Celeste in customer service or money center lacks basic customer service skills, she called me over and as I approached she was cussing and slamming things. I greeted her and she wouldn’t look at me not sure why. I do not work in customer service but I do have manners and know how to treat people without being paid to do so. Definitely won’t be coming back

Just like another reviewer said . There is something seriously wrong with this store . they dont let paying customers use the bathroom here . after spending nearly $20 in this grocery store then they would't allow me to use the bathroom .even though I was a customer then I had to go drive somewhere to use the bathroom. if people can't use the bathroom at this grocery store then put a sign on the door saying it !

There is a serious problem with this store. My wife and I were shopping and I suddenly had the urge to use the restroom. I asked an employee where the restrooms were and he reflexively said they were out of order. This made no sense so I sought a manager. A woman told me that they do not have public restrooms. I replied that I am not 'the public' I am a customer. She shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes and walked away muttering. I then went and spoke with a security guard and asked for the store manager. The store manager was named Eric and I explained to him that my wife and I wanted to spend money there, but could not if I were not allowed to use the restroom. Eric instructed the guard to show me where the restroom was and my wife reclaimed our cart and continued to shop. The lady who rolled her eyes at me saw this and was livid. I am grateful to Eric for allowing me to use the restroom, but it should never have been an issue. It would not be at the store on Paseo. There is a serious problem in Albuquerque. Locking up bathrooms would not be tolerated in the Deep South, but businesses are doing it here.

My favourite store for buying daily necessities when short on time. It's a bit more expensive than Costco, or Walmart for vegetables, but they have good products. The salesmen are usually nice. I prefer Smith's as it's small(most of them) so it's easy to find everything really quick. There are multiple checkouts and self checkout service as well. It has handicap parking, and entrance. Dogs and cats are usually not allowed unless it's a service animal.

Entitled cashier Seth is extremely rude and insulting. I had a basket full of groceries, which included bread and chips. I asked him nicely when he was crushing the chip bags to not smash the chips. He got frustrated because he had to bag the groceries. He proceeded to tell me to bag my own groceries. I told him no. I didn't work there. Things escalated quickly after. He called me lazy for not helping him and wanted to refuse my business. I turned to his supervisor, and he didn't refuse and took over the transaction. I don't know when customer service wasn't a qualification to work. This store has gone downhill since Jimmy, Fernando, Charles, and the rest of the crew that left that actually cared about their customers. #DoBetter

Why is there always a large black truck parked right next to the building in the fire lane? Is it an employee's? Is it corporate policy to allow employees to park right next to the building in a fire lane? I thought they parked further away so customers can use close spots? Of course the fire lane shouldn't be used at all by anyone except the fire department. So why is it seemingly allows there?

Older Caucasian security guard must be racist or prone to profiling cause I got stopped for having my backpack on me and asked to leave it up front when that has never happened to me before by any other security guard or staff member. I have always paid for my things, and my backpack had very valuable things inside that I can guarantee the store has no liability for if it were stolen or misplaced. Not to mention this location is near UNM where plenty of people who also don't have vehicles walk around with backpacks. I'll be coming in to talk to someone about this issue soon. The rest of the staff are very helpful, not that security guard though.

Went to smiths at 10:45. Doors were closed and I was rejected by the security guard. Called the customer service number and the very disrespectful girl said “we close our doors at 10:45.” If you’re open till 11 then you should be open to the public until 11.

The man at money services there with the long hair and mysteriously intriguing eyes and very handsome appearance makes this store worth going to everytime , even if I don’t need anything it’s worth it just to see that face 😍

Wild experience every time. Can be an exciting place. Self-checkout is like DaVinci Code because of all of the people trying to steal. Its a bit ridiculous

It's a lot smaller then what I'm used to, but the selection is ok and they don't have a public bathroom.

This Smith's is a decent option if you're doing small runs and you live nearby. Shopping there during peak hours or at night is not fun.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The store @ Yale is TERRIBLY managed. The woman manager who works days with glasses just barks orders at people and isn't very tactful, respectful, or even nice. The shelves are ALWAYS EMPTY. It's so frustrating. Shopping here is a waste of time.

Oof. Scary Smith's. Terrible selection of production, the layout of the store is quite tight, and some employees are far from customer service minded.

It is a smaller older store with a limited selection. The store layout is quite disorganized, things are placed all over in random spots.

Pretty sketch, but convenient if you live nearby. Good for quick runs to get essentials, but I do big grocery runs at other places. The aisles are super narrow, and the parking lot is pure chaos. Do not recommend visiting after dark.

What time do they really close at ? A lot of places online don't give the exact closing time and i would like to know what time this smith's actually closes at. Please and thank you.

They had eggs this time. Sometimes you'd have to get there when they shipped.

Every time I come to this location I regret it. It is so unorganized and dirty. They don't even have the scan codes for digital coupons. I hope to never have to return.

5 star customer service :) didn't have what I was looking for but the employees were very sweet. One of the employees named Gilbert went out of his way to help me look for the half gallon of half and half that I wanted but wasn't there so I seen a smaller size that was on sale or maybe it was in the wrong spot but when I took it to checkout it didn't ring up the price I thought so I told employee Marie that I was gonna leave it there and apologized and instead she gave me the price I saw earlier!

The Smiths Yale Blvd store is an absolute hideous nightmare... I'm 70 years old and I've never seen so much chaos and mental illness in my life... The management and staff are absolutely incompetent and disgusting... Completely incapable of handling the basic needs of the customer...BEWARE.. AND AVOID THIS LOCATION...

Just the staff here knows they are appreciated. In a town where after 8pm is like forbidden shopping hours, these guys kick it till 11pm, are never nasty about getting you out, and it's nice to know there's one spot in town that honors its hours and doesn't tell you when you walk in that just so you know we close in whatever minutes it may be. 😉

Was not a fan of this location where the store was located. Looks like this was the only grocery store that was open at 9 PM where we had stayed for the night. They had what we needed seemed to be clean and well-kept. There there was police monitoring cameras in the parking lot so it kind of safe to park and get in the store.

I just witnessed the most blatant racism from a customer against employee Kobe - whose always been nothing but kind and helpful. Kobe deserves a raise for putting up with such ignorance day to day from our rude neighbors or at least employee of the month for doing so with such grace and poise. I really love this smiths but I’m disappointed by the patrons who shop here
