upon check in they gave us paperwork saying what unit was ours, how to take the trash out, what the wifi password is. well they gave us the wrong wifi name/code so it didnt work. called the after hours number, that employee gave us the same wrong info, so we didnt have internet. the next day the office texted asking if we tried the name/code they emailed us 6 mo ago when we booked. turns out that worked, but no i just went off the paperwork they gave me, that their employee on the phone insisted was correct.i asked for a $50 credit, they not only wouldnt even admit they had done anything wrong, after texting them a picture of their paperwork with the wrong name/code on it, they were unwilling to do anything for us to make up for it.if your looking for a place to stay, they have beds. but if anything happens while you are there, they will actively go out of their way not to help.

I got a condo for the week from them and it was actually more than I expected. It was warm & comfortable with all of the added amenities of home. Would definitely return again.

Stayed for 5 months. Property was not well maintained, water heater only gave 5 minutes of water. Only cleaning supplies was a broken broom and a handheld vacuum from the 80’s. Would not trust my property with them. Secondly, I was accused of not paying rent only to go into the office and show payment receipt on card that I gave on file for auto payment… 2 months later they double charged me rent. We resolved the problem and spoke with manager saying I was all paid up for my entire stay confirming this. Just received another bill for for a months rent that apparently I was not charged for? Poor management and lack of communication.

The website took our reservation and card information, but didn’t book our condo. We realized this almost an hour from Angel Fire. Not cool. When I called to sort this out, customer service representative told us that the website doesn’t accept same-day reservations—despite the fact that the website accepted our same day reservation. The truth is that the company doesn’t recognize same-day reservations and they fail to mention this anywhere on their website. Thankfully, there were better rental options available.

We stayed at the Quivera Cabin and it has been a wonderful experience! -the cabin is amazing! The staff at Resort Properties are very nice and helpful and fixed our heat issue quickly. This is one of the best vacations we have ever taken as a family, and we will definitely return to this cabin many times! Thanks again to Resort Properties for helping make memories for our family we will never forget!

Me and my Family had a great experience with resort properties of angle fire. We rented alpine crest for the weekend and it was one of the most amazing place we have ever rented. The views were breathtaking great to relax in the mornings. The place was super clean. Thank you for making sure the house was Clean and sanitized now with this pandemic going on we didn’t worry about our baby’s getting sick because the house was dirty. It made our stay 100 percent better. The only disappointment was that the hot tub didn’t keep the temperature hot. We paid 250 + tax for the hot tub and we could only used it Friday and half of Saturday because the temp didn’t go more than 67F. Even though that was a bummer we had an amazing vacation. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Spent a wonderful month of August in Angel Fire in a spacious home right next to a hiking trail. House was immaculate with easy check in/check out. Will definitely be back to experience this little slice of paradise.

We rented a condo at Ski-Run through Resort Properties. The condo was comfortable, clean and very affordable. It was also right next to the slopes. We had a heater problem after hours. We called the after hours number and within 15 minutes the repairman showed up and we were fixed up a few minutes later. The staff is very professional and eager to make your stay a pleasant experience. No doubt, when we go back, we will definitely book through Resort Properties.

First off I blame myself for this last minute weekend vacation, everything was booked in Red River and only found this place. Nevertheless I work hard for my money and I don't expect to have this strong pungent/musty smell smack me in the face as soon as me and my family walk into our room i just spent hundreds of dollars on. Much less go turn on the shower and have this God forsaken sulfur/raw sewage smell take over the entire room. Both odors making us sick to our stomachs and giving us headaches not to .mention the frustration not just because of the money I spent but also the disrespect and inconsiderate service I got when I brought it to the manager's attention. I was told to basically deal with it, that the smell would go away in time oh sorry I forgot I was told I would be refunded 45 dollars for our inconvenience. We were excited to stay a new place just to be sadly disappointed and without a doubt make our minds up to never stay in Angel Fire again. oh yeah not a big deal but tv in master bedroom only had 1 channel lol. Here is to lessons learned

We own two condos in Angel Fire, both of which are managed by Resort Properties of Angel Fire. Our relationship with Resort Properties started in 1999 and to this date have never had a problem with maintenance of the units. If we do find something out of sorts, we call the office and they get it corrected. Overall, we're very happy with the owners and employees of Resort Properties. When we have needed the services of various tradespeople they've never steered us in the wrong direction. We know several other non-resident owners that feel the same way.

As a person that tends to be froogle and conservative with their vacation plans, spending roughly $2,000 on a VRBO for what I would consider a splurge of luxury only to have that money taken, not returned, not rescheduled and no services rendered really hits a person in the gut. I didn’t have the opportunity to stay at Angel Fire Resorts, so I cannot speak to their property itself. I can however, share with you my experience with their management company and lack of care for their renters. I messed up booking here because I booked it 60 days out and realized I double booked myself the next day.Their policy is that they won’t cancel within 60 days. After talking to the management company and being told flatly, no refund, no other solution was provided. After asking VRBO what we can do, we relayed the suggestion to the management company and they reluctantly agreed to push our reservation to the summer but, of course, for peak pricing. New Mexico has stated that any travelers from out of state must quarantine themselves for 14 days before they can do anything. We called the property manager up and explained the issue with coming and not being allowed to enjoy the area. They suggested that we come regardless and not only risk the further spread of a pandemic but also break their state’s mandated orders. The management company clearly don’t think they should adhere to the state’s health orders nor do they take it seriously. I even see this on another review left during the state’s health order. This effectively cancelled the VRBO reservations which didn’t allow us to leave a review on VRBO. We learned that VRBO asked all their hosts to allow guests to move or credit their reservations due to the unprecedented global pandemic. Luckily, the property management company accepted VRBO’s request/recommendation. They flatly said «no refund», we can only cancel and keep your money.Because like millions of people in America’s shrinking middle class, I’m worried about money. Instead of working with me on allowing my money to provide a future reprieve from a stressful, pandemic then naturally declared disaster, they told us they are only «looking out for the property owner». It seems to conduct business this way is not looking out for the property owner but actively working against them. I have explained to multiple people in my life in-person and on various social media platforms to avoid this place. It isn’t worth the risk of loosing your money here. I don’t think any company should ever take thousands of dollars from someone and not get anything in return, at the very least empathy. They will likely respond to this review with their canned, we are sorry about your poor experience...then they will try and restate an aspect or two of the content within this review, but this is a continuous concern that the property owner should take action on. They are loosing guest in the long term limiting their potential earnings by having this management company work for them. They might even respond to their attempt to be negligent their own states health orders even though their conversations and actions don’t match their procedure response. I hope this helps you in making the best decision for you and your family.

I had an excellent experience with Resort Properties of Angel Fire. My husband and I booked our vacation MONTHS in advance, to take our kids skiing for the first time at spring break. We had booked very reasonable lodging through airbnb, and 2 weeks before our vacation, the host cancelled on us. Having already purchased ski school, rentals, lift tickets, etc etc, we knew we had to find a place to stay, but finding something in our budget 2 weeks from spring break was impossible. I called RPAF and talked with the nicest people, and they found a place for us that could work for us and our budget. I was (am) so grateful, knowing that this wasn't anyone's responsibility to fix my problem created by the airbnb host that cancelled us.. but RPAF saved our family trip and we are so thankful! :)

When you drive 10 hrs with 8 other family members to go to a cabin for Thanksgiving and you walk in to a DIRTY cabin it doesn’t make for a pleasant first day! There were about 30 dead flies all in the kitchen and living room, black hair in the bathroom sink and on the sheets and the counter tops were dirty! We then had to contact the emergency number and he said they would get someone out to clean. The cleaning lady did show up within the hour, but not exactly what we wanted to wait on when we got there. Our cleaning fee was waived, but that still doesn’t address the fact that the house is infested with flies and should probably be checked in to before renting out to anyone else. The entire stay flies kept showing up out of no where!

We skied Angel Fire and stayed at Mtn Spirit. What a great place! I could recommend some updating to the facility and the trash collection routine was very strange. However, we had everything we needed and then some. I dig the under building parking! The shuttle picked us up at the front of the garage! Snow this year was getting thin, but still en exceptional mountain and even with limited snow, the skiing was amazing!!

Truly one of the hidden gems of New Mexico - no wonder stars like Julia Roberts live nearby!Go here if you want a great getaway off the beaten path. I found the scenery spectacular, as well as the wild life - the aspen trees are beautiful and there are moose walking around everywhere. As far as the actual place I stayed, I found everything very clean, and the management very responsive to any needs I had. Not much else to say - its a great place if you want to slow the pace down and relax for awhile!

Nice property, no issues and property was about 1/4 mile from the lifts. Condo was a little small for seven people but it kept everyone out on the mountain. Rooms were warm when we came in, water was hot from the faucet, kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils and no issues from any of the appliances. Easy check-in/checkout. We would stay here again.

I stayed in the Racquet Club. The room itself is good. Two bedrooms, two baths, a tiny 24" TV with dish network. There is a fireplace but it is just for show, the chimney is sealed. The first day we were here Thursday Jan 12 the power went out four times for an hour each. Called the manager Sharon and she said that it was because of construction. We had no WiFi for the entire duration that we were here. The lifts close at 4pm so afterwards there is NOTHING to do in the condo. Before the power went out, the WiFi strength was only two bars. After the power went out, there was absolutely no WiFi at all. We called the owners Phil and Laurie Johnson and they said that they'll call the groundskeeper to check on it. The next day there still was no WiFi. We called Sharon and told her. She said the clouds and snow were the reason there was no WiFi. I said no it wasn't, we had WiFi before the power went out so all she had to do was check on the 2WIRE unit or modem and reset it. She didn't do it, we still have no internet. She already knew about the WiFi problem because other residents had called her.If they can't fix a small problem like the WiFi, I wonder how they would handle a much bigger problem, such as no heat or water.

We had flat tire while visiting Angle Fire. They helped me change my tire and then took me to the garage where it was repaired at minimal cost. Now that is service!

We stayed in Snow fire Condo unit 201B, Oh my God, it was horrible. The unit had several issues, dirty dishes, broken furniture and damaged or completely broken appliances. The bed in he master was like a 1950s RV mattress, it was so old we woke up every day with horrible headaches from sleeping downhill, after the first night we slept on the couch. The carbon monoxide detector was damaged and in the night stand drawer. Our toilet in the master was broken and never fixed, it ran continuously for four days. When we complained to the office about these issues they did said they would get housekeeping to come to the unit, which they never happened. More than likely we will not return to Angel fire because of this experience. Just no excuse for such poor service.

I had the extreme displeasure of booking a stay with Resort Properties of Angel Fire. My wife and I booked a 3 week stay in the Timbers 5 unit, looking to get out of the city for a few weeks as quarantine with a newborn in our small house was wearing on us. Alarm bells should have gone off when I got a call shortly after booking informing me that New Mexico had a statewide mandatory 2 week quarantine for out of state visitors but that we didn’t need to worry because “it isn’t enforced and they really have no way of tracking how long you have been there”. In retrospect, this should have told me everything I needed to know about how this company views the safety of its customers and those within the community they serve, but we were eager to get out of the shoebox we have been trapped in since March, so we booked it.Upon arrival, after a 12 hour drive with a 2 month old and our dog, we were informed that our unit had not been cleaned yet and that it would not be ready for us at the 4:00pm check in time. While frustrated and tired, we did not complain, as we did not want to rush the cleaning process. At 4:30, we were told that we could go to our unit and were given the keys.As we opened the door to the main living area, we were met with a 25+ year old, matted down wall to wall carpet covered in many black stains. Dust coated everything (likely from the adjacent construction ). As my wife opened the blinds to the porch, one of fell off. When I opened screen door, it fell off the track. It is obvious that the owners do not take care of the home. This was all disappointing, and frustrating, but we were exhausted, so we brought our bags up.Within a few minutes, we realized that not only is the place not maintained, it had not been cleaned prior to our arrival (with a group having just departed that morning). Our dog started eating crunchy unidentified items out of the carpet. Crumbs were all over the kitchen counter. This would be unacceptable any time, but in today’s environment, it an egregious safety hazard that shows a total disregard for health and safety. The final straws were when we realized that the glasses in the cabinet had lipstick smudges on them and there was a film of grime in the tub when we went to bathe our son. In today’s covid-19 world, we did not safe being in this home with our newborn child.I immediately called and spoke with the owner, Owen. He offered us three options, a 1 bedroom unit (we rented a 3br), a 5 BR unit that cost ~$1,000 per week more than ours, or they would send a cleaning lady the next day. After consulting with my wife, we called back and spoke to Amber who eventually offered to discount the larger unit substantially, saying it would only cost us $250 more than what we had rented, but couldn’t provide clean accommodations for that night. We tried to explain that this did not solve our problem. Aside from not being able to afford to pay more, we explained that none of their proposed solutions provided us a safe and clean place to stay for that evening. While we were not happy with the upkeep of the unit, the cleanliness and exposure to COVID was our main concern and deciding factor for not being able to stay Amber said they would refund us our rental payment less $700 for taking the property off the market for 2 weeks. She told my wife that “your husband should have read the contract, you do not get a refund for cancellation.” We explained that we were not cancelling, that the unit was unlivable and was not safe to stay in, they did not care. She went on to tell us that if we disputed with our credit card company, she would come after us for the full amount of the rental. This company robbed us of our first vacation with our son, $700, and two full days of travel. I highly recommend that you avoid dealing with this company at all costs. They do not care about your health and safety and do not operate in good faith. My only wish is that I had read the other one star reviews and listened to them. I now see that I am not the only one that has dealt with this.
