I have been working on transporting my dog to Guam and the receptionist Anna has been absolutely incredible helping me and my mom with all of our questions and doing her due diligence to help make sure all of his paperwork is in order even when its really busy there she has been the sweetest . Definitely one of the best vet receptionist’s I’ve ever talked to! This VCA location has always been the best location I’ve taken my dog too has such an amazing staff and they have always been there to help me through the lengthy process of transporting my dog.

Our experiences at VCA Wyoming have been consistently incredible. The staff are always helpful and welcoming and the skillful and compassionate care our dog has received from Dr. Martin and all the veterinary assistants has been, bar none, the best I have ever encountered over 30+ years of dog ownership and veterinary experiences in New Mexico and Colorado. These people have heart, professionalism, and skill. I wholeheartedly recommend VCA Wyoming. Also, in reading some reviews that were critical of pricing and payments, I really have to disagree. I have found this clinic to be significantly more affordable than any of the vets we went to in Colorado.

We have been using VCA for over a decade. We brought at least 8 animals here. We have always been treated wonderfully. They are always honest. They will offer you many tests for your animal. Those can be expensive, and you can say no to without judgment from the staff. They truly care about the animals and the people.

Can't say enough good about this place! Brought my two dogs in for their first visit today, and they can be quite leash reactive when they're together. The staff was so accommodating and moved dogs around the lobby while we waited in the car so that we could walk straight to our exam room. They took my dogs back one at a time, and took my payment while my dogs and I waited in the exam room afterwards. They never made me feel bad or like an inconvenience, and really went above and beyond to make our experience a good one. Dr. Martin is a great veterinarian, and was so helpful in her recommendations for my dog's car anxiety. I never felt talked down to by her or any of the other staff. Looks like my pets will be coming here from now on!

Dr. Martin has been our girls primary vet for the last 2 years we have been coming to VCA. Although our girl is vocal and is a lot of dog, everyone handles her very well. Any questions we have are always answered promptly and throughly. We are going to miss this office as we have to move. A big Thank you to everyone here who has worked with us!

Experience was frustrating—We were told could do a walk in vaccine after our annual appointment in September. Instead, we were charged for a vet consultation. Each vaccine was between $65-$75, far exceeding industry rate. Unless you need a specialized service, go somewhere else that isn’t price gouging. VCA in general overcharges compared to a local or smaller vet. Please spread the word. Thanks.

VCA came highly recommended to me and now I can’t recommend them enough! The staff is kind, caring, and patient. I am so happy I made the switch to VCA.

“I recently accompanied my elderly neighbor to the veterinarian to put her cat down, and I have some concerns about the experience. It seemed like the veterinarian might not have used their best judgment when they sent the cat home with a feeding tube instead of opting for euthanasia, especially given the cat’s condition. This decision placed a considerable burden on both the cat and its owner, who was unable to make the choice herself due to attachment issues. As time went on, it became evident that the vet’s actions might not have been in the best interest of the cat or its owner. It felt like they were taking advantage of her credit card and situation by charging exorbitant amounts, for euthanasia a few days later and a jaw dropping amount for the feeding tube procedure. I don’t even have a credit card so right when they swipe me it comes straight out of my bank account and this is why I have to question their motivation . This experience left me questioning the ethics of this veterinary practice, and I believe there may be better options available. Proceed with caution if you choose to visit this veterinarian.”

My cat hurt her eye, and VCA Wyoming was able to squeeze her into their schedule the day after I called. They thoroughly examined her, explained what they saw with her eye and her overall health, and they asked for approval before performing anything with an extra charge. Dr. Grainger also followed up afterward to check on my cat and answer any questions that came up after the appointment. I appreciate all of the people who helped make this an easy vet experience!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Short wait, quick checkup.I had a free first wellness check from adopting my little terrier, Katie, from Lucky Paws. Such a great deal. They offered prevention medicine- a little expensive so I declined. I was given a welcome kit and 1 free heartworm dose. Thanks VCA!

VCA doctors and staff are absolutely the best in town! They are always so nice and truly care about my fur babies and provide excellent care. We won't go anywhere else! My Gizmo wearing the neck pillow, and Jay the cat is at VCA and needs a furever home, he's so sweet!

I’m considering going to another vet. This vet is great with care for your animal, but I guess I’m a little ticked off about their discount policy. I’ve been buying prescription cat food from them for a while now, and have never had any trouble with getting a veteran’s discount. Last time I went in, I was told that they don’t offer a veteran’s discount for food purchases. As if the food isn’t expensive enough when buying from a vet clinic, I now have to shell out more money. I remember saying “bummer” when I was told I couldn’t get a discount, and the lady said “yes, it is a bummer.” So, I don’t think I would even trust their word if I were to get medical care for one of my cats that they would give me a discount. Which is it? Do you offer a military discount or not? Or are you just discriminating against me because I don’t look like your typical disabled veteran?

My dog was diagnosed with leukemia in Texas. And I've been worried about a vet carrying for my baby. VCA Wyoming has been very caring and loving to my baby. They call and check on him to see how he's doing on his medicine on doing over all. Even though it's a long hard battle they are right there by us.

Used to come here because they were timely, caring, and compassionate. When I took my now very old cat to be seen because she couldn't breathe, they took blood, five hundred dollars, and said they'd call me. I've had to call them to find out, but get hit with the vet being out until the middle of next week? What's wrong with my cat, a-holes?

VCA has been our primary vet for many years now. Their staff is pleasant, the facility is clean, and we always get the care that our pets need when we go there. Recently, I’ve noticed that they seemed over-booked and it’s essentially impossible to get an appointment unless you book a few weeks to a few months in advance. We’ve had this happen many times - one of our pups was vomiting regularly (to the point of bloody vomit) and couldn’t get an appointment, one of our pups ate something he shouldn’t and we couldn’t get an appointment, etc etc. Even when one of my dogs started being lethargic with heavy breathing (very clear signs that something is wrong), the tech was hesitant to give me an appointment when I called first thing in the morning (actually was able to squeeze him in after talking to the vet). It is pretty consistent now that we get something like “sorry, we don’t have any available appointments, we can see him in 3 weeks”. But for some issues, waiting weeks is going to exacerbate the problem and sometime cause irreparable harm. We’ve had to resort to driving out of town to another vet for most appointments. It’s inconvenient and they don’t know our pet’s history as well. That vet doesn’t do primary care, but I think we’re going to switch to another provider soon.

I’ve made the unfortunate choice to have this location euthanize my cat. It’s now been nearly a month since his appointment and I still have not had his ashes returned. I was told it took one to two weeks. When I spoke with them last week, they were insistent it took two weeks (which had already passed), and upon digging further, relayed to me that the special urn was delayed on arriving and that they should have the ashes back that Friday. They have not reached out since and it’s been 3 1/2 weeks and the only communication along the way has been when I reach out. I will continue to follow up until my little buddy is back home or this situation is resolved because I am extremely frustrated at the lack of empathy overall. Please find a better, caring vet practice to take your loved ones to if you’re having to make that incredibly difficult choice. It’s already hard enough to make, much less feel as if your pet’s remains are now lost.

They were really fast about getting us in and out, and it was easy to schedule with them. The staff was all really nice and the vet fully explained our concerns well. I really had a good experience here and will be happy to bring our babies back in the future! Also they sent us a pic of our dog while he was in his appointment which I thought was super cute :)

Dr. Martin spent a long time with us on our first visit to this practice to see what could be done with our dog who developed separation anxiety after we moved. Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Martin!

Would never go to any other vet. They treat us with the utmost care and respect every time we are there, and that goes for us, the people, as well as our furry companions. If you want a vet that is compassionate, warm, kind, and has excellent bedside manner to both the people and the animals go to Dr. Martin. She has been with us through so much and I am always happy to see her, even during the hard times. Her gut has never been wrong on issues regarding our pets before any of the tests are even ran and I trust her advice and respect her approach. She maintains the perfect balance between professionalism and down to earth compassion. Our animals give her and VCA Wyoming 5 paw prints! We have also been treated very kindly by the hospital manager, James when it comes to the financial and business aspects of care, I never felt like we were just a dollar sign to him. He even personally delivered meds on an occasion where that weren't ready during regular business hours. We can't thank everyone enough for their care of our past and present pets but we can highly advise everyone to bring their pets there, you won't be disappointed.

20 minutes, $160 to get information I found on the internet, just had it confirmed I guess. Nice enough staff. I went to the wrong place for the issue my dog had. I should have gone somewhere, probably like a pet hospital. Vet was the wrong choice. My bad. But I would recommend to a friend. They are a great staff.

I brought my dog here because it was required by the shelter I adopted from to get a wellness exam and it was supposed to cover “up to $250” in services. I had never been to VCA before, but I was shocked by their practices.First, they don’t allow people to come inside initially. You have to find & read a tiny sign you don’t know about in the parking lot that’s not too visible to call them instead of check in and wait in your car for them to call you a million times. And you have to wear a mask…long after the mask mandate ended. After waiting 20 minutes past our appointment time and going through four different people, we were finally allowed in to a smelly room to wait longer for a vet. When they came in, they barely looked at my dog and instead immediately started talking about a litany of random tests they wanted to run, “all covered at my cost.” They only wanted to talk about money. Instead of looking at my dog, they brought me a sample invoice for $500 and said they’d gladly take my money right away.At this point, I was too uncomfortable to continue. The place was absolutely filthy, even the ceiling was black with mold, and no one was there for the animals, just money. I decided to leave and go to another vet.The “covered up to $250” was a sham. I was charged $200 for this experience before I could leave the building by people at the front who were goofing off instead of working. I will NEVER come to this place again and if you’re thinking of going here, find someone else.

Amazing staff! They helped calm a frantic owner and fixed my puppy right up all while talking to me, explaining their care plans, and reassuring me that raising puppies are hard and I'm not a terrible dog owner (: everyone was wonderful and so friendly. I definitely intend to sign up for their affordable care plans and come here again! Really amazed by this team!

We took our sick senior dog to be euthanized here due to our regular vet was closed due to Covid. The staff and Doctor we incredibly kind and sympathetic. We were not rushed to say goodbye to our girl. Thank you VCA for making our decision a little easier and helping our girl pass with ease.

We were pretty disappointed in our experience here. We brought our dog in yesterday for suspected bloat, a surgical emergency, but she was still moving around so not in bad shape. We had to fill out paperwork (understandable) and were informed that it would be $175 for an appointment (ok) and it might be a while to see a vet (ok). Within 10 min a nurse came out and we thought she would triage or at least assess our dog, who was in obvious pain/distress.Instead she told us the initial workup would be a minimum $1.3k - not including any treatment! and that they wouldn't even do a simple physical exam before going straight to bloodwork and xrays. She also said we would be there for hours first. Then left without answering any other questions. We asked for the numbers to other clinics in the area and found a great one!
