This was by far the best rental shop in all of Angel fire, has the best location, prices, and staff out of all of Angel-fire.We showed up with a party of 9 with no reservation and were helped in a very timely Manner, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about how ski and snowboard shoes are supposed to fit/feel. We had to show back up the the shop several times to extend rentals or try out the other sport and were always treated great.

Snowblaze is THE place to rent gear at Angelfire. Their location to the slopes is perfect and their customer service is second-to-none. Tim and Kelly took fantastic care of our group and made sure we had everything we needed. Even when changes were needed throughout our visit they made sure to do us right.I don’t write many reviews for businesses, but the crew at Snowblaze has earned this one. Thank you Tim and Kelly for helping make our visit to Angelfire one to remember!

Great experience. Closest rental to the lifts. Overnight storage included. Well maintained equipment. We ate lunch on their patio one day to escape the crowds. Can't imagine why you'd rent from anyone else. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the only place to rent your equipment in Angel Fire. They're always happy, helpful and encouraging to everyone from start to finish. We love them and have been using them for 20 years. They're like family.

Update-If your going to Angel Fire for your next ski trip, forget the resorts outdated equipment rentals and impersonal attendants.Do yourself a favor and stop in at the Snowblaze Ski Shop, it’s my go-to spot for rental equipment.Snowblaze remains THE best spot for ski/ snowboard rentals in Angel Fire.Snowblaze rents up to date and quality equipment, is located right across the road from the Chili Express chair lift and the prices are the best in town. The service at Snowblaze is second to none, friendly and efficient! They have been in business since 1982 and also provide free overnight ski/ snowboard storage.Stop in and visit and get your rental equipment, they will be your new go-to spot.Previous post-This was our first time renting from Snowblaze Ski Shop. It will certainly not be the last. Excellent service, best price in town, great equipment and location!

SERVICE, LOCATION and PRICE can't be beat! Kelly at snowblaze was a joy to work with. So accommodating and kind. On slower weekends she allows you to use the locker at the shop for free to store all your gear overnight. The shop is directly across the parking lot from the Chile Express Lift. Couldn't be more convenient. This is your spot. Especially if you have young kids like we did.

Snowblaze ski shop was by far the BEST ski/board rental experience that we have had in Angel Fire. Everyone was extremely friendly even their handsome dog Bruiser. They are right near the lift too!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, willing to stay late to help customers. Helpful and caring to folks of all ages. Great location with easy access to the chairlift. Restaurant located within a few steps for a quick bite or a meal after a full day on the slopes. Highly recommend to first timers as well as experienced skiers and boarders.

Not helpful, rude, don't honor reservations and don't care. Reserved rentals, showed up and they didn't have part of our groups equipment. They left and we went through with our rental as we were already there. One guy complained the whole time he was setting up my board because it was too hard and they obviously knew we were 1st timers and didn't explain anything to us. When I went back to exchange my snowboard for skis, they didn't explain anything again. I learned how to use the equipment from watching people on the slopes. It's easy to use now, but I didn't know anything. It was a bunch of kids running the place and if this is your 1st time experience go with someone else. If you've been before then it's probably okay. The only ➕️'s was they were right across from the lift and they stayed open past the lift time so returning was easy.

My son and I have been renting our ski equipment here for the last 10 years. This is the best place in New Mexico! It is a Mom and Pop shop and they both are wonderful! We always get perfect equipment, friendly service, and the best price in Angel Fire! If you forget gloves or sunscreen or other sundries you can buy it here at very reasonable prices. I always tell my friends to rent here!

My wife and I have rented ski equipment from John and Odile at Snowblaze Ski Shop for years and we've never had any problems or issues with them. My experience with the people at Snowblaze has always been great. John and Odile are old ski bums and they've carried the spirit of that laid-back approach to skiing and life into their shop. Plus, I really like that their shop is located right across the road from the ski area chair lift and that there's no need to ride the shuttle.Snowblaze has good equipment, an excellent location, and great prices. Being a small shop, they don't look to me like they can handle as much traffic as some of the bigger shops, but with us they've always provided excellent customer service at a convenient location.Angel Fire is fortunate for a small skiing village to have so many good ski shops, including my favorite, Snowblaze. I think it's one of Angel Fire's best-kept secrets. Check it out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Reserved a month in advance and they had none of our boards or boots! They said "maybe we did but we must have gave them to someone else"I said what are we supposed to do about our rentals?? And they responded without remorse maybe somewhere else can help....

This place was HORRIBLE. They put my son on a snowboard that was way to small for him and one of the straps was broken. He ended up having to get picked up by the ski patrol because his board was not useable and he had hurt his foot when the buckle wouldn't hold. When I took the equipment back, they admitted to me that the board was not his size- "but they were busy and didn't have the right size". They made it clear they did not offer refunds and I left to go get my son's foot taken care of. The next day, a woman from the shop called me to say that my son had not returned his boots- I told her I returned them- that I was the upset woman who had come in and complianed the day before. She said- and I quote "we don't care about that" and she abruptly hung up on me.'
