I can't say enough about how awesome my elk hunt was with Bugling Bull Outfitters. My brother Brent and I were able to harvest 2 great bull elk. All of the guides were very knowledgeable about where the elk were located. We were in the middle of bugling bulls every hunt. Curtis was my guide when I was blessed to take the bull of my dreams. All 9 hunters were successful on taking bull elk, the camp was nice, food was good and plenty of it.Thanks to everyone at Bugling Bull Outfitters for an awesome elk hunt. I would hunt with this outfitter again.

Updated review -I have now been hunting six years with Curtis for elk, mule deer, antelope and Barbary sheep. This past October I successfully completed another tough but thrilling elk with my good friend. Every hunt has been an outstanding experience. Curtis's knowledge of the pursued animal and the terrain they inhabit is impressive. During my first elk hunt with him I heard and saw more bull elk in the first hours of the hunt than I did on 4 previous elk hunts in three different states. My only complaint was that it was too short of a hunt as I tagged out that morning. I have 45 years hunting experience on public and private land and been on numerous outfitted hunts for a variety of species. I have been to some very nice camps and lodges with great food and accommodations but little or no game. If you are ready for an authentic HUNTING experience in a great camp, then I highly recommend Bugling Bull Outfitters.

If you are looking for an outfitter that knows the terrain, where the elk are and are the hardest working guides I have ever hunted with....then Bugling Bulls is the Outfitter you are looking for. These guys are no nonsense and provide you with your best chance to get your Bull! I hunted Elk with this team in both 2021 and 2023. Saw Elk in 2021 but did not get a crack at the Bull I was looking for. In 2023 that changed I got my bull! Allen pictured above with a great 6x6 was my partner in 2023. It was awesome to experience his kill prior to getting my Bull. The guides are balanced and you can be comfortable with your hunt regardless which one you have. Can't thank Curtis, Tristen and Dale enough for providing me with an experience of a lifetime!

We hunted Aoudad with Bugling Bull Outfitters and we were very satisfied with Curtis's (Owner) services from the application process all the way through to the end of the hunt. Outstanding experience. These guys went above and beyond. They have passion for what they do and worked their tails off every day to ensure we had what we needed and put us in front of a ton of animals. Curtis was very informative leading up to the hunt and while hunting. They will put in the miles to get you where the game is so, be sure to do your part to be in shape, have the proper gear, practice your shooting and you will have an amazing experience. We are looking forward to our hunt with them next year.

This is the second year I have hunted antelope with bugling bull outfitter. Last year my wife and I both shot great bucks and this year my dad and I both shot great bucks. Curtis and all his guides are great people that know the units and how to find the big bucks. I would highly recommend using bugling bull outfitters!! My wife and I are heading back out in November for a mule deer and we can’t wait!!

Great outfitter. Curt is great to work with and paired me up local guides. Guides (Dominic and Pat) knew the unit like the back of his hand. Curt had no problem making sure I had plenty of opportunity. Toughest and most satisfying hunt I have ever been on. Successful first ever Elk hunt and drove home to fill the freezer. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Contacted Bugling Bull Outfitter’s prior to the draw. Helped with the NM draw web sight getting the correct tag/area for mule deer.Myself and a good friend drew a mule deer tag for 1st rifle.Outfitter’s Camp is set up 5 miles outside of town easy to access, typical deer/elk camp. Nice white wall tents with cots and a small heater. Camp had 6 total guys hunting. Two hunters one guide system that made it easy.Got to camp on Friday at noon, ate and early dinner and had a group conversation with Mr. Davis about expectations and a little gun safety in camp. 3 meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner.Curtis was our guide for the week who put us on multiple deer everyday. Seen elk, sheep and lots of mule deer. Harvested a mule deer at 300-350 yards. Lots of shots to be had at 200-300 yards and a few at 400-500 yards.This outfitter hunts hard and fast. Curtis was spotting deer like the Hubble telescope spotting stars, it was impressive.Terrains we hunted were great, lots of walking and glassing. Had multiple guys in camp complaining about walking and glassing so much for deer. My friend and I hunt this way back home, so really it was no issue for us. We like to walk/spot and stalk.I believe this group of guides give 110% in an effort to obtain shots at animals. Curtis showed great knowledge of the land and area we hunted. The guides work together, if multiple bucks are seen trying to make something happen for you. Don’t know what else you could ask for in a guide. They are passionate about hunting as well as ethical.If you’re expecting a deer to be in a small pen or tied to a tree for your to shoot this style of hunting isn’t for you. Be sure to shoot 100,200,300 yards prior to getting to camp. I used a BOG pod for shooting. Great piece of equipment for a steady shot.We will be booking again for next year and looking forward to having a guide with a full 5 days of energy that matches ours. Booked a 7 day elk hunt with Curtis Davis, who is the owner operator of Bugling Bulls Outfitters. This hunt was a truly amazing experience from the afternoon we arrived till the morning we left.The camp is maintained by Curtis's father Dale, (a retired guide) who also serves as the camp cook, he does a fantastic job keeping everyone fed, along with Thomas who helps Dale. The camp also included Curtis's brother Tristan and Edwin who are also guides. Curtis told us if we wanted to get in camp by noon on Friday we could get an extra afternoon of hunting in. So from that first afternoon and throughout the week we were in the elk, we either had shot opportunities or saw elk on every hunt. All of these guides put the effort and time into getting you on a bull, from going out at night after the hunt to listen for where the bulls are, to walking these areas when they do not have a hunter to guide and sharing the information with the other guides. These men are not afraid of hard work and will put forth the effort to help you achieve the success you're looking for. Additionally I have a bad knee and while I was willing to hunt the higher elevations where the mountains are very steep, they made the extra effort to hunt some areas that were not as steep without my asking them. All of them care about the comfort and success of their hunters, they treat every hunter with respect and as a friend with the typical hunt camp banter.While I had a 330-340 class bull at 15 yards I did not have a shot opportunity, and I passed several bulls throughout the week while finally choosing to shoot a 4X4 on the last morning of the hunt. I cannot recommend this outfitter enough, I know I will be back again next year. Thank you Curtis for an awesome adventure.

Awesome experience for my first elk hunt! All the guides were wonderful, knowledgeable, had our lodging set up ready for us when we got there, and cooked us 3 meals a day. They took care of all the hard work once I killed my elk and did a great job making sure everything was taken care of. Highly recommend!

Took a couple of years to actually get the tag I wanted to go see Curtis for a hunt. During that time he was fantastic helping with units and just overall questions about hunting a state I’d never hunted. Got my speed goat and had a fantastic time, can’t wait to go back!!!

Did a multi day waterfowl hunt with Curtis and BB outfitting crew. Very knowledgeable and professional operation. Had the area scouted and worked hard keeping us on the birds - had limits of quality birds daily. Couldn’t ask for a better hunt….heading back next year for the same hunt as well as putting in for a couple big game draws in NM.

I have hunted with Curtis the last 2 years. The first year for elk which was a outstanding hunt. It took 4 days of hard hunting and I harvested a 6x6 that was with 8 cows. His knowledge of calling and when not to got me a 60 yard shot. I passed on several smaller bulls but had action every day. No lodge, but sleeping in tents only made it more of a rewarding hunt. This year I went back for antelope and again had a great hunt, after spotting a group of 10 at approximately a mile away, we proceeded to stalk with a cow decoy and got to 130 yards where I harvested a 15 inch antelope. I plan on returning next season for either elk or mule deer.and I’m sure that I won’t be disappointed.

An amazing experience and hospitality with lodging and cooked meals! Everyday of my elk hunt we were on big bulls, I have never seen anything like it. Curtis knows the terrain well and will put you on big bulls. 12/10 hunt, I will be back many times as you will never hear or see that many big bulls anywhere else.

One of the best hunting trips I ever had with an outfitter! My son and I went on a father and son Elk Hunting trip in early September (Archery). When my son and I got to camp we were treated to some of the best hospitality and cooking that we have ever eaten! This outfitter knows exactly what they're doing and what they're talking about. They will give you the opportunity to get the biggest animal that you're chasing. Never told him that my son and I were African American and they treated us as if we were family. Awesome outfitter and I will be going out with them again next year!

Curtis was awesome! Guided me on a duck hunt in an extremely public area and outperformed everyone around us. Had other hunters surrounding us in every direction and all the ducks seemed to only like our spread. Shot a three man limit in record time. Highly recommended!
