I switched to this Smiths a few months ago because the smiths on constitution is a joke. I am very pleased with how this store runs. I’ve noticed the dried pasta/beans/rice areas are always neatly organized and stacked. It’s impressive. Fruits and veggies are always fresh and stocked.The store is clean and the employees are always busy, but very helpful. I have a toddler, so bagging my groceries is impossible for me. I appreciate that the cashiers always bag my groceries if there isn’t someone helping to bag.Shout to Mercedes! We always pick her line.Great job guys.

David has always been so helpful and friendly.Each time we come for our grocery pickup he helps us, loads the car in the best way to make sure our items don't get smashed.Thanks David!

This store is consistently one of the absolute worst grocery stores in Albuquerque, and that is saying something. They literally refuse to open the self-checkout registers or any other registers. At 5 p.m., when they should have everything open, they will have people stocking stiff all over the store. Multiple working at the deli will not have more than one register open. I routinely am standing in a line so long I can not even see the register area. I have been in a line so long I was in the meat area. The line was longer than the entire aisle, and still, no employee budged to open a register. I hope you please go out of business soon or sell this store to someone else because you all certainly do not want to operate it properly.

They have a really rude, unprofessional shorter male working in self checkout Saturday late afternoons to evenings with a beard/goatee thing who always wears a black hat and glasses. He refuses to spak to or engage with any of the customers. Today I thanked him again and he just looked away. There also a ton of seemingly unhoused younger people asking for money at each entrance. I really hate the stress of this store!

Poor customer service. Employee got an attitude when she miscounted cash for a money order (multiple miscounts). Had another employee check her work and what do you know, the amount was correct - she never apologized. Just threw my license at me. Also, pharmacy doesn’t take most insurances anymore. Not even for basic vaccines. Customer service is joke. It’s just “virtual assistants”. Smiths used to be a decent store to shop at. Not sure when it became the new Walmart.

Check the expiration dates people. Everytime we shop at this place we keep getting things that are expired. Traeger bar be q sauce, corn tortillas, Dots brand pork rhinds. They just hope people buy them so they dont have to throw them out.

After yet another round of abuse from their management team this morning, I will NEVER shop at this Smiths again. Their cashiers are lovely. Their management is rude, disrespectful and doesn’t deserve your money. Bad news. Avoid at all costs.

The pharmacy was great to me today. I was able to walk in and get a couple of my immunizations updated. The service was prompt, and I could tell they were happy to help me. Excellent job!

Smiths is stealing from its customers! Check the signs vs. What the item rings up for! I just had to go take pictures of the signs because the cashier wouldn't believe me that the items were ringing up $.10_1.00 MORE than what is advertised. I shouldn't have to walk around taking pictures of every price for every item I buy to verify its ringing up correctly. The self checkout cashier had the audacity to zoom in on the pictures even, like I wasn't doing her job already.

This kid comes at me and my son when the machine has a error and tell us Iam making sure you ain’t stealing Iam a regular there This kid needs to be corrected .. don’t talk to people with disrespect better know for sure before you do .. Management is clearly not familiar with the American with Disabilities Act, or New Mexico Service Animal laws. I will be filing a complaint both with Kroger upper-management as well as notifying the NM Attorney General for being denied access.

Smaller than most Smith's around town. Go early to mid morning and it's great. Go mid day to early evening and it's crazy busy with long lines. Go in the evening til closing time and it's a different atmosphere, things are more clamped down, security guards and such and you may not feel as safe. But this is common to many places these days. Employees I encounter have always been friendly and courteous. I only go in the early morning anymore.

This is consistently the worst grocery store in the area. The pay must be terrible because they've been short staffed for at least three years. If you're lucky, there is one check lane cashier and one set of five self-check kiosks. They built a second row of four self-check lanes, but almost never have enough employees to keep them all open so it takes forever to check out. The store is clean enough and the parking lot is safe. The people who do work here are nice, and I wish the Kroger corporation would treat us all better. Sometimes it's worth just driving further away to go to Albertson's.

It's a wonderful smith's to shop in Albuquerque. Ariel is so helpful and everyone else was also very attentive. Self checkout is a breeze and the place is kept super clean

The absolute worst smiths I’ve ever been to. Seen some horrid ones in Las Vegas but nothing compares to this one. No employees on any register and always out of the same things. Hopefully this whole closes bc it’s an absolute joke. Look at this line because could only use self check out

Update, They seem to have the white men working the self check-out to openly favor white people, the white guy was hand over foot helping an Old white woman, he made sure to belittle me, Little man working the self check-out was just trying to humiliate me by implying I was doing it wrong when I was attempting to purchase the items I selected, even tried to stand in front of me and the scanner.Conclusion If you are white you will be treated like a person at this Smiths

Update July 8th 2023... My personal singular experience today was very good... Emmanuel helped me out in a way that he didn't even have to think about it...BUT I DO UNDERSTAND... The large majority of dissatisfied customer reviews... I have seen that at this store before... so maybe the management noticed and are trying to turn it around... let's hope so...

Funny how self checkouts have to be overridden by an employee 4, 5 times(kinda defeats the purpose)saying u didn't scan something but double scan an item & not a peep! Just charges u twice. Also many prices do not ring up as advertised, asked an employee he just said "hmm, I dunno". Oh & someone in parking lot asked my 65yo father if he had any dope to sell, not really Smith's fault still reflects poorly on location

I was using the pickup service and the last time, I was charged for several items I hadn’t ordered or received. Most I could refund myself, but I had to go through customer service for the rest. I was told it would be refunded within five days and that I would receive a $5 credit for my trouble. None of that happened! I no longer shop at Smiths as a result. They lost my trust!!

One of my go-to grocery stores because it’s close to home, but they rarely have more than one cashier at a time. The over-reliance on self checkout is a cheap and dirty way to have customers perform the labor of two employees for free. It also causes ridiculously long checkout lines. Fantastic ice cream selection.

I needed help at the money center today at this Smith’s location. The tall lady with the apron was extremely rude and the only question I asked was if the counter was open. She made an ugly face and said well obviously then I reported her rudeness to the manager and the managers turn to me and walked away and did nothing, spend your money somewhere else. Clearly they don’t care whether you shop there or not.

Smith's is one of my go-to places to shop. Their rewards system makes prices decent compared to other grocery stores with local foods that are grown and supplied with care. Thank you guys for all your generosity and hard work - you've helped me get what i need at an affordable price but good quality for the past 7+ years :)

REALLY!! One cash register open and self check out had a line all the way down the isle it’s next too! Come on management, schedule more people to work! Especially at 6pm on a weekday😒 Just lost my business to your competitor
