I went in for a chainsaw, and was helped by Joseph, who also does chainsaw repair. He went over the machine’s operation, the maintenance cycle, and made sure the chainsaw would run without problems before I left. It reminded me of the hardware stores I went to with my folks in the eighties. Highly recommended.

It's great to have a mom and pop store nearby and close to home. Even though Ace Hardware is a corporate franchise. I still appreciate the service and the convenience. And the people who work are always nice and helpful.

I use to visit the big orange box store. Occasionally a smaller store because it was close. After they opened this store I started shopping here. They have a better selection on everything I have looked for. The staff is right on top of things from the time you walk in. Sometimes I go to one of these stores and just wonder around and find things I didn't know I wanted. Lol have always been treated as if they want me to come back . So I Don't mind driving the extra miles just to see their smiles, well now that's not true because visible smiles are not allowed. Great store thank You. This is my latest project and you might not think you can find stuff for something like this but you would be wrong.

This Ace is reminiscent of the neighborhood hardware store. A little bit of everything. Some good advice and humor.Think Big Box with mom and pop personality and competitive pricing.I bought keys (yes, they worked first time), drywall cornerbead, and a sharpie. Im doing a small commercial TI job in Belen, and this little big shop has saved me from driving 30 minutes out of my way to get parts and supplies. A gem in the desert!

Amazing customer service! Went to the paint department and got what we needed. They didn't have the exact paint that we wanted that we had picked out online, but they color matched it as best as they could.

It's ace. If you need to build, plant, paint,plumb or better secure the back gate. I'll just say it like it is. Ace is the place. Little hint hint if you need to secure the back gate. When mounting the latch Instead of the factory mounting screws. Use 5/16 all thread and 7/16 nuts. Tighten them down and weld the nuts to the all thread.

I was looking for a packing washer for a leaky faucet, I could not locate the item. So I asked one of the employees that works there and he didn't know what I was talking about. I told him that I would show him on one of the other faucets. He didn't want to do that. Said I needed to bring in the faucet. So I left without a packing washer and haven't been able to fix the leak yet.

Great little hometown hardware store. Employees are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Prices are a little higher, but it is worth not having to go to Los Lunas for most things.

- minus 3 stars was accused of stealing proved nothing wss in my purse and no apology. Always shopped at ace for home stuff have spent alot of money there they need to accuse the ones who are thiefs instead of people who work and buy there things. Very dissapointed would love to speak with a owner or corporate at this company

Came in today as I needed to add a counter weight balance for my telescope mount. A very strange ask I know. However Joseph was super friendly and helpful. I brought the telescope and mount into the store and he helped me build out the counter weights using heavy washers with a metal extender and screws. It all worked perfectly and I only purchased what I needed in a single trip! Joseph's service was out of this world!!! Thanks again ACE!!!Please enjoy some pictures I took in Belen, NM recently. (M42) The Orion Nebule & (NGC 2023) The Horse Head Nebula along with C/2022 E3 (ZTF) which is the Comet that hasn't visited us for 50,000 years.

This place is great. The store is clean and well stocked. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and know the people that come in frequently. The prices are good, similar to a larger hardware store. The selection is very good for weekend tasks and small projects (they have had everything I've ever looked for) , which is perfect because before these guys opened, we had to drive 15 miles to the nearest hardware store (which was a huge pain, especially when there is multiple trips to the hardware store involved.)

Everytime I go for pellets , these guys are so amazing there's one man in particular an older gentleman and he is amazing. Kind caring and he opens my door for me after he loads the pellets in my van . All the workers are amazing but this one goes above and beyond . Thank you Chris !! , you have no idea how much your kindness helps . My husband who usually takes care of this is in the hospital with covid .. you always make my trip less stressful and just heartwarming that there's still people in this world like you ♥

Boy oh boy do I like this store. And best part is that its close to where I live..so even better. I like places that offer you coupons.. A big plus for me. Customer service is excellent!!! They are trained very well so it makes the trip easy and stress free.

I went into the store for the first time today. The staff greeted me and were very friendly. They were very helpful, but not clingy. What impressed me most was the wide variety of products. I went in for a bolt and was directed to the aisle they were in. OH MY GOD, they were in bins and drawers. No packs of 10 to 20. A REAL HARDWWARE STORE. I got what I needed and just wondered around a bit. I looked for items that I had bought at the closest big box lumber outlet recently and they had them all. And the pricing was competitive. This store is now my go to for hardware in the future.
