This store gets worse and worse! Either rip out the cash registers and put all self check out or put people at the registers! What is your problem with just getting people checked out without everybody going thru self checkout? You have 6 or 7 registers closed and everbody backed up at self checkout! Stop this! Some people are not good at self checkout so it's not a quick convenient option!

They treat paying customers as thieves. How awful the way they treat their customers and security acts like goons. If someone shoplifts then take recessions but this is not what this store does. I bought $20 worth of items. Floss, yogurt and hot pockets and the store treated me awful. I will be reaching out to Smiths corporate. I will never return to this location. Something needs to be done.

The prices were a bit higher than Walmart, but the checkout lines were much quicker and the customer service was good. Also, those buffalo chicken wings were quite tasty.

Very dangerous and unpleasant place to shop. The volume of homeless beggers in the store and parking lot is staggering. I get hit up for money, gas, food, cigarettes and medicine EVERY SINGLE TIME I go in by multiple beggers. There is a security incident EVERY SINGLE TIME I walk into this store! I feel harassed and unsafe my entire shopping trip. Pathetic!!!!

It has to be the most kindest store I've been to always helpful,have helped me a few times when I was short but always come back to repay the kind person that's why I only shop for my food here AWESOME service

I'm giving this store a bad review . The only reason my mother in law saw produce that were marked down and packaged in a red bag . She asked an associate named Matthew is this product is fresh ? He brushed her to the side just look at the damn phone , she took the risk and bought the produce after she came home she realized that the produce has been spoiled and rotten . If the store manager is not gonna look into this the store can get people sick .... for stuffs like this I'm glad that I stop my mother in law for not using the produce this will be the last we will ever shop again and I'll make sure I will tell anyone else to avoid that store til it gets situated

Worst customer service ever. Cashier couldn't even do her own job. Then the managers and security are screaming at other customers. Cussing causing a big chaos. Wow. I'm glad I don't come to this one that often

I learned something this past weekend. 1-13-2024. I went to put gas in my truck & learned that a 150$ hold was put on my card. When I called & I finally had to raise my voice because the manager at this particular store is not very smart nor very helpful. Found out that Smiths can put a hold on a gas purchase instantly, but it takes 5 days to release. Will never go to smiths again.

Not much of a selection of yogurt. Bathroom was in horrible shape. Stall door wouldn't lock, sink water stayed on for less than 2 seconds. Dryer blowing ice cold air.

Very unhelpful clerks and staff. Not a clean store, in fact we found multiple open food containers which the clerks seemed well aware of but were allowing to stay on the shelf. When we couldn't find one product we needed, we were not helpfully offered alternative products; we were told to go to another grocery store by a checkout clerk who was annoyed we even asked. The security guard was by far the most helpful and pleasant person there, even walking us over to the little endcap with one of the things we were shopping for. Everyone else working there acted like they were performing forced labor. We will go out of our way to shop at another location than this one.

I went here today to do some shopping as I was doing my shopping I saw that a white male security officer was sneaking on me while I was doing my shopping I told him that I was going to make a complaint on him and he told me that I couldn't buy the items I had in my basket then I asked if I could talk to a manager he told me no that his manager was not there I asked to talk to a store manager and he said no and that i couldn't shop there no more and that he was going to get my picture to apd there was a stroe manager working and his name was Anthony the cashier that checked me out was not wearing a name tag he was making remarks about me to a customer about my interactions with the security he is a tall very heavy set weight hispanic his name is joey I felt like I was being discriminated against the security guard and racially profiled please be careful if you go into the store please be careful with the cashier person whose name is Joey even though he doesn't wear a name tag

March 17th 2024 Saint Patrick's Day I waited in line at the deli or actually I was the only person in line for at least 10 minutes the worker in the back just kept looking at me and would walk right past me over and over 🤦🤦🤦🤦 then some lady tried to help and still couldn't get anyoneI only wanted a few pieces of fried chicken 😢 I was starving

A lot of food I've been buying spoils faster than usual. Finding outdated items is regular. Produce doesn't stay fresh for long. And prices are so high.

I shop here all the time close to closing time and it seems like they have a steady flow of people even when it's late. I like that they changed their self checkout to 20 items or less and they inforce it. I know because i was even told to go to a cashier because I was over the limit. The workers are for the most part helpful.

I was shopping 🛍 for a few items that I needed. Also, I gave two friends a ride to Smith's so that they can shop too. All the associates are very nice and helpful.

You can tell the management tries to keep this Smith's up to date in a building that's almost dilapidated and located in an awful part of town. I recently stopped in to quickly purchase a bottle of vodka for a bat mitzvah but found the entire hard liquor section locked up. While I do understand the reasoning behind this as I've personally witnessed just about every act of human depravity committed in the Fair Plaza parking lot and have seen how some of those unwelcome elements have entered Smith's to brazenly steal or consume the store's alcoholic beverages I do find it tedious and time consuming to make a cashier stop doing their job to walk over and unlock the case just to get me a bottle. Thusly my future grocery purchases will be influenced by this fact and I may choose to spend a little more elsewhere for the convenience of being able to carry my own bottle of liquor to the cashier.

I had an issue with my delivery. We'll for whatever reason the driver canceled my order. Now I have to wait 5 to 7 days to get my money back. In these times living paycheck to paycheck & not having a car I find it ridiculous that now I have to place another $137.00 order & which will now be $277.00 that I don't have. I know I will get the $137.00 back but, it can take up to 7 days. Now I have to figure out how to stretch my money out till then. If uber can reimburse money within minutes then instacart should do the same.

I was checking at self check out and the lady who was there asked me if I had 20 items wich obviously I had more than that. I said no and she told me to next time go to a regunaler lane. Ma'am, there's only one lane open and around 7 people in lane waiting all the way down your aisle. What about opening more lanes before sending people to a service that's not even in service. Self check out machine kept beeping because there's was more than 20 items being scanned so the lady kept coming to my machine, she was definitely trying to keep her cool. Open more lanes, no one should be waiting more than 30 minutes to check out.

I love Smith's but this location is going down hill. The cashier I had today his name was Allan, he is the slowest, no customer service, cashier ever. I come to this location all the time but today is the last day. To start it off I came to Allans line to check out, he stood and talked to the gentleman already there,who mind you had cashed out already. Allan talked to the customer about 5 plus minutes about government conspiracies, kept telling the customer the change he gave him was wrong more than once. Then when Allan was done with the other customer and turned to me he continued the conversation about government conspiracies which I did not engage in. Mind you I have 2 full shopping carts and only have half of the first on the belt because he won't continue and I've been standing there for about 10 mins at this point and have nothing of my $600 plus order scanned. Then instead of ringing like items in quantity he rang them up individually and made it more complicated. So yes at this point I'm beyond upset never have I ever went to a Smith's and spend as much time in line as I did shopping no matter how much I'm buying. The 20 item limit at the self checkout needs to be lifted I could have done it faster. I don't know what the issue was today but something needs to be done with Allan maybe put him on cleaning and trash duty so he won't have to interact with customers. Government conspiracies shouldn't be talked about in public you never know who you are talking to.

Have usually everything I need and cashiers are super nice. I would rate it better if I wasn’t getting followed around almost every time I walk in by some low paid security guard. I was minding my own business shopping with my mother and this woman has the audacity to follow me isle per isle watching me. It’s honest disrespectful and enraging this is Probably the 3rd or 4th time it’s happened

My husband had to pick up a few items and went to Smith’s. He struggles to walk any distance and has had several falls due to chemo and a fractured back. ALL 6 handicapped parking spots were occupied by cars with NO handicapped tags. This is inexcusable. Smith’s needs to do better with having these cars towed.

The actual Smith's employees are great! The security could use some improvement. I've been shopping here for 2 years, almost daily, and security still follows me around depending on who is working. I have no criminal history and I have never shop lifted, but their older security staff members profile me often. Must be my tattoos... tattooed or not, nobody deserves to be profiled, especially paying regular customers.

I been going to the same Smiths on Lomas at least 20 yrs. But lately, I have security following me around, ex-cashiers just watching and gossiping. No customer interactions only their careless stares.

Without doubt this is the worst Smiths I have ever shopped at. I normally shop at the Smiths on Golf Course and they are exceptional. Leroy needs some customer service training!! I was in the self-check out and one of the items did not have a tag, so I let him know I needed help because there was no bar code. Well, he response was. "well go get one with a tag!!" I was confused why he responded this way but went ahead and held up the line and got my item and returned. Please learn to speak to customers or don't work in customer service.
