Horrible store policies that instead of helping the customers, ends up creating more problems for the customer. The older cashier with glasses always acts as if she doesn’t want to be there and starts to act aggressive when you don’t get out of her face immediately. Had issues with the payment and she immediately started to belittle me and when the manager came over, both of them ganged up on me and continued to belittle me. Learn to respect your customers and be more considerate!

Although I usually do my best to avoid this Walgreens location due to safety issues and other reasons. However, since it is close to my home and my allergies were killing me, I thought oh well.I asked one of the employees, a tall skinny, bald guy. He pointed me in the direction of the allergy medication. When I got to the area, it was locked up. I know he must have known since this type of meds is usually locked away, and he also knew exactly where it was in the store. I then went back and asked him if he could open the cabinet, he said that all I had to do was push a button next to the cabinet. I thought that was strange, why lock something up, so the customers can just push a button? I then went back to the shelves again, where the medication was, and of course, there was no button. At this point, I was rather irritated.Just about every time I go to this location, there is some employee who is either clueless or they are rude. No wonder why this location reminds me of a third-world-country slum! The only professional people working at that Walgreens location that day were the IPS security guards. I will never go back to this Walgreens again.I went to another Walgreens which was a breath of fresh air in comparison to this godforsaken place!

The problem with this Walgreens is probably systemic — meaning, the area of town they are in (couldn’t imagine working there). Y But the manager, Brett, does not appear to have any humanity in him. He does not read people well at all, and appears to have no sense of humor. He’s completely poorly placed for the job. Brett doesn’t know how to spot the good customers from the bad ones. He should be terminated asap.

They Racist Simple and That manager Rude! I guess we were being “ ghetto “ or talking loud and excused us of arguing when we literally was just talking about our baby we are having just in a very happy way because we found out good news and the security guard yelled and said get off the property which left me crying because one we weren’t even talking at all when he approached us we were talking before we even got to the door!. And he still yelled. The manager was 0 help and told us she goes by the say of officer and completely ignored what we were saying , she wouldn’t give us the name of the officer or anyone to report anything as if she knew and it’s abq so I get it crack heads but we 100% did not look like a crack head I just wouldn’t go here if your a African American and Speak loud 💀 I guess

Interacting at the pharmacy with the new hire who looks 15 years old was extremely uncomfortable as he gazed into my soul with a deadpan look on his face. It felt like I was interacting with a jailer.I can't recall a more awkward interaction ever, with anyone. I'm done with this pharmacy after 20 years of using it, I cannot bear another moment of this person who seemed to be hired for reasons other than customer service.

On the forth day of waiting for prescription being filled, went there, told them in my native language what do I think about they "performance", I got my meds, but I would never go there again. You, Walgreen people , are so bad, lying about non- avail of simple, pennyworth pills? Shame on you.And your store being guarded by endless security, where everything inside is behind the locked glass?! I just wish you the worst. And your place is a pit hole, no metter how it looks.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! All products are locked in display cases and you have to press a button to have someone come unlock it for you but no one ever comes! Greedy company more worried about theft than their customers, can't wait to see this place get shut down like the walmart and the Dollar tree did

Thanks for the awesome serviceComing back 3 months later to say I love this pharmacy and it’s staff! They always remember me by name, are super quick and friendly! Best Walgreens pharmacy in town, I think. Yes their lines can get long, but they are park hard to get to everyone as fast as they can.

Walgreens outright LIED to me when I specifically asked them about one controlled substance medication for my M.S. I said I was switching from Walmart because they won't deliver OR ship that prescription. Walgreens told me they WOULD, NO PROBLEM. Then upon calling about it was put on hold, picked up in place 1, put back on hold... 5 timed in a row.They are LYING INCOMPETENT FOOLS that should not be running a pharmacy!

The "woman" night manager needs to hire more cashiers. Everyone with non liquor items is forced to goto the liquor section to checkout. I got soda and ice cream. She saw this family with kids in the liquor section trying to checkout and opened normal registers as I'm making my way to the liquor checkout. She makes it seem like she's doing us a favor when it's her job! So the family checks out and I get in line behind them and she doesn't say one word to me. Told her how I felt as I left.

I’m never one to write reviews of places simply cause they operate just fine, I don’t expect anything more than the bare minimum. I was checking out and their machine was acting funny and not accepting my card, this is normal in most places and you just have to play with it til you get it right.The older woman who was helping me check out repeatedly kept getting more angry that it wasn’t accepting my card and she asked if I could hurry it up so she can get to the rest of the customers. I totally understand this but helping me with my issue since I’m the first person in your line would help get everyone else along. She asked me what the machine was saying to which I told her it tells me to remove card, she then raised her voice and told me to not remove my card then. It felt somewhat embarrassing to be in the line at this point, I said I didn’t need the batteries and left.I can excuse most issues anywhere but I never expect to walk in somewhere just to be treated like I’m intruding on them for wanting to buy a product, a little help instead of eagerly trying to get me out the store might be better.

In all the store is alright. However, I have had a very poor experience with a pharmaceutical technician (Olivia A.). She was extremely condescending when she spoke to me and seemed to have an issue with me asking basic questions. I will not be returning due to this employee.

I only go here because it is very close. Very bad homeless problem, I have to decline money or cigarettes about every 3 times I go and I can’t remember the last time there hadn’t been homeless people to the side or in front of the building. The music is very annoying and is being used to “prevent” these people from loitering but it seems to attract them. I have seen a security guard a couple of times but I think there needs to be one there every minute the store is open. I’ve met a couple of great cashiers, a couple of okay, and a couple bad ones. Also sometimes the price it shows isn’t actually the price and that’s what happened today and it has happened plenty of times. Sometimes stuff is even cheaper than it says so they are literally losing profit because people don’t buy it because they think it’s to expensive when it’s not. Hate to say it but truly a bad store. 2 stars for having standard service and it’s not the complete worst store ever.

The cashier was very helpful not gonna lie. But on a real note she disrespected my donuts by putting them in the bag upside down. Disrespect me all you want… but disrespecting a perfectly innocent bag of donuts makes me sick. I won’t be returning.

The staff in the store pare great. Everyone is always very polite and helpful. The pharmacy staff are fantastic. They always answer all my questions and take care of my prescriptions. I have no major complaints. The store is always nice and clean.You must take their location into consideration when making any reviews. This a very busy place with all sorts of people, professional, professors, students, artist and so on. Hence the staff do their best. I am sure that providing services to this very diverse community makes their positions stressful. As a result. I do my best to be mindful to them. If you are are regular costumer you exactly what I mean.I like this store and it’s my favorite from all the other places is very convenient and there is always a place to park.

Be prepared with of list a items that you need. Most of the items are sold under lock and key. There is never a manager around to ask if you need help. So, when you finally get help, having a list is key to get in and out of the store in a timely manner. The selves are not frequently stocked. New to the store, the cooler windows are screened with e-advertisements, so you cannot see what is in the refrigerated section. When you open the cooler doors, the shelves are empty and have not been stocked. I recommend going to another location.

I was visiting from out of town, and came to this Walgreens on a Christmas Eve to print some photos. The store manager & staff were friendly and answering any questions I had. But I quickly wanted to, leave. I’m not sure if it’s the side of town it’s on, or the fact that it’s connected to a liquor store. You could imagine the type of clientele this Walgreens attracts. I’d recommend to go to a different Walgreens with a higher rating.

It’s a convenient store because of location. Tons of homeless people around that the security guards seem to do nothing about. Mediocre customer service, some are great and helpful while others are rude and inconsiderate.

Very loud obnoxious orchestral music playing to drive off homeless people (which doesn't work because there were some in front of the building) you can hear it almost a block away. Wouldn't let my friend use the bathroom even though they bought something, also only had really thin pads. Kind of rude cashier. Just overall a bad experience

I have been trying to call all day to get a prescription transferred here. I was put on hold for 10 mins which is totally reasonable, I get pharmacies tend to be busy. However, each time I am hung up on with no answer. I’ll just fill my meds elsewhere.

Ify store too many transients that hang out and they end up stealing from the store. Security is non existant. UPDATE 10/10/22 I went in at 615p today and while I finished up in the pharmacy a manager came to see about me and my service dog. Didn't say anything but I asked if someone complained. No answer and she walked off. But when the homeless thieves go in management doesnt do anything. Talk about terrible customer service. I will be taking business elsewhere. IMO ACLU needs to stick up for people with service animals and not druggies and transient It's part of the Walgreens problem

Walgreens is our "go to" for medicine and personal care products. This location is the worst I have patronized.Many shelves are locked and require staff assistance to access. If that's the decision management made to prevent theft, they need to make sure they have enough staff to assist customers. You shouldn't have to wait ten minutes for someone to come unlock deodorant.Save yourself lots of time and pick up your personal care products elsewhere.

My partner and I just got vaccinated here and the pharmacist was so kind and the process was so easy. We are sitting here giddy with excitement that we were able to be vaccinated. Thank you so much! I know pharmacists have a hard job with very little appreciation, so I just want to say thank you and that our lives were changed today and we appreciate you!

This is a nice little store with a good staff. In general, you can find what you need here, and the pharmacy staff is competent and professional. It really could be a great pharmacy and store, but it's almost right on Central, and gets the problems that roll in from that street, mainly shoplifting, I think, but other issues as well. This is nobody's fault, just an unfortunate feature of location. The management and staff do a good job of keeping it clean and well run despite this. If you live in the neighborhood this is a good place to go to get your prescriptions filled, get greeting cards, get various grocery items in a pinch.

I was a regular customer here at the pharmacy, so I only know the names of the pharmacy staff. Gavin is the most efficient and technically gifted pharmacy technician -soon to be pharmacist - staffed here. He went out of his way to make sure I was helped, and the least I can do is vouch for him on this review. He is insanely career focused and goal oriented; all while working his hardest to keep his customers satisfied. Gavin is the definition of what the ideal pharmacy technician does, and even what pharmacists should be doing. As far as pharmacists go, I believe Matt has the kindest heart with great intentions to help people. From my interactions with him, he had restored my faith in the pharmacy practice- by actually having the empathy to help and care for his patients. Thank you both Gavin and Matt for staying true and pure in your intentions to make this world a better place the entire time I have known you two. I genuinely appreciate you guys, and your honesty and willingness to help others make my experiences at Walgreens pharmacy that much more memorable.Shoutout to Sarah, your heart is in the right place as well, and thank you for your kindness and support through some dark times in my life. You are all loved, and we are all in this life together. I appreciate the ones who devote their time to tilt the world a little more towards the good during their shift, as that is what provides meaning and hope for humanity! I've been going to this Walgreens a long time. The pharmacy staff is great, and they have gone above and beyond more than once. Usually I only go here to get my rx's, but last week I decided I wanted to look at makeup. Omg, the lady in the makeup department was awful. I just wanted to browse, but she kept bothering me, being a pest, and would NOT leave me alone. Shes beyond annoying. Please get rid of her.
