble keeping some of my winnings. Tho the winnings are meager I prefer not to challenge them as they seem to need it more than me.

Oh, how I wish I knew this store was here when I moved here a couple years ago! The gentleman behind the counter was so helpful! The gentleman outside loading my car was awesome as well! Both very informative, and courteous! I'll definitely be back!

Love this place. Good place for an ice cream 😋. We also get our drinking water here. It's also fun to see the livestock. Gas is also good, especially when I can use my Albertsons gas points. One of my favorite places to visit.

Went to buy chicken and dog food today was confronted by one of the owners I was parked at a gas pump and not getting gas and needed to move but there was no place to move cause parking lot was full. I will take my business to tractor supply from now on

The first time I went too many animals were crammed together in small spaces with no water and little to no food. I decided to give them another chance and got some chicks from them. While the workers were friendly and helpful, this chicks we got were not healthy. 2 of the 6 we got died within 3 days of bringing them home. When I called to ask about it they said once they leave the property it's not their problem. The other 4 chicks are now on antibiotics and extra vitamins. They started gurgling so we're pretty sure it's a respiratory infection. I'm hoping they pull through. I won't be shopping there again for feed or animals.

I just want to start off by saying that animals pecking each other is sadly a natural instinct. When one is weak or there are too many roosters that's what happens. It's a fact of life. There's nothing cruel about it. These animals are raised mostly for food purposes sweetheart. They're going to die anyways LOL With that being said I really like the bernalillo feed store. They always have a decent variety of animals on hand. They are knowledgeable about what they are doing. And I believe they do have good customer service.

This is definitely a unique property. It is a fuel station, convenience store, and feed store that serves ice cream. There is quite a large selection of interesting things here and I would recommend to stop at least once to see it. Kind of weird but I did get to pet a baby goat here and a large bunny that are for sale here. Once again a very diverse location that is extremely interesting.

Woooow! I called before I went all the way up to bernalillo feed to find out if they had they had silky chicks. I was told yes. I get up there and the only thing they have is a crotchy old silky rooster!So I thought maybe easter eggers. The older man I asked about where the Easter egger pullets were pointed out a pen and said there. It was a mix of different pullets and I could not tell from one from another and he did not either.Rude, no help at all, I found silkie 1 year olds elswhere in Isleta! If you need to set up a backyard chicken habitat and you need smaller chickens or help, don't go here!The know nothing about the breeds of chickens they have! If they know, they dont care to help! He COMPLETLY ignored me after his initial encounter!Make me believe he was a misogonist!

You never know what sort of animals you'll find when you come here! One time they had micro pigs!! We like going for the chicks and ducklings. Also they have name brand high protein crumble for only $14. Friendly staff great prices. Don't forget to grab an ice cream cone when you're finished!!!

Mostly good people but they have a guy that works there that wanted a small Turkey my mom wanted2 baby Turkey's,That they had at the shop!!! And he sold my elderly mother a chicken instead of a Turkey so he could have his!!! He sais he was taking it home with him and he got his Wish, most of the guy's that work there you can trust, it's a good place to get your livestock just not with that guy!!!🤦‍♂️

A REAL FEED STORE! Feed for every animal including pets. Plus, chicks, ducklings, etc., when in season. This place is a really fun adventure. Be sure to take the kids there, even if you are just passing through on I-25. It is 2 minutes off the I-25 freeway.

Bernallilo Feed, store is my go to place to buy high quality dog food for my little friend. Besides the fact that their is a feed store it's also a Chevron gas station. They sell a variety of goods their. Practically everything for pets and livestock combined. They also sell pig's, chick's goat's you name it,the staff there are really friendly and attentive to your needs. On top of all that they also have a unique small grocerie section. Parking is limited but easy to get to ,they also sell hay and food for livestock. They kind of remind me of a store out in the country somewhere but the location can be seen from the street. They also sell medical supplies for pets and livestock if you're interested. Don't take my word for it. however you truly have to check it out for yourself. It's a great place to shop for all things concerning pets horse's cow's etc.

You can get HAY! ***They have chicks and ducks and goats.Saddles, hats, you name it.WATER KING sales. Bring your own container, or they have them for sale there too. The public restroom is always useful and clean. The gas price is reasonable: 2.07/ gallon. It recently changed to Chevron. But I think it's still owned by the family. There are animals for sale including feed supply. EBT is accepted.

This feed store is disgusting! The first time I went there, the chickens outside were missing over half of their feathers ( from their neck and wings). There were so many dead chicks inside of the feed store, i let one of the workers know and she said "we know, we will get to it shortly". Like you don't just leave dead animals with live animals, i was literally watching the chicks die with my own eyes. Not only that they have a small pen full of the metal water containers for live stock they have 3 sheep and a goat, its obvious they are negleted as well based on how the sheeps fleeces are growing. I dont recommend you get any live animals from here.

Great family owned feed store!! They have lots of doggie treats, food, etc.! If you have farm animals they have all your needs covered. I always get my lottery tickets there too. I like the coke in the bottle feom Mexico made with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup and you can always get those there. I like Chevron gas and their gasoline prices are very competitive. Very friendly snd helpful staff. Love this feed store.

Animal cruelty! If I could give 0 stars I would. Over 30+ chickens packed in a small area. Chickens neglected. When brought it to their attention they did not seem to care. After buying several chickens from this place 3/6 died within 3 days.
