When shopping, I start at the produce department and let what look best drive the rest of my meal. For the last 4 months, this produce department has been a mess. Photo's are from a Saturday afternoon at 4:10PM. I was told the last produce dept. worker had left at 1:00PM and the next guy didn't start until 4:00. Clearly Kroger has given up.

The grayish blonde haired old lady at self checkout basically pushed me out of the way without saying a word while I was scanning my items at self checkout I did not need help or look like I needed help she wanted to be sure I scanned items that were still in my cart. She was rude and very unprofessional and tossed the last few items and said I can scan those and bag them after she barged in and scanned all the other stuff very rude. She stood there instigating a argument and flipped me off at the exit. I spoke to Ruth who stated the associate is a seniored employee and is there all the time and they understand if they don't keep my business what a joke of a store team. Poor customer service after spending almost $200

I haven’t the slightest clue how you go from bad seafood and meat products to worse than bad. Before they changed the layout for how you buy seafood, I had bought at least 2 different seafood products that were off, I thought since they had changed the way that the package and sell their seafood it might be fine again, but the salmon that I bought was slimy, sour, and disgusting. It looked fine outside the vacuum sealed package and you can’t even smell it, once you open it it becomes obvious, extremely deceptive and shady tactic. The beef products have always been not great or have be flat out bad before sell but date, Id avoid buying meat and produce from this Smith’s.

Smith's always has good prices compared to Albertsons. The store is always clean and they usually have everything in stock. They will run out of stuff sometimes if it is on sale. You do have to pay attention to sale prices because they seem to raise the regular price to make the sale seem better.

I occasionally frequent this Smith's as it is the one nearest to my house. It’s a little hard to notice and only less than two miles south of the Paseo location. I have never seen it extraordinarily busy, but I reckon these factors as well as the next door Wal-Mart all play a part of depriving it of a having a few extra patrons.Nonetheless, this Smith’s is a good one. It’s well stocked and considerable in size. It features a pharmacy, deli, butcher shop, bakery, and everything else you’d expect a large Kroger chain store to have. Each area of the store is well maintained and employees are never too far away should you need any assistance.As is the case with nearly every modern grocery store; this place could benefit with having a few extra checkout lanes open. Also for whatever reason, this Smith’s still has yet to be remodeled. It still possesses the decor of a 90’s grocery store, but perhaps I am being too nit picky here. In all, it’s a decent place that is largely free from the hustle and bustle of its many Albuquerque counterparts/competitors.

It's always clean. Even though they advertise that they have the freshest produce, that is not necessarily true. Smith's likes to separate the foods so that most times, I find it necessary to walk the entire store. I'm sure it's a gimmick on their part to make you do just that, so you'll buy more... I resent this tactic! It's easy to get around in.

Michael at customer service is Extremely RUDE!! I will never shop at Smiths again due to the way he treated me! He needs customer service training! Apparently management lets their employees act this way!

I would have to rate this store as one, if not the worst in Albuquerque as far as making sure products are in stock. This particular location is out of the most basic items on a regular basis. I had been shopping at this location for many years, but all it takes is a change in management, and someone who just does not care, for a store to go downhill. Yes, the store is very clean but if they are always out of everything you need, what is the point in shopping there? I now shop at the Smiths on Paseo which is also quite clean, but also makes sure items are reordered and restocked.

We once called this "the good Smith's," to differentiate it from the other nearby one on Montgomery. But in 2023, this store is now on track to be the next "ghetto Smith's."-Seafood counter is removed (they retained a refrigerator case with a small selection of pre-packaged seafood)-Understaffing at deli counter and checkouts creates backups and unreliability. Also: ATTITUDE at the deli counter can be an issue--clearly, these employees are not compensated for providing fast and pleasant service.-Stocking reliability is way down and selection is dropping throughout the store.Welcome to the ghetto.

ATTENTION MANAGERS! Actual, I love this place and I like the staff.But this time when I came in to do $250 worth of grocery shopping, I brought my refrigerated bags because I needed to buy a whole bunch of meat.Some of my refrigerated items ended up in the bags but most didn't.I wasn't too upset about that until I got to the bag where the bagger, an older gentleman, stuffed my bread and vegetables in the bag with raw chicken!It was Not even a refrigerated bag.Most of the stuff in my refrigerated bags was off the shelf items. And most of my refrigerator stuff was stuffed in every other bag.Listen man, this is food safety we're talking about here okay?People can get sick or die if they have a long distance to travel and your staff does not put the refrigerator food in the refrigerator bags like they're supposed to.You really need to train your staff on what a cooler bag looks like, and what they're for!I always put all my refrigerated stuff together so it all goes in the bags but this time you guys miss the mark by a hundred miles!I am pissed and I'm hoping none of my food is ruined!I should not have to supervise your staff to make sure they're doing their job correctly!I should be able to trust you guys to know what the hell you're doing!Food safety is one of those items that everybody needs to learn!This is what a refrigerator bag looks like it is lined in silver!They come in many sizes and shapes!

I had such a pleasant experience at this location this morning. All of the employees were very friendly. The lady in floral smiled and said hi. The lady in the deli dept checked to make sure I was finding what I needed. And Thuy at self checkout was chatting all the customers up.

Understaffed, products are never in stock. The bakery items are the most disappointing out of all the smiths I've tried in Albuquerque. Bakery cookies are always hard and stale, and the bakery items rarely get restocked. The staff seems like they're trying their best but are always stressed out. Kroger needs to step it up!

Me and my wife went to the Smith because we like the area we drive a little bit far to go to that one because we like that location Delhi was very rude older lady was bothered when I asked you to get me my meat from the deli I just decided not to get it.i got followed in the store like I was going to steal something. Went to pay for my items camera caught me trying to steal something allegedly even the worker was saying they record me to just a very bad experience today. I've been going to the store for more than 30 years yes I have tattoos but don't deserve to be treated like a a thief sad sad days we living and have to be going through stuff like this

Picked up my order today around 3:30pm I was thirty minutes early for my order and a woman came over and said she would help me right away. She brought out my order within five minutes. I was very impressed by her professionalism and efficiency. I will definitely be back again! Thank you so much for being so kind.

Was not pleasant to see two individuals with name tags specifying “customer service manager” stand at the self-checkout staring at who-knows-what while a line of 5 had formed at customer service and the visibly overworked individual behind the counter was left with no support. I always have had positive experiences with the staff members who are actively working. I would expect a manager in retail to be working harder than the employees, not the other way around…maybe that is not the business culture here.

I come here almost everyday. During the week its almost never a problem. Only problem is self check out on the weekends. The lady that runs the self check out seems to pick an choice who she helps I have on several occasions had to wait for her to even look up before she even trys to assist. She is also extremely rude when you are trying to purchase alcohol.. you should be able to get your 1 item and go thru self check out not only quickly but peacefully. She makes it a long drawn out processes. All I have to say is don't shop here on the weekends unless they restaff with friendly people stay away or go next store to wallmart were you at least know your going to be treated badly. Just not as bad as selfcheck out at Smiths

Just received the worst customer service of my life by a girl who looked like she was maybe about 16 years old. Incredibly rude and unprofessional, and forgot several items. Some produce was bad and not what I asked for. She even put my groceries in someone else's car! People make mistakes, but that's a lot of mistakes to make in one order. I'd be a lot more understanding if she was at least kind, but she was incredibly rude to me and the others waiting in the checkout. She wore all black and didn't even have a nametag. I won't be coming back here.

Guess how much we spend at your store every year? Not anymore. If you can't get online order correct, offer a solution to get your customer the items ordered that you didn't get to their car besides a refund. We need those items, they are sitting in your store. Hanging up on the customer is rude and lying about there not being any managers on duty is straight up punk move.

Waited 30 minutes for a pickup order. I was the only one out there in the pickup spaces. I went into the store and waited another 15 minutes for the pickup person to help me. When I got home, half of my order was missing! Would not recommend this store for pickup orders. Have been on hold for 25 minutes so far, to make sure I am not charged for the missing items. Bummer.

I use to love shopping at this Smiths with my Service Dog, but not anymore. It is well posted "Service Dogs Only", but the staff does nothing to enforce this. They let people holding dogs, putting dogs in baby carriages, putting their dogs in the shopping carts (this is a huge health violation) and using retractable leashes. These are NOT Service Dogs. Employees including management do not stop these people. This puts customers at a huge risk with possible lawsuits!!!!possible lawsuit

I don't shop here very often, but when I do it's usually a good experience. But the last couple of times I have came here I just managed to get the same cashier by the name of Diana. She always seems to be annoyed by the people that come to her line. She just tosses groceries down on the table. I've seen people try to make small talk with her and she just looks mad and won't say nothing but have a good one. No customer service skills.

Smith's makes my grocery shopping quick & easy. The aisles are clearly labeled & things are easy to find. The selection of groceries, meat, drug store items, fresh produce and bakery items is really extensive. All their employees are friendly & helpful. But the best thing is that I can always find a short check out line & get done quickly. Great!

Management of this store seems to be very poor. No answer to the customer service phone line. Out of bagels at 10:00 in the morning.Deli closed due to short staff. Deli out of product when open. What good is management if they can't staff or can't order product? 83 year old asked to show ID to purchase wine - told them to keep their wine . Went elsewhere and bought the wine for less. There are other places to shop. Forcing us to shop elsewhere.
